hello hello hello hello peeps this is Diana Randall bro here uh coming to you this evening from the beautiful little city of Prescot Arizona presc Arizona she’s PR yes yes yes yes I am I’m always in production making delicious Cajun pickles that I’m happy to share with you when I see you or if you come to one of my open houses so we are here today to talk about a fabulous new restaurant that we absolutely adore we love it so much that I even had them cater a party we had it was astonishing was so good and so it is (00:42) called Omaha Omaha OHA ohigh oh Idaho no no Wisconsin no what state is it it’s o h Au U Hawaiian Barbecue something like that Hawaiian it’s called Hawaiian Barbecue no it isn’t it has a name Wahoo uhhuh something like that I don’t think so I think it says Hawaiian Barbecue on it does not okay pull up my phone and I’ll prove it to you right now it has a formal name not just Hawaiian Barbecue okay all right but it is on the corner of Cortez and Sheldon so for you local folks don’t miss it it’s fabulous it (01:19) used to be where the old Thai Cottage was yeah so we have a review on K Tha cottage which was also my favorite yeah no it’s actually we called it a cottage but it actually the name of it was actually house that’s right but it was uh it was run by a Thai family lovely and uh they they did a great job and uh the only thing about it was they were constantly away visiting Thailand with their family and I don’t know if they went back to thail think they went back so so we were very sad when they closed (01:49) so it it it took a while for the new place to open and it took us a few weeks to try it but when we did oh it is amazing it is just like some of the traditional food you’ll find in Hawaii when you go to visit so if you love spam they’ve got spam dishes which you Hawaii is the the highest per capita uh consumption of spam in the world that’s right so if you’re a Spam fan this is the place to go but they also have amazing barbecue beef fixed Hawaiian style that’s the that’s the one I would (02:22) try that is so good if you haven’t gone yet try the beef first the beef is amazing the beef is amazing yeah um and then they also have delicious pork they have chicken katsu which is lightly breaded chicken strips fixed uh the Japanese way from in Hawaii as they fix it Paco PCO I forget what they call the breading I don’t know but it was good and uh what else uh oh Cher chicken terak Chien my favorites are the beef and the teriyaki chicken you can’t beat it and then they also give you your traditional uh macaroni salad which is (02:56) really big in Hawaii you get their macaroni salad good and and rice and delicious sauces that goes over it so I mean so you walk in you place your order they bring it to you it’s a you know it’s a nice little seating area yeah it’s set up set up kind of like a fast food place they will bring you your food yes uh from the count I guess if they’re very busy maybe they won’t but they’ll call your number but uh you know it’s not a service restaurant so much but uh it’s it’s wonderful and they’ve done a (03:27) great job remodeling the place the inside of really really nice uh and they are just they are just killing it and they do catering as well so like for instance we had a party we got huge treay of all these different Meats set it up uh buffet style everybody came loved it they also do egg rolls they also do crab drons I mean it’s it’s it’s good stuff it is really good stuff and it’s just a great place just to go have lunch yeah uh you don’t necess if you don’t need to have catering just go (03:56) there and you have a great you know dinner um they have smaller sizes they have bigger dinner portions it goes on and on and on I cannot say enough good things about it is really good Hawaiian the other thing I really like about it is it’s not another of something yeah uh so any of you guys out there considering opening a restaurant I’m sure nobody is that probably is no one but just in case if you want to start a restaurant in the area of Prescot don’t do Italian there are at least a half dozen phenomenal (04:30) really good Italian Italian restaurants don’t do Thai there’s like a half dozen Amazing Thai restaurant but you know people new restaurants oh it’s another Italian restaurant oh yeah okay well every eighth visit will go there you know because the other ones are are always going to be the priority but these people very barbecue very clever something different and something really really good we did a recently did a video on lyx Lake they do German food it’s nice to see something a little you know off off the path absolutely we (05:04) would love to see a Cuban restaurant would be wonderful yes I’d love Cuban yeah just you know something a little different because uh yeah you a good well we we we’ve had a a couple of decent steak restaurants we’re still waiting for a really fine steak dining uh that’s good so but anyway we are truly tickled to have Hawaiian Barbecue uh we go there all the time now at least once a week for lunch good stuff good so if you’re local make sure you try it out because we need to support all of our local restaurants for (05:36) sure and if you’re coming in from out of town make sure you try it out it’s a good launch you’re not going to be disappointed at let us know what it’s called because Clean Your Jets

Long ago when people thought about relaxing, they would envision themselves sinking below the surface of a sea of warm swirling bubbles, the personal oasis of a large jetted tub. Paradise!

No one thought about scum… but it was there… growing all the time.

Now you just can’t talk about jetted tubs without someone bringing up scum. If you’ve ever turned on the jets on a tub that hasn’t been used in a while, you know why. Eww!

The thing is, few things are as easy to clean as a jetted tub. You just need to know the trick… which we share in this episode. If you’ve turned your sore back on jetted luxury because of scum, take a gander… and a nice warm bath.

hello hello peeps good to see everybody this morning happy to be here Diana Randall bro we are here your local real estate uh Team husband and wife um we used to be boyfriend girlfriend no but uh yeah now we’re just now we’re just ball and chain you know it is almost 40 years yeah but anyway that’s okay here with another tip for you and this is sort of a tangential real estate thing yeah so you see you know you see these these different styles come in and out one of the had to have things in the past were the Deep Garden tubs right (00:46) jacuzzi tub with a jacuzzi tub oh go yeah but not only am I my tub gonna make me clean but it’s gonna it’s gonna make me feel relaxed and invigorated and all that with the Jets and now there’s they’ve stopped doing that the the the tubs are uh they’re kind of dying you don’t see them as much anymore you don’t see them too much people want big huge walk-in showers yeah they or big tubs that they stand with the the tubs with the feet we’re seeing some of that too oh yeah yeah yeah so but what we found (01:14) is something we learned I didn’t even know this but if you have a jetted tub to keep it in good operating um condition you should every month put run a little bit of bleach and or vinegar and or no not ends not ends you can’t put vinegar and bleach at the same time I didn’t I said and or yeah and or just say or or you can’t say don’t do and yeah don’t you if you put bleach if you put bleach and vinegar you will release chlorine gas and kill yourself yeah do not combine it do not combine it so (01:46) don’t do and or just do or was my point oh Lord yeah there it is so you could do punch him in the throat yeah go ahead now please please do it the uh um you you can do bleach about a half cup m uh you can do vinegar about two cups again don’t thr them together or you can do dishwashing uh uh detergent don’t do regular detergent or your bathroom will fill with SIDS uh but just you know I would do I would do vinegar I do a couple of couple of uh things of vinegar and then run it for about 30 minutes and (02:19) then drain it and then fill it with cold water and run that for about 30 minutes and drain it done the vast majority of people don’t use their their jetted tubs because they get dirty then when you turn them on all this Gunk comes out right and then they stop and people don’t want the tubs anymore because they they’re they get dirty it’s gross and it’s they’re so easy to clean it’s just it’s just maintenance it’s just it’s just maintenance yeah so we learned this have we done it yet no but I think it’s (02:47) a great idea yeah uh I’m excited to try it she still hasn’t done it but uh yeah but I have the knowledge and knowledge is power my friends you know that the power to take action that’s right so I will do it and it keeps your uh your jets in great operating condition without that nasty stuff floating in there when you do use it remember the first time you got into a jetted deep tub how wonderful that was bring that back into your life we need to put these jetted tubs back on the map because they’ve got a bum wrap they do they do (03:20) just a little bit of so we didn’t know this and we had a good friend it’s like yeah you just maintained it’s super clean and I’m like oh wow did not know this so we just thought we threw this out there to you if you got jetted tubs honest yeah next time we have a a listing with a jetted tub we have to go over and do that because sometimes the inspectors will turn on the the Jets you know so yeah you got to do that it can be scary can be really scary so anyway just thought we’d pass on that helpful (03:45) tip yeah it’s not fun it’s not sexy but it is helpful well Jed tubs can be sexy okay not when they’re dirty not when they’re dirty no no there’s nothing sexy about no then you’re jumping out I got to get out of here I can’t do it yeah exactly so anyway hope this is helpful to you out there listening if you have a jetted tub get out there and take care of it that’s exactly right that’s her tip of the day you like tips there’s a place to go it’s called pickle 411.com that is our free information (04:17) site whether you’re a buyer seller somewhere in between there’s information waiting for you that will Amaze the stound educate and inform oddly enough we have information that will inform you and uh it’ll do other things to you I don’t yeah yeah write us and let us know what our what our free information site does to you because we’re we’re looking for more ways to describe it one way we always describe it is it’s free it’s absolutely free you can send us money if you want but you don’t have to because (04:47) it’s free all right my friends thank you for reaching out and uh and I hope that this is helpful to you and we look forward to hearing from you soon hopefully all right take care bye bye

hello hello hello this is Diane and Randall bro coming to you from our beautiful mountain town of presc Arizona pres Arizona pres Arizona today we’re doing another restaurant review our favorite yeah this one you know this company is just they’re taking over the world they are kicking they kicking tail butt kicking butt kick kick butt kicking all kinds of things yeah so this is uh the wz wz Asian beastro the only thing they’ve done wrong is the name I just lose the wz just call (00:38) it Asian vro but I digress anyway they opened a place in uh Prescot Valley very successful uh we reviewed it uh you can get Chinese Japanese and uh Thai food there yep uh all all the same place which is really great typically I’ll get sushi and she’ll get something on the Chinese menu uh great restaurant they opened up a second location we loved it in presc in presc they have another it’s like a ramen noodle place or something over by you know where Five Guys uh BD does that belong to them too yes they have a we have never have a noodle shop friend their latest (01:17) addition to the family is a buffet restaurant wz Asian buffet Asian buffet and that’s good stuff and odly enough they have Chinese Japanese and Thai food on the buffet along with all those really weird desserts that you always see at Asian buffet restaurants yes I don’t think anyone’s ever eaten any of it I think they just it’s made of wax and they just keep pulling it out but besides that it is excellent right that’s right they do a great great job very good it’s always packed uh the buffet is huge it’s clean tons of selections they even (01:54) have American food on there too if you’ve got a picky person picky eater picky kid you know pizza for the kids yeah yeah so we love it and we go up there with friends for lunch and then we come home and take a nap yeah pretty much have to takeen out because it’s good stuff yeah so if you like to graze you know you don’t want to just commit to one thing uh if you like to commit to one thing well then go to one of their other go to but if you kind of want to just graze and try (02:22) everything a little bit of this and a little bit of that this is a great place to do it uh it’s very well appointed uh the AC is is nice a lot of times you go to these buffet restaurants and it’s muggy cuz they don’t really they trying to save money or something I don’t know hot muggy it was very comfortable very very nicely done uh service was great uh the food was all nice and fresh they were constantly bringing out new food so it just doesn’t sit there and boil all day long you know (02:49) it was nice and fresh yeah it was all fresh they were constantly replenishing yeah so great Buffet Great Buffet so can’t say enough good things about enough good things they have a a a lunch L uh a lunch menu and then well I guess a not menu but lunch buffet and a dinner buffet uh we have not been to the dinner buffet it cost a little more so I’m thinking they have yet do I didn’t even know that I think they might have some more premium Su BR more like that yeah uh but we’ve done the (03:19) the lunch thing a couple of times it was really quite good had to look forward to getting there uh for dinner very good yeah so that’s our another great tip try the wz Asian buffet MH um if you want a little bit more concentrated meal then try the beastro all good stuff good they do a great job all good no complaints we love it and we love it and we’re glad to have them yep so hope to see you maybe at the buffet one day and stop save us oh yeah the M crab the egg rolls were goods were good yeah so give us a call if you see us say hello give us a shout out yep we’ll say (03:56) hello in between bites yep that’s our tip of the day if you like tips to place to go is our free information site pickle 411.com and whether you’re a buyer seller or somewhere in between there’ll be something there waiting for you that will Amaze Astound uh inform entertain and overwhel maybe make you hungry and maybe make you hungry if we’re talking about restaurants yeah about the restaurants all right all completely free all completely free hope to see you soon at one of our (04:24) favorite restaurants thank you for listening and have a great rest of your day bye bye

bour oh a French fris hello hello hello Diane and Randall bro here coming to you this afternoon from Prescot Arizona we are your local helpful efficient amazing uh real estate team that’s us uh Rand and Dian bro here did I say my name but I’ll say it again you just keep saying it just in case you didn’t catch it never get old I’m also called the pickle lady pickle lady yeah so we are here to talk we get this a lot we get a lot of questions and I completely understand it’s a great question about (00:39) Medical Care yeah Medical Care here in presc so I think we may have covered this before but we probably did every now and then you need to retread something there there it’s unusual for someone to come and visit us and go around with us and not ask us this question absolutely so the answer is yes we do have medical care there isn’t and end a video cut Finn as they say Finn good no yeah we did a good job on that we covered that we went into great depth y uh no yes we do have medical care um you should know there are two major (01:14) hospitals one in Prescot one in Prescot Valley they are run by Dignity Health uh we have a lot of so they referred to as the East Campus and the west campus that’s right we also have there are Specialists here there isn’t one doctor’s office here uh there’s a lot of satellites there’s cardiologist if God forbid you have cancer um you can pretty much go down to Phoenix to um the Mayo Clinic the Cancer Centers down there MD Anderson MD Anderson all the big cancer people yeah the research hospitals are obviously in (01:49) a big city you can’t have we can’t sustain a huge research hospital here in our small town most of that is right around the scottsd area that’s about an hour and a half an hour and 45 minutes away but the good news is you go down there you get your protocol there are satellite offices in Prescot so once they lay out your plan of action uh you don’t even have to usually you don’t have to go back down there you can do it here in Prescot with your orders um but yeah we’ve got a lot of friends uh they (02:19) have a good cardiologist several here uh good uh What do you call them gastrologist gastro yeah uh I’m looking for a good psychiatrist yeah yeah yeah well like a lot of the kind of thing where you have uh ongoing uh ongoing care like rehab you know not not the drug rehab but you know you got a a new knee a new hip yeah you know they’ll have that kind of stuff here we don’t want you to think oh there’s only one doctor’s office whatever will I do yeah now they’re here and the hospitals are (02:51) actively engaging trying to improve and get younger doctors in here as well so we are growing and evolving y um there are also a lot of concierge doctors here which I don’t know where you are from your neck of the woods but um that’s a new trend where you can put up two to $4,000 and you have your own personal doctor you can go see whenever you want you call them they make room for you there’s no oh you got to wait two weeks yeah um so that’s pretty attractive especially if You’ have a major (03:26) condition and something has happened dreadfully it could help you save a lot of trips to the emergency bre yeah well one thing one thing I always mention is uh if you are within I would say 50 maybe as much as 100 miles from Prescot and you are in a car accident and they Life Flight you out they’re going to bring you to presc it’s the it’s the biggest most advanced Regional Hospital in the area until you need to do like an mayo or MD Anderson uh this is the place and that’s true of all the areas around (04:01) here we will’ll come to presc good stuff good stuff so I don’t want you to have a preconception here that or preconceived notion is that word yeah prec yeah it’s not like the you know we’re not that cowboy town where they give you a bullet to bite on and pour Whiskey on your stomach before they cut out your appendix that’s right no nothing like that we’ve Advanced a little bit since we have a lot of good Specialists we have a lot of good dentists we have a lot of good you know endodontists (04:30) we have it all okay um it might I do recommend when you come that at least the first week go ahead and get your name into one of the doctors you want to go to because it might take a month or two to get established once you’re established you’re in yeah but don’t wait until it’s a crisis you know get then you’re going to find yourself in trouble that’s right and and you know we don’t mean to portray this as nervana uh our country is struggling with Health Care particularly since covid and uh our (05:01) our little town is doing its best to deal with the difficult situation that everyone else is dealing with that’s so you know trying to find good doctors and everything a lot of places are struggling with that and presc it is too uh but for the most part um you you can get the care that you need here at least that’s been AB we’re trying to get some help for him but yeah yeah nobody wants to take him nobody wants to take on trying the psychotic mess I call a brain so I don’t want you to be afraid (05:32) um it’s all good you know and um we’ve had a lot of people go through good friends some very serious yes uh health issues yes and they’re still here doing great and you just get resourceful and uh adjust and make yeah I I mean we we most of our friends are in their late 60s 7s 80s uh so just about any point in time we have a good friend who’s undergoing something and so this is you know Medical Care is something that we kind of have our finger on absolutely because we’re constantly getting (06:08) feedback and for the most part people do get the care they need they do yeah so we just wanted to bring that up again because we get that asked uh we get asked about that a lot one the top ones and it is important for you to know and reassure you that you’ll be okay yeah all right my friends that is our lovely tip for today yeah if you Another great restaurant review: This time we feature Lynx Lake Cafe, a charming German-style restaurant overlooking beautiful Lynx Lake. Great food, great service… and a few surprises.

Plus, you’ll swear you are hundreds of miles from civilization, but you’re really only 10 minutes from Costco. What a great outing!

hello hello hello hello peeps Diana Randle bro here that’s she’s pickle a we’re here in Prescott that’s right Prescott Arizona the beautiful mountain town a mile high up uh having great Four Seasons here yep monsoons have hit we’re excited about that yeah the worst of the Summer’s over it’s cooling us down actually by the time you see this it’s going to be in September I just a little little aside we’re recording this in Late July we work way ahead people cuz that’s how we roll cats out of the bag we’re prepared meow meow okay we’re doing one of our one of uh one of our favorite bits and that’s a restaurant so we’re doing a restaurant review restaurants yep we hear all the time people like our restaurant reviews so we try to do as many of them as we can we pretty much skip the places that we can’t fully recommend uh that’s why sometimes you know we uh we don’t do one for a while because we didn’t feel like we can give the a big thumbs up but we’ll give a big thumbs up to this one it’s the Lynx Lake cafe ly lake cafe been there forever it’s been there forever it’s like a cute little cabin building yeah uh right by lyx Lake yep thousands of hummingbirds did you notice that oh yes we did oh absolutely yeah so we we went there with it was this a huge dinner group and uh we had been there before years ago it been a long time since we had been and uh the guy shout out to Charlie the guy who organizes all of this I so let’s try links Lake let’s do it lyns lake so let’s do it yeah really good for big groups uh we had a big group of men a big group of women all the wives went went together all the husbands went the other side and uh they accommodated us with no problem whatsoever they did a great job really good job and beautiful views so you’re right by the lake so they’ve got big giant picture windows a lot of hummingbird feeders so you see I mean they have hundreds of hummingbirds that float out there yeah it’s beautiful and then they have outstanding German food yes they do German really really good the beer selection’s pretty good I don’t know what you you were at the other table I sent you the crab cake crab cake was really good oh yeah the crab cake was I don’t know why you get good crab cakes at a German restaurant I don’t know but it was good stff CRA in Germany I don’t know I don’t know I I guess they do they have other kinds I guess yeah that’s a universal thing now hopefully you you weren’t exposed to that but um they had great crab cakes they had good Brussels Sprouts uh shrimp and then of course they have the your traditional German food yeah so I had a schnitzel it was wonderful yeah what did I get I got a schnitzel and it was good and I got what do you say uh uh spel spel yeah for a so we ate this delicious meal and promptly went home to bed to bed yeah because it was so good and filled your tummy yeah they had a nice selection of beer wasn’t huge but they they were well chosen MH uh so I just discovered some new crazy beer and it was absolutely delicious uh one thing I should mention about it too is it’s only about I don’t 10 minutes from Highway 69 and I mean you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere when you get out there there’s beautiful peaceful and beautiful Woody the lake yeah and it looks like a lodge you know lots of wood and you know crazy stuffed animals and you know you didn’t see the stuffed animal no they have a links that’s like attacking a I don’t know attacking something I took a picture of it I’ll I’ll show you in the video yeah well I highly recommend it we thought it was lovely and it is also a great place to go especially in the fall it’s going to be so nice in the fall with all the windows open and crisp fall air by the mountain in the trees so anyway that’s our shout out to Lynx Lake cafe right by L Lake which is you know you go eat and then go jump in the lake or get a kayak or something whatever you want very nice I don’t care yeah I’m open to it all that’s our tip of the day if you like tips Place goes pick 411. com that is our free information site whether you’re buyer seller somewhere in between there’s something there waiting for you that will Amaze Astound educate inform and um conf I I don’t know it does all kinds of things to you and it does it to you absolutely free pickle 411. com so try the Lynx Lake cafe L we love it yeah we’re GNA go back in the fall for sure abely Absolut cheers to that I can’t I am I hitting your finger there you go cheers all right have a great rest of your day everybody and thanks for listening bye bye

folks this is Diane and Randall bro hello peeps good afternoon we’re coming to you from Prescot Arizona here in the lovely Prescot Lakes happy to be here and share our newest thing this is our new phrase for everything when things are going wrong we are living in the great age of incompetence yes yes there used to be better ages yes the Gilded Age the this age the well it’s you know we don’t live a bad age I mean you can still get orange juice in the middle of the winter you know the thing is people just aren’t good at what they do anymore it’s just you can’t get good service you can’t things are not done the way they should be very true and so we’re just finding it more and more and more I don’t know if it’s an aspect of um recovering from covid when everything was shut down and I think I was thinking about this I think during the time of Co a lot of folks who were on the cusp of re and we’re like forget about it I’m done I’m out so what’s happened is there’s been a huge gap and so now there’s some younger folk coming in who maybe are coming out of college or high school where during Co they didn’t have to perform so to speak um so now they’re thrust into the Working World and things have changed yeah people are working at home they don’t know how to conduct themselves they’ve lost people skills uh they’ve lost a good work ethic and they’re like well I don’t have to do this I mean I’m just going to take some time off yeah and it’s created a lot of incompetence so I don’t know if you guys found that I yeah I I don’t know if it’s they don’t care anymore I just think it’s they’re just unable to do what they’re supposed to do so recently uh there was an assassination attempt on uh uh uh president Trump uh a very narrow Miss uh he was very very lucky and as the news comes out it’s very clear the Secret Service was just dro the ball time and time again uh we anytime you travel now if you have a connecting flight chances are you’re going to miss it I mean how many of you out there have heard you know every flight we’ve taken recently delay delay delay Mr your connecting flight I mean we might get home three days later yeah yeah and you know even they lost my luggage and the guy said I I don’t know what to tell you we told them to pull it they said they were and he looked at me he was an older gentleman he goes my co-workers are idiots yeah you know and I just don’t know if people have and that’s when the door doesn’t fly off of the Jets right they got I they got some serious things going on same thing restaurants it’s like I don’t know maybe because maybe some of the older more seasoned workers have moved on so they’re not there to train the younger folk and teach them how it’s supposed to be done I don’t know what the answer is well I well one one possible solution besides the fact that a lot of people with the most experienced workers uh retired is that you know we shut down the economy so all usually an organization has employees that have been there a while and they bring in me one or two employees and the people who’ve been there while can kind of show them the ropes well after covid there was no one who knew the ropes so they had to start all over you know it’s like every every business every organization is a startup now and they’re all trying to figure it out again and and I think you’re right I think people don’t care as much they don’t have the work ethic they used to having spent uh months at home getting paid for doing nothing and they want to do that again now we’re really sounding like old people yeah I you know standing old I know it I know it and the reason there is a small I mean there’s there is truth to this though folks I know it absolutely you have to work you can’t get money forever for free we wanted to make sure that we told you if you if you’re not aware or you haven’t noticed uh we thought it was important for you to know that you are living in the age of great incompetence because if you’re going to do a real estate transaction you’re going to be moving there are so many moving parts to that process on the selling side on your buying side you’ve got lenders you’ve got title companies you have inspectors you have movers you have handymen repairmen you’ve got contractors I mean you’ve got all of these pieces and parts the idea that everyone who is involved in your transactions is going to be competent in the age of great incompetence is vanishingly small yes so make sure you get very competent responsible um uh involved real estate agents yeah don’t get somebody who’s like I’ll call you in a couple of days you need somebody who’s with you every step of the way and we’ll hold your hand and make sure in the age of grading competence that your deal gets done and gets done correctly yeah you just have to double triple check you just need to track everything to ground follow up follow up just to make sure that even the simplest things oh we over to we’ll overnight it to you we had something where they were going to overnight it was a car TR a car a car purchase we’ll overnight it to you well they forgot to put it in the package they forgot to give it to the guy when he showed up you know oh here it is it’s in the outbox I guess they forgot to give it to the FedEx man yeah so well great you know let us call us when it’s there and we can really come back again and get this taken care of so in the age of gr incompetence look for good seasoned agents like Randall and myself we’re here to help you we uh we will do what we can many sleepless nights problem solving how can we you know switch this around and help these people get into their home um that’s what a good agent will do for you and that’s what we love to do for you and get you to the Finish Line yes so in the age of grading competence look for great competent people I think that you know one of the problems I think too having spent a fair amount of time in Corporate America uh mostly as a consultant is you know corporations treat their employees for the most part as interchangeable parts and anyone who’s been in the world will long enough will tell you that’s not the way any organization works you always have you know the people who are more than carrying their weight you know it’s the 20% they get 80% of the work done and uh it’s maybe we lost a lot of those people going forward recognize people when they’re good if you get a good waiter please tip well yes so they he’ll be he or she will be there next time they keep doing a good job recognize good good work because you can’t take it for granted anymore absolutely well cheers to you you do good work good job I try to we try and we try our hardest to bring the best for you as our client we really do Porcupines

Sometimes adorable creatures can be hazardous.

Here in Arizona, that would include porcupines. If you have pets, you might want to tune in, because these cuties can pack a powerful punch.

good morning hello Peeps and hello hello hello hello hello hello Diane and Randall bro here your friendly husband and wife real estate team and she’s pickle lady I am also the pickle lady I have many monikers that’s right that’s a good word I like moniker you’re yeah I know so today we want to talk about something a little interesting about moving here to Prescot if you have puppy dogs look out for porcupine porcupine so we got a call from a friend of ours whose dog uh Piper Piper uh just let out in the backyard and came up with a whole bunch of quills evidently they almost like fire out I I always thought you had to like throw yourself on a porcupine evidently they come out like little arrows I I don’t know yeah when they’re threatened it just happens happens and it happens fast and uh so she was uh stuck a whole bunch ended up uh and they have barbs on them too so they’re very hard to remove it was um I mean the dog is going to be fine he’s fine but it’s not a fun process and we’re not talking about one or two quills I mean you could have aund quills all in your dog’s face and in body and and it’s very uncomfortable and you have to make sure you get the whole Barb out you can’t just take it upon yourself to pull it out because sometimes you leave a piece in there and then it’s another nightmare now I don’t want you to think you walk around presca and you see porcupines everywhere cupin are very well hidden they’re they’re nocturnal yeah and they do not like to be seen so uh generally you don’t see them if you don’t see them that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not there they’re there they’re hiding I had seen por golf course I think yeah this is a house that’s on the golf course I think they kind of like the golf course uh same as coyotes coyotes also kind of like golf courses uh so if you have property like that or looking to buy property like that just be careful yeah so when you put your pups out you should know do we have porcupines yes do we have Havalina yes do we have coyotes yes especially if you got a teeny tiny dog oh yeah never never have unsupervised outdoor time well this really small dog I mean we’ got Hawks you know oh Hawks and that’s true in a lot of areas I mean you know it’s not like we have this abundance of wildlife the same as true a lot of those animals were there in Texas as well but uh so make sure you have supervised yard time um don’t go to the grocery store and leave your dog outside in the yard you might come home to a disaster yeah now we have big dogs so uh you know the the Ravens and you know that they’re not going to carry around our dogs but uh porcupines even a even a very large dog can get uh injured by do so we uh we have a little print out here so we have a little print out yeah so we went to chat GPT we are harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to give some tips on how you can avoid having dog uh stuck by a not stuck not stuck that’s right so as I said have supervised outdoor time yep uh have make sure you have a good fence around that little critter say they borrow underneath I don’t know how practical that is I know but you can try but they they are pretty pretty creative there’s also such a thing who knew called porcupine repellant yeah so you can get porcupine repellents get training oh training how do you get train your dog train your dog to stay away get like a stunt porcupine that’s kind of stupid commands like stay yeah or leave it important my dogs would never listen to that never learn just like my children they would never listen to that but hey if you’ve got good dogs who will listen to that for you good uh have the porcupine repellent I didn’t know they had such a thing use commercial porcupine repellants these can deter porcupines from coming near your property there you go so I don’t know what what that scent is or what that is I don’t know but I guess you could find out and spray it around your yard probably Puli or something like that they also say to remove food sources like bird feeders or fruit that falls from your trees yeah yeah um they’re attracted to that because they want to come eat and they’re hungry so try to keep those things to a minimum and if you’ve got uh fruit trees in your yard pick up the rotten fruit because I that was car’s problem I think she has a fruit tree I think she yeah um make sure you keep your yard clean of all brush and extra logs and things that they could hide in or B burrow in and make a cute little house Y and uh they also like uh motion activated lights and sprinklers are very good to detract them and deter them from coming into your yard they don’t want to be a part of that at all they don’t like it that’s right a Sprinkle I really like it kind of Squirt yeah yeah make them run make them run that would keep me out of your yard not that I would do anything to your dog and lots of lights so yeah it’ll be good so anyway um that’s just something to keep in mind yeah if you got a little pup she kind of went through a bad experience had to rush him to the vet and it was not cheap okay so be aware that when you come here we are got Critters yeah so yeah and like I said this is not like a common thing this is the first time I heard of it happening uh unfortunately to a friend of ours but uh we just thought we let you know and yeah it’s a it’s a good it’s important to know so know remember supervision is the top thing as far as I’m concerned as well as having a fenced yard yeah so be on the lookout for porcupines and any other Critters that could hurt your your kitty cats or puppy dogs and stuff like that so in conclusion after our many valuable tips we just gave you um make sure you protect your kitty cat your puppy dogs um things are out there it’s not always bad but you should be aware um there are some Critters out there who could wreak havoc for your little your little pup or kit so that is your tip of the day if you like tips the place to go is hello hello hello my fellow pickle peeps hello peeps Diane, Randal Breax here coming to you live from Prescott Arizona we are so excited to talk about all the wonderful changes coming uh due to some lawsuits against lawsuits basically they’ve made made a couple of lawyers uh really wealthy yep and uh they’re not good lawyers because their clients made like maybe $5 each yeah when when is settl is all said and done because we know the news is is very slanted it’s not giving you the full story after this class action lawsuit is settled amongst all the sellers they will make a grand total of about four or five dollars per person per seller yeah um but it is upset the apple cart for everyone else contct El in the whole world that’s right and so we want to give you a heads up that especially in the state of Arizona effective August 1 every client we meet all of our lovely buyers coming in you will have to sign what’s called a buyer’s contract a buyer’s employee agreement yeah it goes by a thousand different names which makes it that much help that that’s much more difficult we call it a buyer broker agreement yes but basically it is a contract between a buyer and a buyer’s agent just like a listing contract is a contract between a seller and a selling agent or listing agent that’s right so you are signing that you would love to work with us uh that you were going to employ us to help you find a home y to help you with every part of your move and all the other multitudes of things that we do for you uh during a a closing and during the process um it will go over our compensation and uh you’ll see what our uh commission rate will be except for now we can’t call it a commission yeah we can we can on the buyer broker agreement yeah say it’s the thing all the yeah you know how life is now everything has a has a uh what do you call it when you can’t say the word you got to say something euphemism everything’s got a euphemism so yeah there’s the commission on the buyer broker agreement you can’t talk about commission uh buyer commiss buyer agent commission on MLS on uh MLS or the listing contract ever again so so all this complication just so a few people can get $5 each and a couple of lawyers who aren’t very good can make a lot of money so when you come in please be aware we are absolutely unable we are forbidden it will be breaking the law Etc yeah forbidden forbidden ver verbot any word you can say any word you can the word is n o if you do not agree to sign unfortunately we will not be able to open one single door for you to take you on a tour hey don’t shoot the messenger we cannot open a door without a contract right we are not don’t shoot the messenger yeah and by the way all the other agents uh will tell you the same thing and if they tell you something different please call us so we can report them that’s right uh because this is the new law this is the way it is and you H you have to sign uh there aren’t a lot of you out there but for you guys who like to work with more than one agent at at a time even though only one’s going to get paid uh you’re not going to be able to do that anymore you’re going to have to have an exclusive agreement with one buyer it’s like a marriage you have to be committed you have to sign that marriage certificate yeah yeah and uh we would love to help you and unfortunately if we say I’m so sorry if you come in and you don’t feel comfortable signing it we are going to have to conclude our tour at that moment yeah um if we uh do not have you sign it and we take you in anyway we could be heavily fined yeah and I mean heavily fined uh and or lose our license yeah so obviously we’re not going to do that it’s just please understand that we’re not trying to be heavy on this um we’re not trying to make you feel uncomfortable um you know out of your element and making you sign something it is a national law yeah it will be across the entire United States and they will be looking very carefully for people who are not doing it right yes they do they do so don’t hold it against us uh we just wanted you to know when you come in and be prepared so that you know yeah okay I get it we’ll do this and then we can discuss how this compensation will work yeah usually we’ll do a sellers concession there’s a whole bunch of ways that most of it’s just gonna be it it’s my take on all of this is uh it’s really not going to change very much except for some words some additional paperwork that’s right uh it it’s it’s I don’t think it’s really going to affect the industry very much except to just make it a little more complicated a little a little more paperwork a little more paperwork so we just wanted to give you a heads up on that um and let you know what’s coming and in our little neck of the woods in Prescot uh the law starts August 17th but in Prescot we are enforcing all of this starting August 1st that’s pretty much Statewide in the state of Arizona because I think Phoenix is doing the same thing yeah we’ve upped our game we got all of our paperwork uh updated and changed to reflect the new law and so anyway um don’t shoot the messenger when we see you and we hope you understand and we’d love to take you out in a beautiful tour um take you in a bunch of houses but you should know before you even get in the car we’ll have to have that signed so I hope you understand we don’t make other rules it is what it is people we don’t make the rules we wish we didn’t have to ask you lawers making the world a better and safer place for all of us that’s right but we can’t wait to take you on a fabulous tour show you some great homes and what our town is is all about none of that has changed at all none of that has changed none of that has changed at all we good afternoon my friends hello peeps this is Diana Randall bro your friendly presc pickle pee person that’s us I am the pickle lady he’s the pickle man yes right yes yeah I guess I’m the pickle man a girin or whatever you want call there you go you’re not a girin you can’t know yeah here today to talk to you about squatters squatters yeah this is something that’s happening across the United States so we have to be very careful and um especially a lot of our buyers are coming in they’re buying a second home this should be a little something concerning but don’t worry in Arizona it’s not that uh big of an issue so what a squatter is is someone who for whatever however man they manage they get inside your home and they don’t leave so it could be a tenant you know that’s renting from you and then they stop paying rent and they just stay refuse to leave could be someone who broke into your home and just refuses to lead correct they become squatters and some states protect the rights of squatters it’s pretty scary so if you try to like turn off the electricity or the water to try to get them out force them out some you could go to jail that’s right yeah and so that the laws in these states protect the squatters and you need to know the laws in your area that’s right so it’s very costly too you have to hire attorneys you you know all all kinds of uh it can be a very prolonged legal process to evict people who technically have broken into and taken over your home that you’re paying taxes and a mortgage on but somehow they have all the rights so now that’s it’s state by state now the the state of uh New York has just gone back on this they had very comprehensive squatter rights legislation or whatever uh the governor has stopped that has said hey maybe this plan isn’t working so well yeah um these people are taking over illegally people’s properties that are owned by someone else New York does dumb things from time to time but usually they learn after a while and they fix it uh that’s what they did here I I I don’t know who thought it was a good idea to give rights to people who break into other people’s homes and take them over and take them over but they did uh and then they realize well this isn’t working because you’ve got you know honest people who are losing their homes and their their jobs and you know it destroys your life someone takes your home it can really yeah and this is mostly people who maybe it’s a vacant home or it’s a second home it’s a vacation home or a rental and I mean it can really recre Havoc with your whole life and your finances and everything else so one thing you should know because we have a lot of folks here who move to Prescot and they buy a second home here it will not be tolerated here we do not allow squatters it’s illegal here uh so don’t worry about that don’t fret uh your rights come first if you own it you’re paying taxes you’re paying mortgage uh people cannot illegally move in and take over your home here you you call we’re not going to do it you call the sheriff the sheriff that’s right will remove the people yeah it’s not going to be uh a Year’s prolonged process and people are destroying your property um so anyway we just want to share that because we do have a lot of second home people who come here the people who have a second home uh a rental home that goes unrented for a while or just go on vacation for a couple months yes uh you know that’s when the squatter’s hit and savy they’re very Savvy uh they even have YouTubers out there teaching squatters exactly how to do it that’s right uh they like home towns where there are a lot of second homes yes uh so it’s if if you’re in that situation you could be at risk so you need to know the laws in your local area and you need to protect yourself absolutely Ely so you should know feel safe and secure Arizona we don’t fool around we’re not going to allow it to happen it’s uh we don’t we don’t uh give any rights to squatters um we give the rights to the people paying taxes and paying their mortgage as it should be really makes you wonder it makes me wonder yeah so anyway don’t worry about that if you’re thinking about coming here for a second home or you travel a lot and it’s your main home but you’re gone for a long time um you’ll you’ll be pretty much protected here so anyway we just thought we’d share that with you because we keep hearing about it more and more in other states and it’s it’s pretty scary so hopefully New York will Le you know New York’s example will lead the way other states will do the same that’s right uh but as at this point it’s it’s there’s really a lot of uh uproar going on because a lot of people have been affected by this absolutely so we just wanted to share that with you good evening hello peeps this is Diana Randle bro your friendly realtor team and mostly friendly yeah I’m I’m always friendly you no not so much well I’m glad you ackowledge you should I’m honest he is honest grumpy sometimes he’s a little grumpy but for the most part he’s pretty fun yeah otherwise I wouldn’t stick around I got to have fun so one thing this is kind of silly but you should know because I come from New Orleans in the Deep South love it here low low humidity so you can pretty much have a good hair day every day every day look at this this is good hair day I set my hair it’s still fluffy it’s been eight hours I’ve been inside I’ve been outside um and I love it yeah because coming from New Orleans we just went for my daughter’s wedding we all were like immediately all hair has to go up because we know it’s gonna fall it’s too damp you can’t you know have a beautiful hairstyle and in two minutes it’s gone yeah so I know this is one of the most important things to think about when you’re moving where can I go and my hair looks good this is the town it is a very important thing it is very important you know of the important factors when you’re making a move yeah you know you don’t realize how nice it is so uh when we lived in Texas and before that Louisiana I used to keep my hair very very short because you just you know it’s like having a damp wet rag on your head you know when it’s really humid like so my whole life I I I always get my hair really really short and I got here during covid you know the barber shops were closed and everything so everyone was kind of letting their hair grow longer so that was probably the longest I ever let my hair grow and uh I just I realized I this actually feels pretty good yeah and when it got chilly you know I have something on my head I don’t have to wear he needs to he needs to protect that pain I’ll tell you do that Pate yeah thinning so we little thin little we got to keep them warm but now it’s growing in my neighbors thought I was having I got uh hair plugs or something and I was just no I just let my let my hair grow longer somebody’s like Rand did you get some hair plugs he’s like what yeah so so you you get used to it you start taking it for granted and we were down in Mexico the beginning of February of course it’s humid down there and I had the I got there within a day I’m like I really want to shave my head you know it’s just get that damp hair on your head feeling I’m like oh man I really could just take a take a shaver and just just and then we got back and you know no now it’s perfect here very very low humidity yeah so your hair looks great all the time which of course is the most important thing in life that’s that’s why it’s up there no doubt about it’s up there so it is kind of funny because when I come back from out of town and I sat my hair I’m like wow my hair’s really staying all day it’s one of the little perks perk just a little quiet perk you might not even know about might not know about it but if you have super super curly hair you’re going to love it here oh yeah it’s going to look great it’s gonna look great you won’t have to be doing a lot of straightening and all that you’ll be very happy so it’s just a little light story to share with you it’s our tip of the day if you like tips place to go is pickle 411.com that is our free information site whether you’re a buyer or seller somewhere in between we’ll have something there for you that will Amaze Astound inform educate for variates no I don’t know I’m making up I’m making up that’s a big word making up words now all right all free all free all complete you don’t have to pay for any of this people call us all the time and say you should charge for this but I we just we don’t when will we charge a dollar I don’t know I don’t do it because I don’t feel like collecting sales tax that’s that just not sales tax hey we just love to share our knowledge that’s right that’s what it’s all about absolutely this is a community service for all of you out there good days Good Hair Days where else are you going to get that except for here all right my friends thank you for listening to this silliness we sure do appreciate it and we would love to help you come and and set your hair and have a good day on a on a house tour you look like a million bucks that’s right so we look forward to hearing from you and can’t wait to hear from you and take you around our cute little town absolutely that’s what it’s all about hope to see you soon take care bye bye

hello hello hello we’re gonna we’re gonna share a little personal story personal story today about Randall and I mostly about me mostly about him um are you gonna put your picture up from the airport that was so funny yeah I could do that that was fun I can do that make sure you put that up because all right so for exposition uh we’ve got these two crazy dogs uh they are half German shepherd and half Belgian Shepherd or malinoa if anybody knows anything about shepher melon was you appreciate the situation we’re in yeah they high energy does not do it justice we’ve had any number of dogs these are by far the most energetic and the sweetest and the sweet so sweet but super protective they are good guard dogs but the funny thing is um you know we realized after this was a midlife crisis decision maybe one dog would have been good what were we thinking at our age to handle two of these um but hey we’re committed um we’re making it work we do love them they’re a riot but anyway we take them to run because our yard isn’t big enough yeah every morning we take them out we we we were going pretty regularly to the dog park you’ve SE we’ve had videos on the dog and we have a good time we still go there we had a good time we still go there from time to time but our our good friends Skip and Kathy uh they found just an open field out by the airport yeah and so we’ve been taking them out there and just big Open Fields and they they just love to run run and beautiful and Skip and Kathy will meet us there a few times with their dog Ranger is his name our dogs are Frankie and Molly so Frankie and Molly go there three of them go crazy together that’s right so Randle goes out and and we let him run and they’re having a good time and we’re throwing the ball and you know like normal people do and then our dog saw a deer yeah the prong horn so I don’t know if they’re antalope or a type of type of deer they’re like dandal opes I I don’t so that was it they were like oh so boom off they go and they can run like the wind they can cover a mile in five five seconds oh yeah it’s unbelievable so anyway so off they go so Randall’s call them they’re not coming so then they don’t come back so then Randall decides I’m gonna go find him he starts walking he could grows over the first Hill so I’m waiting like 25 minutes I’m like hm nobody’s coming back so I cross the hill and then I find the dogs and I take them back to the car I’m like well I’ll call Randall and him found him let’s go home he left his phone in the car so then I start walking the field I put the dogs on a leash this time and I start walking the fields looking for them can’t find them I mean for miles and miles and miles he’s nowhere to be found so after another 20 minutes then I start getting worried and I start thinking did he trip did he fall did he have a heart attack is he laying out in a field somewhere and I can’t see him so I called two good friends Skip and Randy again Randy Al who were kind enough to fly over there and see if they can walk the field too in the meantime another friend got wind they leave their golf game they come over and they’re about to walk the field too so this the purpose of the story is not only is it amusing that Randall was he keeps insisting he was not lost I was not lost I was not lost I knew where I was I knew how to get back I was just taking a long time because he was way there yeah the dogs managed a lot of Hills so every time you go up a hill there’s another Hill that you see that they might be hiding behind so he kept Crossing so I kept Crossing Hills until I ran out of Hills yeah I didn’t know that she already they snuck around so in the meantime we’ve got the posi out to look for him uh and then after 40 minutes we still couldn’t find him so they couldn’t find him either so I call the police so this is a shout out to first of all good friends good friends we have never by by the way all of these friends we met in preset we didn’t know any of these people so this is a shout out to Dear dearest friends if you were looking to move here and you’re scared like I don’t know anybody neither did we yeah but I will tell you these are probably some of the best friends we’ve ever had definitely some of the best um they people here in Prescot they just have your back yeah they do I mean and I don’t know if it’s because everybody’s retired but I mean the call went out everybody showed up to walk the Hills was looking for this idiot um and then the police came and the three of them came and they had Hightech you know binoculars and we found him they could spot him way off let’s just say uh as one of our friends said damn Randall you almost made it to Jerome and if you live here you know where Jerome is I did I kept walking until there were no more Hills and that’s a pretty long walk I probably walked U I’d say a couple miles so anyway it it made me feel good and I I want to give a shout out to the police too they were so professional they came out right away um they they have their own process because a lot of people get lost hiking and stuff so they have their own process they immediately got into it and we all start searching and looking and then we see him and then anyway they found him and Randall came walking back took a long time because he has a New Orleans stroll if you’re from New Orleans you know what that means they don’t walk fast you don’t walk fast when it’s humid and I’m like Rand oh God everybody’s waiting for you hustle but anyway um so we had a good laugh that day yeah we took everybody to lunch so we took everybody to lunch because it really honestly really touched our heart how our friends immediately came uh rallied around us went to help us went to find the police rallied came out right away um you just don’t see it that often anymore but that’s small town living folks we look out for each other and we care about each other and of course now we tease him unmercifully which is part of friendship as well yes they call me the wanderer now he’s Randall The Wanderer rall The Wanderer I have not had such a good laugh in all so we went we went to this restaurant there was a restaurant out by the airport that’s right which is where this field was and there was a picture on on the wall I don’t know where the picture came from and we don’t know who the guy is the joke is it’s me and and I’m by that uh by the uh the air strip the airst strip looking for the dogs that’s how far he made it that’s the joke so uh he will never live that down um we all still laugh about it hardcore and um but it’s just to let you know what a sense of community we have here yeah we really do a lot of people looking out for you everybody looks out and the police were delightful they they did a you know they wanted to make sure that I wasn’t I don’t know scile or whatever so they asked me who’s the president of the United States I said I’ve been gone a while I think it’s Camala Harris and I thought that was pretty funny so yeah I mean so good town good good response from your police uh shout out to you the police department of presc we cannot thank you enough I did write a personal letter for each uh agent who came out to help us and gave him some pickles gave him some pickles and we also dropped off some gift cards as a thank you um love to see the quick response and the care and also to our friends we just gave them lunch that’s all yeah but that was okay um and our love of course and our love so and we would do the same for them in a heartbeat so here’s a toast to them to thank you skip thank you Randy thank you Bob thank you Charlie thank you to the police officers we cannot thank you enough all’s well that ends well with this crazy one here and uh let’s just say she was really trying to kill me she doesn’t want I wasn’t trying to kill him I was no no please save me I want to kill you now she was coming out to kill me I’m going to she was going to turn the dogs on me yeah they called him in for a private interview no they didn’t are you afraid of the pickle lady is there anything you need to tell us she is she threatening you in any way I if you’ve seen is the movie Tombstone there’s a a reference to Prescot there so that movie is very popular in this town and there’s a famous line it says I’m your huckleberry yeah so when they finally found me I said he said I’m your I’m huckle bear so good town people we all have your back here so you should know that if you’re worried about moving you know it’s a it’s a good Community here um we really value neighbors and we really value our police and the police value us and they look out for you so nothing but good things to say about good friends and and a good police force so thank you and alls well that ends well the dogs were fine Mr bro was fine yeah none the worse for where none the worse so uh anyway we all got a good laugh out of that and the wonderer here is back so all right so if you’re worried don’t worry yeah we got you people have your back everybody has your back here all right my friends we just had to share that funny story and uh we hope you hello hello peeps Diana Randall bro here coming to you live from prit she’s pickle lady I am the pickle lady we are husband and wife team happy to help you if you buy or sell or moving here we do it all yeah we do and we’d love to help you every step of the way so we are here to talk about something h a client just told us about we’re like dang yeah I think Randy Allen told me this I’m not sure one of our think was he’s just a friend yeah he’s just a friend he’s not even a client he’s guy he figured out this little angle we thought we’d share it and we thought dang that’s smart so something you should know about presca a lot of people don’t know we are oddly centrally located to a lot of yeah destinations yeah yeah yeah right of everything an hour and a half hour 40 minutes to Sedona uh Flagstaff same same distance Phoenix Phoenix Vegas Vegas is 4our Drive Springs go I mean we are so great little day trips that are easy to take drive to get back but the cool thing that our friend Andy Allen shared thank you Randy is sometimes you can catch direct flights out of Vegas yeah so he said sometimes we go there the night before we drive over we have a nice evening in Vegas go see a show and then we catch our flight the next morning and catch a direct flight to wherever we’re going especially if it’s a long a lot of a lot of direct flight flights and long flights out of Vegas yes so as opposed to driving a couple hours to go down to Phoenix uh most of the places that we want to go we’ve we’ve got at least one stop so if you got a layover that’s at least two hours so you’re breaking even on your time instead of doing a layover you spend a couple hours extra in your car yeah it’s kind of six of one half dozen of the other but I tell you the winter that me that’s a big deal uh we do uh a lot of our vacationing in the winter that’s when real it’s a little slower and uh because of the weather layovers are treacherous I mean we we had a layover coming back uh from Mexico we went down to uh Mexico for vacation in uh early February and uh everything was going fine but uh there was a problem with the plane because we had a layover in La so we ended up having a 24-hour layover so hey if you’re going to do that if you can catch direct go direct yeah particular the winter yeah then you can have a good time and then just take off from there and catch a direct flight I am done you know you’re done yeah I am done with connecting flights yeah yeah I don’t know how going kicking in for that again particularly in the winter 100% so just wanted to share that with you it’s easy drive drive over to Vegas have a nice dinner catch a show fly out start your start your vacation in fine form that’s right now on the back end if you can do the same thing and spend the night in veg absolutely or just jump in the car take you a couple extra hours but but yeah you know again it’s only a couple hours more than driving from Phoenix and no layover that’s hours there who WIS to sitting in airport for two hours for the next leg of the trip I hate it I hate it absolutely so I’m all about direct flights if I can catch them I’m all about going to Vegas and catching a great show it’s all good it’s all positive things my friends things so keep that in mind if you’re here in Prescot now or you getting ready to come here and thinking about moving here hey we’ve got it all yeah we do we have fun our tip of the day if you’re in the tips place for you is pickle 411.com that is our free information site whether you are a buyer seller or somewhere in between there is something there waiting for you that will Amaze asound educate inform entertain tantalized that’s right and upsc I don’t know you got it you got it anyway we hope to see you maybe we all go to Vegas I don’t know absolutely all right take care and uh file that away that little tip Absol all right take care have a great great day bye

UV Bug Lights

Coming from New Orleans where cockroaches are the size of Volkswagens, we laugh at the so-called bugs here in Prescott. However, if you want your Prescott home to be absolutely free of flying insects, we have discovered a great little device to help you out, with no disturbing zapping sounds or having to clean fried bug carcasses later!

hello hello hello peeps top of the day to you top of the day to you Diana Randall bro here your friendly husband and wife realtor team here in pres Arizona she’s pickling that’s right getting ready to make some more pickles another five gallons came in but uh as I always say I’m always in production um but today we are talking about you know coming from the Deep South we’re used to tons and tons and tons of bugs yes so we moved here and for us this is basically a bug-free town yeah we tell people there are no bugs here and then they they complain yeah in point of fact there are some there are some so I have to say where we are from this is negligible but for other people they’re like well there are some bugs so Randle has hit upon something a UV bug lights UV bug lights he’s very excited this is a quick and easy tip so you have these things called UV bug lights and you plug them in and it has a UV light yep looks kind of purple bluish and uh it attracts bugs and on the on the light is a card on the side closest to the wall it’s sticky so the bugs go to get to the light like a moth to a flame like a mo there you go a mo a UV light I guess yes and then they get stuck on the other card and then every few months you pull the card you throw it away you drop in the other card you take off the adhesive and it it it it what few bugs you will have in your home in Prescot the UV light will take care of it you have even less it is L and every now and then we have certain Seasons where we have a little bit more like flies flies yeah it works like a charm it works like a charm uh also there’s a period where you get uh moths a few moths come in it attracts moths we get little gnat kind of they’re not gats but they’re something like a that little baby things that can be annoying they go right to that you it’s amazing so anyway he’s all excited let’s talk about the UV bug they’re cheap you know put one in all the big rooms Y and uh you will pretty much be bug free after that yep really really interest that’s it so especially if you’re showing your house or whatever so if you some of these like bug traps bug strips electrical things we you have these fried carcasses and stuff nothing like that the bugs adhere to The Far Side so you don’t see them at all that’s right it’s very private you’re bug catching yeah your your your your bug graveyard it’s hidden hidden hidden all right so that’s our little goofy tip of the day goofy tip of the day hope you appreciate it as much as we do in our house we love it yeah if you like tips a place to go is pickle 411.com there you’ll find our free information site whether you’re a buyer seller somewhere in between there’ll be something there waiting for you for that will Amaze astound and eliminate your bugs I’ll uh let’s do it let’s do it yeah all right nice to see you and I hope you have a great rest of your day bye bye

hello hello hello hello Peeps and happy happy New Year’s to you 2024 baby we here at the pickle team Randall and I would like to wish you the happiest and warmest wishes for the upcoming year here’s to good stuff happening for all of us it’s supposed to be a good year 2024 is a lucky number if you add up in numerology it adds up to eight which is infinity good for love good for good luck so that’s what I’m betting on how about you leap year leap year plus leap year always an auspicious event correct keep the uh the Mercury retrograde thing yeah I don’t know I don’t know I’m not that well versed and all of that but we wanted to wish you the happiest of New Year’s you’re probably getting this a few weeks into the month of January yeah but we’re recording it near the front you know that’s right got to edit and all that takes a little time so all of this is uh you get it a few weeks after we actually film so here we are we want to talk about 20124 we’re super excited everyone was gloom and doom about 2023 it wasn’t bad folks not so much it was not bad at all yeah prices were very stable y uh we’re back to a buyer Market uh inventory was low but you we managed to find some good homes for our guys yep uh so brought in some new blood in the city lots of really nice people great year and no regrets they were glad they were scared of the interest rate but they made the jump anyway yeah they know that they can refinance so they didn’t let it hold them back and now they’re living the dream and our beautiful town of Prescot yep so it’s uh pretty exciting times yeah a lot of Gloom at the front of 2023 as every we recall we predicted that none of that would come to pass and it has not yep uh more gloom and doom for 2024 or what are people saying I don’t even know well they’re a little more encouraging because interest rates are dropping which is good yeah so we’re super excited about that so if you’re contemplating you know Now’s the Time our folks who did it in 2023 no regrets yeah don’t put your life on hold yeah grab that gold ring go for it yeah in terms of interest rates so um the expectation is that interest rates will go lower uh for 2024 what is low what is not low is two and a half okay yeah yeah I think that’s over those days are over and all indications are that uh us of a certain age tends to be people interested in presc it uh we’re not going to see that again U and the reason why we saw it is that we had lots of baby boomers who were not retired yet uh they were making lots of money and they were investing lots of money well that created a supply a very large supply of investment money and that drives down interest rates uh now most of the Baby Boomers are retired uh when they retire they stop investing so aggressively they get very conservative uh they start consuming money uh so those funds will no longer be there and that means Supply goes down that means your interest rates go up so I I would say you know you know a healthy economy is five or six uh with a few points of inflation and it looks like that’s exactly where we’re heading so that that’s actually really broad picture here that’s very healthy very healthy so uh if you’re waiting for two and a half then you’re gonna you’re not gonna make it don’t yeah don’t give up on life waiting for two and a half yeah move forward get out there make your move here our cost of living is amazing in presc your money will go much farther than you know some of the other places uh people are moving from California Washington Oregon you’ll be pleasantly surprised yes how far your dollar goes yes here in Arizona so we’ll have some other areas of the country that might suffer um so you’ll hear bad news about real estate Phoenix may be one of those areas um I don’t a few other other areas that got built up really fast uh with markets that are much more sensitive to interest rates um that won’t be presc uh presc is a relatively small town we are a very viable alternative to all of the uh retirement destinations that people talk about um so I I I just don’t see anything happening in presc for the foreseeable future we we’re just totally leveling off and holding strong holding strong holding strong plus we’ve got amazing weather Four Seasons uh you don’t have to worry about hurricanes you don’t have to worry about fires you don’t have to yeah well we can get a little baby little had a baby earthquake we had a baby earthquake supposed to have one every 50 years and it’s in Chino Valley which about 20 miles north of here yeah and I think it was a three or two and a half or something so I mean this is the time you want to try something new come to our town interest rates are starting to drop everything else is great here you might enjoy a new a I think a lovely real estate team here in Prescot lovely in the sense that we’re good at what we do maybe not always the most attractive but well we try to have fun we try to make this as stressfree and easy as possible for you we trying to be attractive it’s I’m not I don’t really care about that I’m trying to move away from that did you not pick up on that by the way she’s the pickle lady she’s prescy pickle lady and as she mentioned I am her psychic I’m trying to steer him away and he brings me right back no you got to follow my lead okay Follow My Lead follow your I’m steering you away from that what are we talking about I don’t know if you’re going to leave you need to know where we’re going we’re going me lose my my we are here to talk about whiny cats whiny cats and you’re not going to believe what this is about yeah it’s not about whiny cats it’s actually a lovely lovely Winery out in Chino valleyin Valley yes and it’s actually called whiny cat cat w i NE y you get the play on that cats and don’t they also like rescue cats too yeah they do they rescue cats and I think some of the they they uh uh some of their funds go to the care of of cats so we’ve had several friends I’m going to give a shout out to Lori and John and uh Jim and Laura yeah they uh have rolled Us in rolled Us in R Us in that’s the word I word they have roped Us in us in a couple times a couple times and they said you got to go try this place whining CS I’m like never heard of it um these of course folks are are luckily retired so they have a much better life than us yeah so they discover these great things and they tell us all about it they cut us in and then they cut us in and they’re kind enough to invite us and we go out and have a great time so whiny cats recently had a big event and you could uh buy some tickets and they had a battle of the bands and you sit under these gorgeous giant trees were they cotton Woods I don’t know what kind trees beautiful shady and they set up tables and you can have a reserve table and this time you could have they they provided lunch but most of the time if you go out there just to listen to the live music they have wine and ciders and beers and you can bring your own food yeah bring your own food so you can bring your own food your own Sherie boards and just sit out there under the beautiful trees and enjoy the weather and great music yeah and dancing some really great bands yeah so we were tickled uh to be invited with the cool kids yeah John and Laura Lorie or the the cool kids Cool Kids yeah they’re always out there partying and teaching us new things so um this was a good one without your shair absolutely right down the road at Chino you don’t have to drive far not a far drive I don’t know maybe a 30 minute drive yeah but it’s just a a delightful time just to while away the afternoon especially now that fall is here it’s just beautiful you need a little break get away from it all be outside in nature whiny cats whiny cats yeah great little I mean who would think that you’d have this great Winery out in the middle of Chino but there it is try the cider try oh I love The Cider with lavender yeah good stuff so we have a good time and of course we love hanging with those folks they’re good friends and um they paid us you know they said would you mention our names I said okay what do you want from us so no they didn’t do that no they didn’t what are you talking about he’s like are you serious no you shouldn’t know no no I no but we appreciate a good invite cuz we need a break every now and then and it’s great this was a good one yeah it was good very relaxing just very just hanging out and all Outdoors yeah was a beautiful day under in the shade yeah some really good music so we just want to give a shout out to whiny catsy cats plus they they they do a lot of good for the homeless kitty cats homel kitty cats so we’re happy to be uh part of that too yeah absolutely so we want to Folks coming from places with tent cities or aggressive panhandlers often want to know: what's the situation here for the unhoused population? Today's discussion will enlighten you on the circumstances and services surrounding the issue of homelessness in Prescott.

good afternoon oh peeps right in my ear peep get away Diana R bro she’s the preset pickle lady we’re Realtors here in preset Arizona coming at you with more stuff more stuffs more stuff some of our big questions we get from clients who come in and we help them uh find a home is they have a lot of questions about Healthcare which we address a few episodes back and also homelessness homelessness which is a very unfortunate thing especially since coid has happened I I think a lot of people who were already kind of on the poverty line lost their jobs during coid and cannot get kind of back on their feet they’ve lost their Apartments so um people are very concerned yeah a lot of areas there really is no plan no uh so so the homeless populations are growing more and more uh in some communities it’s gotten to the point where it has become uh a safety issue and a health issue and and a health issue uh so a lot of people come to preset and that’s uh depending on where they’re coming from if they come from a place where there’s a lot of homelessness and the issues that come with that that’s one of the questions they ask us and they’re very concerned um and cuz they don’t want to jump out of the frying pan and to the fire um they want to make sure that our town has that situation under control and we do we have a lot of services um we try to really help people reach out to them um get them safely off the street and into some housing um we try very very hard yes so you will not find a lot of tent cities along the streets or or in major roads or uh in Parks or anything like that uh I’m sure there are some areas but they try very hard to reach folks and get them the help that they need so if you’re thinking about coming here and you’re like am I just going to be having the same experience um where there’s so many people who need help yeah um not so much here not so much yeah we do try very hard uh there is a little bit more than uh homeless as I said because we’re kind of coming out of coid and people are trying to get their footing again yeah and so there is a lot of services here it’s very important to our town to reach those folks and try to help them so if that is a major concern for you um our town is pretty Progressive yeah um I am not going to tell you you’ll never see a homeless person or an unhoused I should say um unhoused is the proper term and and so please forgive me if I’m saying the wrong thing but um we try to really address that and and help those folks and get them into some services so the the homeless community that we have here you all communities have their own cultures and their own Norms uh in a lot of areas in a lot of communities the homeless people are very uh militant you know they are cost people uh they go out of their way to create nuisances um those of you who lived in those kinds of cities you know what I’m talking about our homeless people here are not like that maybe it’s because our community tries so hard to give them Services uh but I have not really experienced that at all no no nothing aggressive um so we uh try to show compassion and kindness and care and uh I know the town is always thinking of other options that they can do what buildings can they buy what’s something that we can do to house the unhoused and um it’s important to people here yeah so anyway we just kind of wanted to elay some of your fears about that yeah and uh let you know that Prescot is a loving town here and we have a lot of compassion especially for um some of the unhoused veterans yes um which there are quite a few and so yeah they’re over represented a lot of end up for one reason or another end up homeless that’s very important to us here to try to reach those people and and really help them and help them get uh get some get back on their on their feet yes so that is our little story today about the uh definitely a frequently Asked question so we it is so we thought it was important to talk about that and uh let you know what it’s like here in our town absolutely okay so thank you for listening and we hope this kind of answers some of your questions about that and we hope to see you soon uh the square is getting already lit up for the holidays for Christmas this is the time the weather’s beautiful come see us all right we’d love to help you when your next steps here take care bye

need it I just did it so that I could tell you about it no that’s not true I have had h i I can’t tell you how many colonoscopies I’ve had yes I it started we got a little issue yeah it started when I was about 12 yeah it’s so I my family has a history of the kind of cancers that you know lead to colon cancer so by the I I was in my 30s I think and I st no not that’s it no but anyway first one so and that is a legitimate concern people coming here yeah and we just want you to know uh both of us um our own personal experiences and some of our experiences of some friends who are a little bit older um health care is evolving and growing here um uh as the town is growing so is the health care um they’re making some changes uh Dignity Health Care came in and brought over bought out I should say the yapay regional hospital yeah they are actively working on getting doctors on hand you know enticing younger doctors to come and stay um we’re working on it it’s a process and that’s true in most areas of the country most areas of the after Co you know providers it’s it’s getting harder and harder and U you know the money’s not as good as it used to be and blah blah blah it’s it’s hard and our little town is uh doing its best just like a lot of other areas uh the interesting thing about a colonoscopy is I mean from the standpoint of evaluating Health Care is that I know this procedure really well I’ve done it a lot I did it uh before dignity this is the first time I had it done after dignity yes so this allows me to kind of compare the two uh this is a procedure that you schedule so there’s no excuse you know if you in a car AC accident or you know in something unforeseen and you’re in the emergency room well you’re kind of at the you’re subject to whatever is happening at the time colonoscopy it’s routine it is scheduled so it should feel routine having done it a couple of thousand times I can tell you A lot of times it’s not routine I have found myself waiting in rooms that have millions of dollars of equipment waiting for oh we don’t have this piece we don’t have this nurse we don’t have blah blah blah blah blah if you do a routine procedure it should feel routine like they have complete Command of the situation they’ve got their system down they have their system down and let me tell you this was the best I think I’ve ever had yeah in terms of just having their act together yep it ran smooth just very smooth he literally was in and out no pun intended he no sooner was was back there then he was back out they had it very systematized we were very pleased with the service the hospital even sent him a real a little note a little note how many times you get that you have a procedure done thank you and uh everyone signed it so you had the the the welcoming nurse I don’t know what they call her but she was very nice her name’s Jenna the anesthesiologist yeah uh signed this he was very nice uh the GI the uh the PN I’m not even sure what a PN was and then the recovery nurse so yeah we were very impressed uh with the systems that they had in place in and out no problem and so we just wanted to share with you our own personal experiences I know there’s a lot of hesitation like it’s a small town are we going to be taken care of the answer is yes yes um we uh there’s also a great Breast Care Center here that a lot of people go to we get you know 3D mammograms and Cutting Edge stuff there I’ve been been very satisfied with that we’ve had several friends with heart conditions that have been happy with their cardiologists here um and the good thing about living in presc is we’re only an hour and a half away from some of the most Cutting Edge research hospitals in the United States we’ve got the Mayo Clinic the American Cancer Centers Anderson MD Anderson has now opened a branch here in Phoenix so you know if any anything God forbid major really happens you need the best of care you we’ve got it like you know an hour and a half away um so it’s all doable and we’ve had unfortunately a lot of friends who had to go down there they just plan their schedules they go down sometimes they spend the night and come right back up so it’s all doable don’t let the health care scare you away we are up and coming we’re growing um and right down at down the hill as they say is the big the big guns if you need it and we lived in we lived right outside of Houston uh for 17 years and the same was true then yeah uh you know if I had developed cancer I would have been at MD Anderson and which was about an hour and half an half drive yeah so it’s about the same you know so don’t let it scare you we just kind of wanted to share with you our own personal experiences one more getting back to the whole routine thing okay this is something I have experienced a a lot of times and I was delighted to to see that they didn’t do this so you wait for your procedure you wait you wait you wait they put you in an operating room that’s that’s uh not being used and stash you away you get the same questions asked a thousand times and then they don’t remember the answers uh none of that none of that and the thing especially that annoys me is you wait you wait you wait and then you are out cuz you know they put you under general anesthesia and then somebody is waking you up cuz they need the bed they’re trying to get rid of it they hustle you out they hustle you out roll up they did not hustle me out they waited until I just kind of came to and then the nurse in the recovery room comes over and she just says you okay how you doing you know how you feeling you want some water you know and then you know 10 15 minutes later they they uh they brought me the transport to get out and it was very the door yeah and one other thing I should mention maybe I shouldn’t mention it with my wife in a room but I have to say this oh I have to say this the nurses that work in GI are gorgeous I I thought I was being punked oh all these beautiful women are there to you know help me have a scope I’m like oh my God how embarrassing for you yeah it’s like obviously I couldn’t make a move you know what I’m saying I felt very vulnerable yeah all these young things just beautiful I don’t know why beautiful girls going to that kind of work but there you go I need to cut that yeah no that’s staying in so shout out to the beautiful nurses that do GI over at they have never recovered they’re still talking about this experience yeah they’re still talking about me I’m still talking about them I think I’ve got a note I’ve got a note know I I that’s not for real I don’t get your hopes up I don’t think they were that impress although you know the recovery nurse and her name is uh oh gosh her name’s Sarah she seemed very impressed that I had no pups you know men my age that’s a that’s a big selling point no I have no pup so this one’s pup free ladies po free po free he’s available up free P up free he’s available in hello folks hello peeps hello and hello and hello yeah it’s us this is Diana Randall bro here coming to you from Prescot Arizona we are your local Friendly helpful husband and wife real estate team um we work hard for you and we’re here to talk to you give you a good Public Service Announcement Public Service Announcement about static electricity static electricity so as you may know uh it the uh humidity is low here which is really nice it makes for uh nicer Summers makes for nicer Winters uh you know you’re not constantly sweating I I really have come to embrace low humidity in fact last year we went back to Louisiana where we’re from and she and I both were like oh my God I’m wet you it was just horrible the downside there is a down low humidity is static electric static electricity so for all of you coming here God forbid if you have Pacemaker a Pac maker no I’m kidding or any kind of any kind of Health qu you might you might recharge yourself a little more than you think no I’m kidding it doesn’t do that that’s a joke that’s a joke that’s a joke but uh because it is dry here sometimes you’ll be walking with your shoes on carpet or something you get a little static going and then you touch something and it will wake the hell out of you well if you’re not used to it so we’ve been been here now for what seven years or something and I get shock I still get shocked all the time but you get used to it you know the first time sound it makes a loud sign sometimes you even see a spark you know if it’s kind of dark you’ll see a spark and uh it takes a little getting used to at the beginning it was a little unnerving like why why is there so much stat why I never had I haven’t ever had this much static before it’s just the weather here just the dryness the low humidity it’s the perfect St it scares you more than anything else it’s not really uh painful but if you’re not expecting it it’s it’s like someone saying boo you know you seem like geez I’m shocking myself left and right I’m shocking myself left and right you’ll get used to it welcome to preset yeah it’s part of the deal it’s an Electrifying Town electrifying Town town in more ways than one yeah so when you come here and you get a little jump every now and then it’s a little extra something put your little pep in your step yeah makes you feel alive it’s good and some people here need to have a little static yeah if yeah yeah that’s true if you uh well I guess I was going to say if you’re working with a computer they used to tell you you know try to ground yourself but now most most of the time if you’re working with a mouse that doesn’t have a cord you’re okay yeah if you have like a laptop you might want to ground yourself ground yourself ground yourself be grounded you’re going to get a little Get grounded and nipped nip a little a little static you want to nip your computer we’ve never that’s never happened to us no but uh I would imagine that’s really the only the only thing I can think of that might be significant because of static electricity so when you move here you might be like wow I’m just getting shocked left and right it’s normal yeah um it’s par for course here don’t be alarmed um just count it as a little blessing when you’re tired you know wake you up a little bit wake you up a little bit and it always makes me laugh because he jumps and makes a sound and nothing makes me laugh more than when people get hurt I don’t know why it it’s always hits me harder I don’t know why I guess I’m a drier person than you are I don’t know but I always seem to get shocked and she always seems to be the one laughing yes it is it it it can be kind of funny so that’s just a very important PSA a little PSA we thought we’d share with you don’t get don’t be upset it’s an electrifying Town electrifying town it’s part of life here so if you need Buying Or Selling Home any help buying or selling a home please call us we are happy to help you happy to show you you around and you can reach us at well you can reach us on our website we have a free information site available at pickle 411.com whether you a buyer seller somewhere in between there’s something there waiting for you that will Amaze a stound electrify electrify yes good form I like how you you know tie that work that in would that clever yes you Loop that back that was good that is a loop back that was a loop back good job good job good job there it is all right cheers to you cheers to me all right have a wonderful rest of your day nice to see you bye Wind Down bye
