Good morning. How are you folks? This is Diane and Randal Breaux coming to you from Prescott, Arizona. She’s the Prescott Pit Lady. I am her sidekick, Gerkin. That’s right. We are your local husband and wife real estate team. Uh selling and showing you all about life in Prescott. Life in Prescott. One of the things you need to know about Prescott, one of the up and coming things is speakeasys. So, we’ve we’ve talked about several speakeasies. There’s at least four. Oh, there’s a lot downtown. There’s a lot of It’s going great. Uh the last one, the most recent one that we went to is called Kimmy’s, which is in the Bashford Court. The That’s a sort of a I retail space that’s right across the way from the court right on the uh town square. Square. Yep. And it’s uh I guess it’s it’s you go down, it’s like down in the basement. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I’m trying to remember. Yeah, we went down in it. Really cool place, darling. Really cool place. Uh, we really had a great time. We met some friends there. The cocktails were really good. Fancy the Yeah, the the speak easys, those are your best bartenders in town. They really are. Yeah, they have. I have to say, shout out to you guys. Cheers to you because you really do some cool cool really cool. Yeah, you I mean, if you want to go drinks and Yeah. Yeah. and and get like a margarita. They’ll have that. But you you owe it to yourself to try some of the specialty cocktails that these places make. Yeah, it’s really amazing. Kimmyz in particular had had some really great cocktails and the presentation, you know, so they’ll bring you like a smoked drink that has a clear dome over it. You lift the dome and the smoke comes out. Popular for old fashions. Yeah, very popular. And it has a nice smoky taste. Yeah. I mean, they they do some really high-end fancy drinks I’ve never heard of. And I’m from New Orleans, so I’ve seen them all, heard about them all, drank them all. Yeah. When we were there, they had some karaoke going on. Yes. So, um, you know, karaoke is kind of hit or miss depending on who’s standing up and singing. It’s the nature of the beast. That is true. But they kind of had a host. I a host. I don’t know what you call him, but a wonderful singing voice. And he was kind of a DJ. A DJ, I guess. DJ, not a karaoke. A DJ karaokeer. I don’t know. I don’t know what you call him. But he sang some, but he also played some music and then he also let others sing. Yeah. So, it was uh it was pretty cool. And our waitress jumped in and sang. She was awesome. She did. She got up there and she sang. She had a great voice. She did. She did. It was uh it was a fun evening. We met some friends and had a good time and just kind of caught up on life and listened to some great music in a really cool uh spot. So, cool spot. They have uh one of the things I really liked is uh they had a a big screen TV showing uh films from the prohibition era. Yes. Which I thought was really cute. That was cute. That was really cute. And it was actually kind of interesting. I was like, “Wow, this stuff was real back then, people.” Um so yeah, we had a good time. So just wanted to give a a plug to Kimmyz it’s a good time. in if you’re coming in for the uh well the holidays are over now I guess but anyway if you’re coming in for a visit make sure you uh check it out. So there’s there’s Kimmy’s there’s a fire and sword the local it’s been there for a long long time uh where else the point the point not the local the point. Yeah that’s right. The local breakfast place the point. I knew that wasn’t right. Yes. Something was wrong. I knew I kn I knew it. They have other some other really nice fair weather is a great bar. The Cortez is great. Oh, yeah. There’s tons. There’s a whole bunch of them. So, if you want to go downtown and and kind of move from e walking distance one to the other uh right around the right around the the square area right where Whiskey Row is. It’s really And most of them will have live music. Yeah. So, anyway, uh so it’s a good time. Good time. Go for a couple of hours. So, check out Kimmmy’s. Absolutely. So, cheers.
