which shaken my fellow friendly pickle peeps what happened to hello hello four hello hello hello yeah that’s what gets me going hello hello that’s a little disturbing [Laughter] and very very sad yeah i know all right she’s the preschool pickle lady my name is randall bro we are real estate agents here in prescott arizona and uh we are at the plaza bandstand on the square that’s right underneath this beautiful bandstand yeah you can kind of see up with the yeah there you go it’s really coming at you and right behind us is whiskey row so we thought we’d say a few words about the infamous whiskey row that’s right yes press gets answered to bourbon street well yeah a little bit not quite but uh one block of it anyway one half block right yeah so yeah if you come here we have a lot of friends who like to honky tonk as we call it that’s their favorite thing to do they come down here and uh enjoy all the music that whiskey row has to offer have a couple of drinks dance honky tonk and then head home and sleep it up go home at nine no i’m kidding no actually uh uh whiskey road is open kind of late so uh one of the few places that is openly and there’s not a whole lot around so they can make lots of noise yeah and nobody complains and so this is a good time to kind of come and have some fun some of our favorite places here there’s uh the bistros over there there’s a whole bunch of honky tonk bars down here just a lot of fun and really really good music i mean you would be surprised i mean it’s for people think we’re such a small town we’ve got some really good musicians yeah we do we do they have uh sort of alternative jazz they have traditional plastic rock and country western and the whole thing it’s just a lot of fun a lot of dancing a lot of you know you can kind of let your hair down here absolutely and have a good time so if you’re looking at honky tonk and you love music and you want to have a nice time this is the place to come place to come man safe yeah absolutely safe totally safe yeah totally fun yeah get a bunch of friends have a couple of beers do some line dancing yeah i don’t know i like these i like blind bags yeah it can well especially they have a lot of beers the more drinks i have the better the line dancing i can never remember the routine well i don’t i don’t care if i don’t care i just want to have fun i’m just like oh we turning right i turn left that’s cool that’s cool everybody embraces you accepts you yeah i guess so but anyway just wanted to tell you if you’re big into music and and you think is that small town is that going to have some culture some things for me to do yes yeah well amazing amazing music here and you’ve been known from time to time you head out that’s right caused a little trouble possibly trouble i wouldn’t i wouldn’t say that cause a little trouble fall asleep at the table and they get mad at me that’s more like it yeah but anyway i hope that you come and visit prescott and enjoy all the fun that uh whiskey row has yeah absolutely waiting for you fun is just waiting for you absolutely all right have a good evening and we hope to see you here in prescott yeah except you got to tell them where to find oh yes i forgot that’s very important you can reach me at 713 3 or mr oddly enough you can find the preschool pickle lady at prescopiclady.com relocation center that’s pretty cool stuff check it out get some good information yeah we’d love to meet you come on bye yeah take care have a good night bye

hello hello hello we’re heaps this is randall and diambra that’s uh your local hopefully favorite realtors yeah we should be by now i hope yeah we sure try hard we’re working we’re working this is your uh we’re your preschool pickled peeps yeah this is the preschool lady with me here that’s right along with our other our other pickled lady part of our pickle lady brigade janice erickson that’s right not drinking this uh for this episode it’s too early in the morning it’s too early in the morning yeah too early in the morning so we thought what a beautiful day let’s go down to the square so here we are here we are uh we’re actually kind of by the platform i wanted you to see they come here sometimes to play summer pops so this whole square the symphony will come and play and everybody brings their lawn chairs yeah yeah evidently we’re sitting on kind of like like a stage or something here i don’t know there’s some statues behind us and the statue back there oh cowboy got a good shot of that horse’s butt it’s awesome awesome bud anyway so it’s just one of the many little fun time summer activities they have here a lot of people like to come to the square and see that yeah but we’re really here to talk to you about kind of early to bed early it’s bad early to rise right so a little known fact about randall and i we used to be major major night owls night owls yeah we’re both from new orleans i used to pick when we were dating i used to pick her up at like 9 30. yeah you know that would be out till three in the morning not anymore not anymore and i think it has something to do you’ll find a lot of people here it’s like let’s meet for dinner sounds great let’s go what time are we going i’ll meet you at 4 30 or 5. centers early at first i was like i’m too young for this because i’ll tell you what i think it’s because we’re in the mile high city i don’t know i don’t know if it’s the altitude or i don’t know but people like to go to bed early here and get up early in the morning and i we were never that way our total body chemistry has totally changed so now i embrace i’m like oh hell yeah 4 30 for dinner sounds perfect and in bed at eight even better yeah right absolutely it’s kind of whack-a-doodle yeah but i don’t know if it’s the clean crisp air that i’m breathing or that it’s the higher altitude um i don’t know but i’m okay with it yeah you just i’m now a morning person i don’t know what happened to me today i woke up it’s like 3 30 in the morning yeah and i’m like i think i’ll get some work done because i’m up i if you had told me that i would be that way there would be some place on the earth that would make me that way i would have laughed at you because i used this when i was a kid i’d sleep until three in the afternoon i know who would have ever thought yeah so people who know us way back in the day are like we didn’t want to call too early and i’m like it’s perfectly fine i’m up i’m up with i’m up with the roosters yeah guys not necessarily a function of getting older i think in part it’s just a function to come in a preschool i think it’s just so if you want to stay a night out well you might want to reconsider because your body clock will totally change when you yeah you won’t have a try i mean i didn’t do it by choice it just kind of happened i mean if you while you’re in the process of transition there there are places that do stay open uh and they’re all over here it’s uh whiskey road you see over there and that’s where all the the late night stuff is going on they’re usually open to two or three in the morning so if you want to do that you can uh but we would suggest to you that you probably won’t yeah over time you probably start getting up early in the morning with us so exactly we’ll see you for breakfast just exactly great breakfast here all over great great brunches that you can go have so just when you pass on that little tidbit your body clock might change yeah with the higher altitude yeah but you’ll still love it here they’ll still love it and you’ll still enjoy the pops here in the summer when they come play in the square so anyway where can they find your first plastic hello hello hello hey pete hello randall bro how are you i am good how are you governor i’m doing okay governor hat on yeah that’s right well good morning good morning i am diane breaux and this is my better half randall grove here in the beautiful square of downtown prescott yeah uh we are in august but we’re wearing our winter garb drinking coffee here yeah because we wanted to explain to some of you who think i can’t move to arizona it’s too hot yeah it’s desert yeah it’s broiling you are wrong you are wrong there are some sections as in phoenix and tempe that yeah has that terrible 120 115 yeah crazy weather but we’ve done the summer challenge man we’re dressing up for winter weather that’s right in our summer challenge in august summer challenge here in the square of recipe rescue the downtown square right by the courthouse so you can’t you can’t do this in phoenix no if you did this in phoenix or las vegas in august you’d burst into flames you’re right yeah so we decided let’s put our coats on so people who who just think arizona is too hot to move to we want to show you it’s not especially here in prescott we have four true seasons so here we are august 29th uh it’s 8 o’clock in the morning we are in full winter gear not even breaking the sweat not even breaking news it’s a lovely split 70 degrees right now yeah i made 75 sometimes early in the morning it’s about 8 a.m but it will get a little hotter later on today but it’s that much hotter yeah no it’s not yeah so here we are in in arizona and crossfit as well yeah yeah and it’s just not what you think when you think of arizona we have just the perfect perfect weather even our summers aren’t that hot nope right our winters are great our fall is even better yeah absolutely and spring is just lovely yeah so when you’re thinking i don’t want to move to arizona too hot too arid to this to that look at all the greenery around us just not we’re not not here in prescott no not at all it’s the perfect four seasons absolutely so we’ll do a winter challenge too yeah i don’t know how much how many clothes we can take off oh yeah nobody wants to see that but yeah i won’t be in a bathing suit yeah like you said nobody would want yeah yeah i work in the region my love you can reach me at 713-302-1964 or find us online at prescottpicklelady.com you’ll find a link there to our prescott relocation center lots of good information about prescott and moving here and making a new life for yourself so come to prescott don’t think about vegas and phoenix and and florida and all that too hot yeah you can’t bundle up in august there like we are absolutely come to prescott and enjoy beautiful living and great great weather all right have a good day bye

hello hello hey peeps randall and i am bro she’s a lady i am i get to hang out with her it’s one of the perks one of the perks of being a realtor he doesn’t know he doesn’t always think that but yeah don’t be fooled by that especially when i fail at technology which is a lot yeah is that so nice i didn’t marry her for her technical savvy is that a word savvy i think that is i don’t know i don’t know i don’t know okay we’re outside our office here i have a little balcony that overlook i’m gonna see if you can see the square behind us here yeah down that street it’s right to the square in the square yeah to the square in good times yeah we’re still having fun making it work absolutely all right so today what we wanted to talk about was uh a lot of times we get texts emails phone calls i hate snakes i’m scared of scorpions yeah what’s the story i hear uh i was about to say alaska not alaska i know what’s wrong with me i don’t know we have friends yeah we do no but they’ll call and ask about arizona i hear they’re just written with all the critters all the time oh yeah i’m here to tell you that’s that we first one’s the snakes right so let’s do the snakes correct so we have the diamondbacks i’m not a sports guy what are the diamond banks basketball i’m not even sure i don’t know we uh we’ve been here three years we’ve had a few snakes none of them rattle snakes just like snakes the ones that eat the the mice and the bad so yeah i’ve never had a you know a diamondback yeah no i’ve never had an escape from that or anything it’s all good of course you know we’re all god’s creatures yeah um we cannot say unequivocally 100 you’ll never find one here um but i myself have not run in across one i go hiking i’m on the i haven’t run across one on the path um but it’s not like we’re we’re tons of snakes no i mean there are snakes all over the world so we can’t give you a hundred percent guarantee separate except for ireland ireland is supposed to not have sleep i’m not sure what that has to do with it but well i want to work that in i don’t want to speak falsely that the whole world doesn’t have something oh you heard that yeah that is rude somebody live in the present all right yeah but anyway all right scorpions scorpions same thing uh i’ve lived here three years i’ve never seen one in or outside of my home no um it’s not like they’re crawling around here owning the place at all no no you won’t see them uh again are they here sure is it a chronic problem like cockroaches no which is another thing no roaches and no mosquitoes oh my god the mosquitoes here are so stupid like you have one you could just go and kill them yeah they are amazingly stupid coming from the south yeah i mean you’re just eating a lot eating a lot it’s very refreshing to sit out on your deck people here think they have here yeah they’re mosquito they think they have bugs here yeah so they’ll put like screens on the windows like why do you bother you have no bugs here it’s amazing delightful absolutely delightful which is your usual favorite one i love the word but i’m going to adapt adopt it not adapt it i’m going to adopt that word it is very uh delightful so tarantulas i have seen maybe once a year i see tarantulas in some areas they like to uh they like to get on asphalt they don’t see them on the road yeah uh i have seen two since i’ve been here so on average maybe about once a year you’ll see a tarantula in an area where there’s asphalt and there’s not a lot of traffic and on the road just sitting there it’s not like they’re hanging out in your house yeah we’re not in the home or anything yeah so you never fear coming to prescott arizona that’s a hot rod never fear coming to prescott arizona about really lethal fatal scary critters they’re not that common and just for good measure we don’t have earthquakes either yeah we get that too we have earthquakes we have water we don’t yes that’s another one yeah yeah we’ll do one on water yeah no lack of water no lack of water the water comes from the tap here you turn it on it comes out we do not have earthquakes not to say that we could hold on another another motorcycle yeah not to say that you couldn’t but uh we don’t get tremendous i mean we are not god we can’t predict at all we try hard but no hurricanes no hard things just nice weather yeah nice beautiful four seasons with no hello hello hello hey peeps this is randall and diane bro he’s the pickle lady and i’m the i don’t know pickle person he’s pickle pickle man pickle pickle man um we have our sunglasses on because we’re standing directly directly in the sun so uh but anyway we’re having a great time we’re here at the biggest dog park here in prescott yeah huge and we’re having kind of look pan around here there’s some dogs and some people and people with dogs and all kinds of huge yeah yeah we would love to come here with our dogs we have one dog that behaves yeah one dog that absolutely does not she does not get along well with others not play well i should say not to sound like one of those moms but i think the others just don’t get along with her she’s misunderstood she’s largely misunderstood she is misunderstood her name is stella and the good one we have is frankie lou beautiful dogs yeah but uh but sadly we can’t do the dog park no but i wanted to show this to you guys yeah um and like you have well-behaved dogs or if you move here and get a well-behaved dog you can come here what i wanted to tell you was uh how prescott it’s a huge huge huge dog community yes everybody loves dogs yes everybody has a dog here yes um you go to eat at any restaurant and you’re on an outdoor patio they’ll probably have their pockets a couple of pups you come here to the dog park they got a huge i mean a huge piece of land yeah for the big dogs and then a smaller area for the smaller pups yeah they do and kind of kind of an area i don’t know if you can see it over there but they have a place that uh it’s kind of cordoned off for the smaller dogs although most people have small dogs don’t bother yeah they don’t they don’t follow the blue i know and their little dogs are the ones that come those are the ones yeah no offense to anybody out there but you know it’s true it’s true you can’t deny it you can’t deny it you can’t deny you know it’s true but it’s also cool they got a lot of stuff that the dogs can run on and have fun and climb on and jump off of and water and it’s it’s just great it’s right it’s located at the end of willow creek across from finley toyota there you go so for those of you who are new you pass by the fry shopping center and come on why do i have some shade on me but i do strange i feel like i’m in solar eclipse interesting yeah i don’t know but anyway um nature’s nature is a phenomenon yeah it is but don’t feel bad for our dogs though because uh we take care of them we uh we walk them quite a bit and uh we also ride them around they love to go for a ride yeah go like go for a ride so we have a dog that is devoted to the dogs it’s our dog car and uh at least twice a day in the morning in the afternoon they’ll come by us and start jumping around because they know it’s time for their run time for a ride so we take them for a ride everybody knows our car because it’s a black car and we have two black dogs they stick their heads out their heads and everybody’s like they’re going to pickle people again so you see crazy people driving around with their dogs hanging out the side of a black car that you know that’s us that’s us but we wanted to tell you when you move here in case you didn’t know about this great dog park you can come here and meet people here as well they’ve got a lot of chairs and people sit around and chit chat and there’s kind of a little dog family uh friendly community yeah yeah so please make a make a trip out here with your pup if you’ve got a good one yeah people here are super friendly dogs are usually friendly and uh it’s just a good place to kind of come enjoy a beautiful day like today beautiful beautiful day so all right that is it for the dog parks and the dog-loving city of prescott so where can they find you my love you can find me at 713-30 or on the web at prescottpicklady.com where you find a link to our prescott relocation center all kinds of great information about the city and where to find things and stuff about buying houses and everything where to get your hair cut yeah yeah yeah anyway so good good good information there so check it out happy to be here today and spread the news about this great dog park you guys have a good day bye

hello hey peeps how’s it going out there yeah it’s going well here yeah we are so happy to be celebrating the start of spring absolutely here in our beautiful prescott and we are at uh one of our new favorite places mark’s beer garden yeah absolutely so we’re not drinking wine we’re drinking uh a little german beer drinking a local uh hard cider made locally here prickly pear prickly pear hard cider and it is delicious yeah it’s also a strangely pink color it’s well it’s prickly pear yeah it makes sense but anyway mark was cheers to you mark was kind enough to uh let us come shoot and his beautiful beer garden out here garden beautiful it’s off of iron springs uh we highly recommend it it is fantastic good food too good eats great time for an open uh open place because it’s spring it’s bright right and he has sprung darts here and corn hole here you can come here and have a great time german beer yeah yeah you did it but anyway let’s get back to the task at hand i am diane and this is randall bro she’s the pickle lady i am your local prescott pickle lady or sometimes we’re just the press kit pickle peeps peeps it’s hard to say though yeah pickle peeps pickle eater yeah people um and we are just very excited now that spring has sprung and uh the market is warming up yep we’ve got lots and lots of people coming in um ready to start that next chapter and uh we are happy to help you yeah absolutely and so what we’re super psyched about is interest rates suddenly have gone low yeah we were told at the beginning of this year all the lenders were saying oh you know it’s going to be five five and a half six as high as six and a half by the end of the year and of course uh interest rates immediately started to drop so yeah just goes to show you nobody really knows what it is nobody knows but it’s good for you guys out there who are thinking about it get in now we just closed one at 4.125 that’s crazy that’s crazy crazy that’s crazy and the lowest it’s been in a while so if you are really thinking about making a move that’s a good time now is the time that’s good get in here get it while you can lock up those super low rates before they start creeping absolutely a lot of new listings coming on people put their homes on spring is uh home selling time that’s right it’s time to be it’s time to be here and you don’t want to miss the spring so we’ve got i’ll intersperse some uh some beautiful pictures of what spring is like here in prescott we’ve got red leaf plum trees that look like cherry blossoms from washington dc bradford pears that look like giant snowballs yeah well they may not know i thought about this but i refer to these trees as snowballs because uh in new orleans you call some of you other people may call it shaved ice or snow cones or snow cones yeah i call them snowballs so when we say the trees look like a snowball a snowball for all you others it means a shaved ice or a snow cone yeah whatever you may refer that tasty treat honestly that is the proper term if you ask me i mean that just makes sense i don’t want to think about that a snowball just sounds fun and delicious and tasty and and uh anyway anyway i digress i digress so now is the time to come for spring uh we’re already booking up we’re pretty much booked in april to take people uh buyers out give us a call we always want to always can add more we always can add more we’re going into may and uh i think it’s just the time time for you to plant where you know how is it blossom where you’re planted that’s it [Music] replanted transplant yeah well and yeah i think in this case it will be blossom where you’re transplant transplant that’s right and you should transplant you know you should try something new and you too could become a snowball if you just yeah you too could enjoy the snowball yeah or be a snowball or be a snowball transplant if we should open a snowball stand here that would be awesome that would be hot that would be a little rum yeah i had a little rum new orleans style new orleans style anyway i’m digressing again we’re gonna go uh to experiment with some shaved ice that’s right but anyway just wanted to tell you the weather is gorgeous here it’s perfect perfect house hunting weather perfect storm perfect yeah perfect interest rates perfect weather and perfect realtor pickle lady yeah you could spend time in spring in worse places with worse people than the pickled lady in spring and breast can everything we try to make it fun honestly we really do because it is a hard process and it’s a lot of homework and so we try to bring some humor in it and have fun absolutely so anyway this is randall and diane bro here pick a lady pick a lady where can they reach you my love you can call me at 713-302-1964 or reach us online at prescottpicklelady.com yes hope to see you soon thank you mark’s beer garden bye

Shhh! The Traffic is Sleeping

Just when you thought the traffic couldn’t get any calmer, the Germans put us in a coma.

If you are used to long, tortuous, bumper-to-bumper traffic jams and insanely aggressive motorists who threaten your life at every turn, wait until you drive around Prescott. It’s calm, sane, and beautiful.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any more peaceful, the Germans engineer something just a little bit crazy.

hello hello peeps hey guys what’s up buttercup what’s up buttercup what’s up buttercup right now we are standing by this sign that says traffic calming so we are an area of traffic calming traffic traffic calming so you can see the traffic that’s kind of coming by people should be very very calm yeah traffic calming is uh an engineering oh that’s right i’m diane randall bro yeah we are the local prescott pickle peeps she’s the prescott pickle lady also also uh hopefully one of your favorite realtors here yeah happy to serve you realtors in prescott arizona home of at least some traffic calming that’s right okay so traffic what is traffic economy so traffic calming is like an engineering thing that the germans started and it’s like a literal translation of the german like traffic called mexico i i don’t know the german but but it literally translates as traffic calming and the idea is to design the streets themselves like the way the lanes are laid out and everything so that people people are calm people drive calm they’re not crazy lunatics driving faster yeah but here’s the funny thing let’s be honest all of prescott is traffic calming that’s the point here traffic is very common yeah traffic is very calm here in prescott we just think this sign is kind of um hilarious because all yeah evidently some some politician was very concerned that we needed some traffic calming and this i guess this was the only place i’ve seen this yeah i think they had to stop because people were going into a coma so yeah the point if you get any calmer driving here there’d be a lot more car accidents yeah for smaller older generations so let’s be honest they drive a little bit they drive slow they do they’re a little more cautious yeah they are but the most exciting thing is no heavy-duty um traffic uh we don’t get a lot of drugs we don’t get road rage yeah no roadways that was ridiculous but anyway a very big truck here comes some more traffic sorry okay yeah sorry for the traffic noise there are no rush hours here yeah you know if you want to get to uh prescott to go down to pv it’s really going to take you about 12 minutes guys you know unlike la where our daughters live oh my gosh you you want to go someplace 10 minutes away it could take you 30 to 40 minutes yeah traffic yeah it does not happen here it’s it’s calm it’s lovely but not only that it not only is the traffic slow and you know not high uh a high multitudes of cars everywhere jamming up the the lanes it is um beautiful yeah yeah you drive around it puts you in a good mood like you know even if i have to wait for this light i’ll just stare at this i’ll just stare at this mountain until the light turns green exactly so you know you’re driving okay so might maybe there’s a little build up of traffic but you’re surrounded by beautiful beautiful scenery yeah so you don’t care and you don’t have people constantly blowing the horn at you unless you fall asleep unless you pause it and flipping you off and you know it’s a very polite town yeah it is oh and also the other thing i love pedestrians everybody stops they’re so kind yeah there’s none of this crazy oh my gosh i’ve got to get some place right now yeah get out of my way everybody i’m going to hit that pedestrian because i’ve got to get to some place on time it doesn’t happen here you’re safe this is all love and peace it is that’s why we have a traffic calm traffic calming yeah yeah so be careful as you drive through here because you may find some people pull over the side of the road and actually fall asleep exactly it’s very namaste namaste so don’t worry about rush hour here don’t worry about i’ve got to get someplace and i’ve got to you know time it out i have an hour to get there on time you don’t have to worry about all that time is real here it’s real time yeah live in the moment live in the moment that’s what i can calm down your traffic and stare at the mountain fell on you what fell on me some tree i don’t know but it wasn’t a bird all right so that is all we just wanted to give you a heads up so yeah absolutely traffic wherever you may live think wow think about traffic calming in prescott and just enjoying beautiful scenery and driving peacefully absolutely you know worrying about anything where can they find your pickle lady you can find me at 713-302-1964 or prescottpicklady.com online we’d love to show you around here comes another car yeah throw me something mister anyway we’d love to show you around so you can see firsthand how lovely it really is here yeah all right have it until next time

Winter of 2018/19 was crazy all over the country, and Prescott was no exception: We got the heaviest snow we’ve seen since 1930.
Pretty much our worst case scenario… and really not bad at all!

hello hello hello hey peeps it’s diane and randall bros yes we are we are here after our two days of fun and snow days that we were locked in the house it’s been called snowmageddon snowmageddon snowpocalypse yeah and here we are yeah we had an unprecedented 28 inches of snow well i’m not unprecedented because uh the last time was in 1930 that’s right they have had that much snow before but it’s been since 1930 1930 yeah but so it was kind of nice we had a little staycation yeah we did and got to enjoy the beauty the beauty the beauty and the quietness of the snow and so here it is two days later yeah here we are i’m in a sweater it’s not that cold it’s gorgeous uh let’s see so it was wednesday so this is saturday this is saturday it was wednesday night the snow started uh snowed all day thursday yes uh yesterday it finished up like late morning uh we drove around with the dogs that the roads were closed yesterday afternoon uh the highways were were free and we came down here and checked things out a little bit and uh now one day later the sun is shining sun shining it’s melting it’s family day here in the square yeah you can see all the all the kids all the families are out with snowman galore it’s gorgeous and the point is is that some people are like oh gosh i can’t deal with that snow yes you can this is the worst case scenario this right here is 100 percent the worst of the worst the worst that’s been no big uh we were snowbound for only one day yeah uh second day roads were already cleared third day it’s completely everything is clear um the snow is white beautiful everyone’s having fun yeah and um we’re just having the time of our life it was a great staying home with the pickle lady drinking coffee all day drinking coffee you know drinking some wine stayed in my jammies which was nice nice to be in my jammies all day and now the great melt has begun the great melt has begun survived so we wanted you to see uh don’t be deterred i love that word i like that don’t be deterred by the snowfall here it’s not that big of a deal we’re from the deep south so believe me if i can you know come from louisiana and say this is no big deal it’s no big deal well i don’t know going forward i might you know i don’t know if i’m gonna tell people it was no big deal because you know i survived the snow 2019 back in the day when men were men and that’s right he did uh probably the first full driveway of shoveling snow he’s ever done i was helped out some neighbors all the neighbors were coming out and helping one another that’s right it was very nice it was a very bonding time yeah it was it was a little hot too to kind of see all these guys out there shoveling snow when you’re in 2019 men are being real man yeah dogs being real dogs too run through the snow oh my gosh the dogs had the best time running around and having a good time here comes some cute pups now coming through the square absolutely yes they’re coming to enjoy the snow as well here they come yeah just all having some good times so yeah it was nice the whole city came together we all look out for each other and uh just enjoy the beauty that uh a good 28 inches of snow can bring you and it was absolutely beautiful but the best thing is we’re up and running no big deal no loss of electricity no loss of heat so oh and the city for us the city did a remarkable job keeping the roads close open and everything yeah so we salute them salute you know what a concept you actually you pay taxes right the people who pay the taxes actually benefit yes because they didn’t pay anything they did such a great job they were out and about immediately running all night uh so you know we salute them and we thank them for their service to our city absolutely very much so this is diana randall bro here in the square of prescott yeah enjoying all the snow and all the seeing all the families and snowmen and pups and we’re gonna go have some fun we’re gonna go have some fun you can find me at diane at prescottpicklelady.com or 713-302-1964 and the website is prescottpicklady.com you can find home listings relocation guides and a whole bunch of fun stuff yes so anyway we just wanted to show you that snow is not a big deal we survived again we’re from louisiana and we had a great time it was fun all right guys have a wonderful day diana randall bro here enjoying the snow 2019. pick a lady in the snow who did pickle it yeah i’ve come far i’ve come far all right snowpocalypse have a great day bye guys

hello hello hello peeps hey peeps this is diana randall bro that’s us what’s shaking bacon yeah anything good going on today i hope something fun is going on for you yeah we’re having a lovely day we decided to talk to you today about the winters here in prescott yep which as you can see by the blue sky is very oppressive yeah and pretty scary i can’t get some surroundings here pretty scary january is the coldest coldest month we have and uh here we’re on uh martin luther king day that’s right enjoying some time out on the patio outside the prescott lakes country club which is lovely by the way and behind us you can see some of the water traps here at prescott lakes it’s beautiful beautiful beautiful country club here we really love we lit we live here and we love it and we encourage anybody coming in we’d love to take you around and show you all about prescott lakes and what it’s about but most importantly we want to talk to you about the weather because we’ve had a number of inquiries yes oh my it’s god cold i can’t do the winters i can’t actually you can and you will love them i am from the deep south you cannot get any hotter and milder than that no no and uh we love winter here it’s brisk it’s beautiful um and you can see we’re suffering we’re really suffering here we thought about being naked for this because it’s not good no not me yeah but we yeah yeah it wouldn’t be a good yeah it wouldn’t be a good thing but what’s nice about winter here is uh at nighttime it might get in the 20s or low 30s and you’re like oh that’s too much that’s true but you’re snug as a bug in your nice warm house then you wake up to this beautiful sunshine yeah and then in your bed you’re in your mind by cold you’re in your back that’s right who cares why you’re sleeping how cold it gets but when you wake up in the morning uh by 11 o’clock it’s up to the 40s by noon it’s up to the 50s and it’s just beautiful sunshine yeah uh mild mild today yeah last night was the lunar eclipse so i was out on the back porch checking out the blood moon and all that stuff and i know it’s been as late as 10 o’clock and it was still you know it was fine so yeah don’t let that don’t don’t let that scare you i’ve also had questions about the snow we might have snow three at the most four times during the winter season january is our coldest month we’ve had two little snowfalls this month but the snow plows come in we’ve got all the infrastructure and take care of that yeah you’re not snowbound this isn’t the blizzards in new york city and and buffalo most of the snows last like hours you know so it’ll snow overnight and so you wake up and it’s beautiful winter wonderland blah blah blah and then usually before dinner it’s mostly gone absolutely it gets up to in the 50s every day so so you get like the best of both worlds excuse me my hair’s flying all over the place that’s a winter gust coming through so devastating gust so you get to enjoy the beautiful white snow there’s no yellow snow here no if you know what i mean yeah it’s gone all melts away it all melts away there’s no snow drifts that sit there for weeks and weeks and weeks and become dirty with the grime and you know new year’s eve we had a crazy a crazy storm uh you know it really affected a lot of the surrounding areas we got six inches which is a lot first very unusual yes you know by by new year’s eve night you know uh the plows had done their than their work and the roads were all accessible uh the next day the big milk starts you know i think actually the next day was still uh still kind of cold but i mean by like friday you know within a few days it’s pretty much gone you know don’t let the cold don’t let the cold scare you out it’s wonderful it’s it’s really nothing to speak of plus we have hardly any humidity so this is a dry cold yeah it’s not that damp rainy where it gets into your bones and yeah absolutely not this is absolutely dry dry cold and low humidity so you hardly really need a coat so you know you get to dress like perry como and put on turtlenecks and i’m wearing this which i would never be able to wear back in texas but i sure do appreciate it here it feels great so we wanted to pan over here and you’ll see a beautiful view over here the of the uh um yeah just some views here at prescott lakes there’s the clubhouse it might be a little uh a little too bright but there’s some uh the one of the creeks here and then yeah the creek’s over there it’s beautiful yeah all this technology so we want to thank president lakes for letting us come and film today and talk about it prescott lakes is a beautiful development it’s one of the largest master plan developments here in prescott beautiful golf course right absolutely great restaurant great great social life here pickleball number one right here if you’re a pickleball person this is the development for you yeah cooking classes coming up i’m gonna be taking a creole and cajun cooking class which actually i could probably teach but i’m not gonna tell them that and uh they have corned beef and stuff later on like salted meats and stuff and cooking classes come here to prescott lakes or prescott in general don’t let the winters scare you away from making a new life here this is the best time of the year i think it’s winter i love it here it’s it’s just gorgeous so hello hello hello hey beeps welcome to our weekly wine down weekly wine down the first one of 2019. that’s right very excited yeah oh one went out in 2019 but we recorded it before well that’s true but this is truly 29 yeah this is being recorded and released all in 2019. that’s right the first week of january yep versus the second week i don’t know but anyway right behind us if you look over my shoulder yeah right there that’s called the boot yeah i’ll get a close-up of it later yeah so we’re here on whiskey row yeah and every year and new year’s on new year’s eve the boot yeah starts to drop yeah it’s kind of like our answer to the ball drop exactly so it goes way up to the top of the thing and then about they have two boot droppings for some of the old stairs who were kind of tired and like i don’t want to hang out till midnight the boot drops which actually i’ve come to appreciate believe it or not yeah that’s right you do get tired and you’re ready to go home you do and then at 12 the other shoe drops the other shoe drops time for the other shoe actually it’s the same shoe it is the same shoe they just when no one’s looking they they raise it up again that’s right and they drop it again so that’s the boot behind us yeah so 10 o’clock coincides yeah yeah 10 o’clock coincides with the drop in times square correct for people like to be official i guess that way that’s right uh and then 12 o’clock is 12 o’clock you get to celebrate new year’s eve twice here 10 o’clock that’s right or midnight yeah your choice and they do fireworks they do fireworks like i think they do fireworks at 9 10 and 12. not here yeah they were at the casino yeah the casino and then right yeah boy it’s a lot of fun people come out yeah people come out like whiskey row welcome in the new year and they all get out and celebrate it’s a good family time as well for the 10 o’clock boot drop so the little kids are here and families and it’s just a lot of fun yeah so something we wanted to point out to you about uh another special feature here comes the trunk sorry there’s our truck industry at work anyway something else we wanted to talk about that’s fun here in prescott uh and kind of a big tradition here on new year’s eve it’s just really really cute um but more importantly i’m going to loop this now as they say in the business show business we’re going to loop this around to make a tie in with your new year’s resolution that’s right and since we’re in a brand new year 2019 some of you we’re getting a lot of contacts and people are calling saying not quite ready yet not sure do i want to really move the answer to that question is yes yes yeah yeah pretty much you do and 2019’s a really good time to do it it is interest rates resolution to make this happen this year you need to resolve to make your resolution happen yeah that’s right it’s easy to do anyway the reason why we say that is interest rates are going up which is kind of good i mean you know that’s good for i mean it’s not natural to have a three percent interest rate on the home that means the economy is stayed yeah the economy’s not really doing anything money’s not worth anything money isn’t working pay any money for money you’re right you’re right yeah speaking of economics you can economic economists economists yeah not really an excuse i couldn’t get the word out right but anyway um so anyway interest rates are inching up of course we’re close to five percent now yeah it’s gonna possibly in the next year go up to six yeah so if you’re thinking about it and you’re wishy-washy and yeah this is the time decide make your new year’s resolution yeah it’s a time of cleansing it’s a time of purification when the new year starts yeah it’s good time to buy too that’s right start a new life start a new life make it happen we are here to help you we’d love to help you come here and help you see yeah this is a good decision this is a wise decision we need a do-over we need to get in there before the rates go up yeah and have a wonderful new life it’s a great place for a new life it is a great place for a new life as well as you know for your new year that’s it so new life for a new year new life no better resolution in the world be resolute in making your resolutions that’s right that’s right we could do this all day long yeah i think so but anyway so we wanted to come and show you the cool boot yup so you could get an idea of that and one of our little local traditions here and also seriously start thinking about it get your ducks in a row and make it happen for you in this new year we’d love to help you where diane and randall bro and she’s the pickle lady i am the pickle lady he’s the pickle peep we’re pickle peeps together peeps together so yeah give us a call at 713-302-1964 or you can find us at prescottpicklelady.com that’s right we’d love to help you make your new year’s resolution come true take care happy new year bye

hello hello hello and welcome again to another weekly wind down i’m randall this is stella and i’m diane bro pick a lady of prescott and we’re also the spouses who sell houses back for another weekly wind down that’s right happy to be here again absolutely and what’s our topic for this for today coffee um coffee it’s a phenomenon it is a phenomenon we see it a lot in this business we really do yeah it’s something that makes me cry a lot yeah a lot yeah you see people fall in love with a home they’re all set to go and something inside of them just um they can’t pull the trigger just can’t pull the trigger and we’re here to tell you brothers and sisters fool the trigger trigger be brave yeah well the first thing you need to realize is what’s happening yes so like we had a a couple that they they came to prescott they’ve been a few times third trip yep uh he loves this house he loves house a she loves house b so in the end after much deliberation they decide go home which yeah without making an offer on either one which essentially um by not making a decision you are making you have made a decision yeah and and it’s not about oh i hate her house you know he has my house i hate her it’s not about indecision it’s really about fear right uh fear of the unknown fear about moving forward and the mind plays tricks on you i don’t know i decided i don’t like the fireplace or i can’t live with the doorknob it’s called a little bit of sabotaging yeah yeah like a cognitive dissonance thing right i don’t want to admit to myself that i’m afraid to move forward so i’m going to find something wrong with every house that i look at right so i can tell people oh i just know i could do it because of this yeah so this couple came in third trip in uh fell in love with two different houses and walked away with either so what’s going to happen somebody else is going to buy your dream home that’s right and live in your dream your beautiful life that you thought you were going to have in preschool that’s right in the house that you blocked somebody else is now going to enjoy themselves in your house and that’s a no-go here’s a little trick of the trade to somebody agents might not know this either okay um if you have a situation like that and people love two homes there’s a multiple offer form oh yeah that’s right so go ahead put an offer in on both there’s a perform see what kind of deal you can get whichever one wins guess what you made a decision but you move forward take baby steps at a time exactly exactly and so it’s kind of a heartbreaker it is when people do that yeah they do it to themselves yeah because we want you to be here in prescott yeah we want you to love it here as much as we do we were in your shoes yeah we know yeah that’s once we speak correct yeah we came from texas where our kids grew up uh we had a wonderful group of friends yeah um very close to to them and we just decided it was time for a change we were scared to death scared to death we didn’t know anybody here not one i was about to say zero but it’s really not one soul not one soul yeah and i don’t know we just committed and we said it’s time to make a change yeah and part of it i think was recognizing that we were afraid right you know i would look at you you would look at me and clearly were terrified but if you know it’s fear then you can deal with it as fear you know don’t do a jedi mind trick to yourself and you know oh it’s about the doorknob it’s nothing to do with the door now yeah and being courageous and taking the next step it’s it being brave is not about not being afraid it’s about being afraid but still moving forward yes um you know courageous people feel those feelings too and uh you can’t let that hold you back you can’t let that dictate your life that’s right life is short yeah um we don’t know what’s around the corner yeah but i tell you we moved here it was hard it was hard some tears yeah um but we have met and the most wonderful people here it’s paradise it is paradise here i did not know this whole type of geography or topography i had to learn how to drive up hill yeah it was difficult for me so it’s been fun and it’s also been very bonding yeah when uh especially if you’re empty nesters like we are it’s very bonding to jump into something new and you really just have to cling to each other well we didn’t clean so much because we’re not clingers we’re fairly independent yeah but uh you know to solve the problems together without our usual backup or fallbacks or anything else uh so it’s good it’s good yeah and it’s something you do for yourself yes yeah we’ve spent a lot of our lives in houston yeah and a lot of a lot of our friends worked in the oil business and you know one day they tell you oh guess what we’re gonna move you to bangladesh you know it’s never a good place it’s always some god-forsaken place that happens to have oil you know these families they’ll say oh you know it’s an adventure and they do it because i have to right but it when it comes time and they’ve retired from those oil companies the idea that i could now move from bangladesh to some place like prescott it’s a it’s a proactive thing you know i’m taking action and somehow that makes it scarier for some people because they’re doing it to themselves instead of obeying orders right we’ve been there we had a two-day drive across the country with three animals and two cars back to the gills yeah it was it was music it was not easy but so well worth it for this next chapter in our life yeah so for all of you waffling do i want to move should i just stay put do it do it the science of regret tells us that people on their death bed regret things that they haven’t done somebody somebody on their deathbed what are you regretting well it’s true this is true they’ve done these studies and people don’t say you know i regret having taken action you know and it didn’t pan out what they regret is never having taken that action at all it’s like if i had done x then my life would have been so much different and i really wonder what that would have been like instead of just following the bouncing bomb yeah 32 years ago 32 years ago just joking just joking very funny that’s just a joke but anyway be brave be bold that’s right for instance randall grow yeah don’t be too bold don’t be too bold yeah don’t be reckless once you do a little buzz yeah i’ve been cutting my own hair for well over ten years yeah i hate getting my hair cut you gotta listen to the ladies cat stories you know i i just my hair is not that complicated i do with buzz cut so he has a buzz cut and uh then yeah mr bros yeah well well before i do that just in my own defense it was late i had a scotch and i didn’t i picked up the razor i mean i i the razor has a guard that keeps you from getting too close so i just you know before i go to bed sometimes it’s a tip you know and uh so i did that and uh didn’t realize there was no guard on it so show us the after effects yeah get in the light get in the light that is not a bald spot that’s just uh yeah that’s just a major hair cut it’s a it’s a town sure yeah it’s a timeshare i’m not sure if they say the monks have them yeah we have it here we’re hoping it grows in soon so we’re not telling you do anything that crazy don’t be that brave take it easy on yourself if you do send pictures it’s only fair it is pretty funny yeah he’s like i can’t believe i did this like well you are i couldn’t believe it it was not even a whole second i just immediately knew what hello again hey peeps and welcome to another segment of friday wine down here it is we are your hosts i’m diane bro this is randall bro i am indeed yes we are the spouses that sell houses and you are pickled i am also the pickle lady we are here in prescott arizona so we want to welcome you again to this week’s segment got some great news very good news it’s all about what randall bro our air service our air service air service is back on here in prescott with a vengeance with a huge venture yes very very exciting times no more do we have those yucky old prop planes yeah no no no toilet with no toilet yeah yeah now we have a 50 seater with a yes through united that’s right and united is now going to land here at prescott regional airport and they’re going to have daily flights everything which means every day every day to lax and daily flights to denver as well no flights though i take that back on saturday to lax but six days of the week you can fly out to lax seven days you can go denver that’s right the other really cool thing is you can also fly to those cities and get your connecting flight to some of the other major destinations and avoid having to go down to phoenix yeah so you don’t have to drive down you’re going to do the shuttle exactly you just get on the plane and you fly to lax or denver and from there you can get pretty much anywhere yeah so this is great news for all of our californian friends who are moving here hey you can get home see friends and family in no time flat no time flight and we have a real airport you don’t have to buy your ticket and then buy another ticket you just get on the united app united.com united.com and select prescott as your originating airport and wherever you want to go works just like any other airport first flight is going out august 29th which is tomorrow which is tomorrow which i can’t believe where is this celebration where’s this month gone yeah and uh first flight’s going out i already sold up all right so things are booming uh and there’s a good reason good reason they’re sold out they’re actually subsidized by the government so they are exceptionally cheap yes round trip tickets to lax are going for fifty dollars each way might be a little higher depending on how much time you give it you know if you try to look the day before you’re not going to get that greater rate if you lose it yeah i worked within like a week and it was 136 136 round trips um you can’t drive there for that no you can’t yeah yeah and we’ve driven it many times yeah not a good idea yeah not fun okay to rock purestar fuel tank yes we did good times yeah that was good the planes will not hit a rock yeah yeah good times that was not going to happen the worst driving truck that was horrible yeah triple a not so much yeah triple h we won’t help you when you’re leaking yeah that’s what they said we actually dialed 9-1-1 and they told us we can’t help you yeah that’s true she did hello 9-1-1 what is your emergency i’m stranded i’m sorry we can’t help you i guess that’s all she says out there that’s it she had nothing to offer me that’s an aside yeah that’s that wall in the business yeah and aside yeah but yeah that’s true if you get a pierced uh fuel tank and you’re leaking gas everywhere basically nobody will come nobody will help you you kind of have to pay a mega price and kind of bribe something like having to play yes you know which is what we did and they were kind enough to yeah but that’s not going to happen to you in the plane yes see i like how this is circling circle back circling back to the airport airport you don’t have to worry about any of that you show up the other good thing is if you go to prescott regional airport you can park your car for free yeah up to 10 days up to 10 days you can actually park it there longer if you just tell them right let them know just let them know it’s going to be here a couple of weeks they just don’t want to abandon cars right so you can go there park hop on your little commuter flight catch your connecting flight or if you’re just going to la or denver yeah give you that yeah you’re done but and you can catch me great burgers there at oh yeah yeah great burgers at the airport suzie sky harbors i yeah but it’s good cooking there delicious burgers yeah even better breakfast oh cheap they will be getting a new terminal too yeah that’s going to be a while they’re going to build a new term we’re going to be building a new terminal and hopefully over time as these flights uh get popular we’re going to expand our runway so we can have even more flights to other destinations yeah so press kit is moving in the shape yes we are yes we are so for those of you looking to move here from places like i don’t know southern california that’s right that that’s never happened before yeah you get just a quick cop you go back and see all your family and friends right uh northern california you can catch uh uh capture hop over to san francisco from lax you can get to the northwest from denver uh it’s just a bomb so we’re very excited about it very exciting it’s what we call sweet sweet really sweet yeah that’s really cheers to that well i think that’s about it uh about our airport um just wanted to let you know that for you for those of you who were thinking about moving here to prescott and wanting to know what is that airport situation what’s going on we are up and running baby yes we are i’ve to actually think about flying in flight go for paris united.com yeah you want to do a house store
