hello hello hello pickle peeps hey peeps this is diane bro with my better half sometimes better half randall bro correct rumbling we’re in the van again we’re trying uh a dash cam still got some grumbling going on on the road so we thought that would be kind of cool in the pickle van driving around keep it keep it uh keep it jumping keep it jumping spicy that’s kind of spicy yeah because yeah we’ve been in uh we’ve been in lockdown for a while yeah exciting so today we’re going to talk about the many terrains of prescott yes so we have people that come in and they have preconceived notions of what prescott is and very different preconceived notions and the answer is we’re all those things we are we have many different types of terrain uh you can drive within five minutes and be in something that looks entirely different than where we just were so if you are a tree person or a forest person we got an area we got it yeah that’s kind of what i thought of about prescott i guess people described it as a mountain town well a mountaintop town to me is a place that’s well mountainous and has like lots of pine trees like pine tree forests yes and we absolutely have that we do yeah and so what’s nice is those particular areas are a little bit higher elevation uh but they are surrounded by pine trees some areas are also bordered by the state national forest it’s lovely it’s beautiful it’s going to be a little you’ll get a little more cooler weather up there you get a little more snow than the winter season you know that’s negligible but what’s beautiful about the tree the trees and the forested sections i mean you really feel like you’re in a tree house yeah some of these homes are built off the side of a mountain and all you hear is the swaying and the wind in the pine trees yeah it’s gorgeous it’s gorgeous it’s it’s just beautiful very peaceful very nice so if that is where your heart is we have that we have that section to take that and then that most of the areas in town that have lots and lots of pine trees are the southwest section of town yes if you go a little further north uh we’ll show you scenes from uh the haciampa area which is uh is kind of like our our next terrain the trees tend to thin out a little bit but still lots of terrain lots of drought that has and boulders yeah trees and boulders trees and boulders which is a really cool combo kind of my favorite combo really yeah um you’ll have the boulders plus you’ll still have the beauty and the greenness of the trees yes um and a little bit mountainous yes so that’s cool yeah and some people do not want any terrain they don’t want any hills they don’t want they want it flat yeah you know and so a good area for that but they still want trees is williamson valley williamson valley so lots of uh lots of flatter land still get a fair amount of rock um you know you can have some rock formations most of the homes can be done on a single level because there’s more flat land right um you’re not looking through trees so if you’re an area with lots of trees well your view is going to be trees sometimes you can’t see past the trees to see what’s beyond uh they have granite mountain in the distance yeah and out in the williamson valley area flatlands but lots of juniper uh scrub brush it’s kind of looks like an old western town it’s kind of a western like you’re just waiting for those tumbleweeds to come come through so totally different section totally different feel and one section that’s really popular it’s kind of in between a little bit more terrain than williamson valley but not a lot of trees is sort of midtown around the uh the area prescott lakes uh there is uh there are some homes that are built like on the edge of a cliff you know the the stemwall construction uh which is nice but there is some flat land some singles and again you have views of the dells willow lake watson lake um so that’s a little more of a planned subdivision so it’s beautifully landscaped so you see lots of green um but you will see some great distant views of granite mountain thumb butte uh and the dells and the dells which is our last area we wanted to talk about which is not unique to prescott but pretty close there are only a few areas in the world who have these kinds of uh rock formations and we are one of them and they are just stunning i love it it’s uh very similar kind of similar to the rocks in sedona but these are we call the fred flintstone for you people of our generation you’ll know what we’re talking about fred flintstone rocks and it’s right here in the heart of prescott lots of kayaking around there lots of hiking in there um it’s beautiful very very peaceful so some people like to live around those dells and see those rocks and the rocks and it is super cool um so prescott has it all so whatever your preconceived notions some preconceived notions we don’t have some people think that prescott is a desert town no we are not we are not a desert town we have four seasons here folks four beautiful seasons yep none are extreme okay we are not desert this is not phoenix this is not uh yeah you know scottsdale yeah this is very moderate you know temperatures yeah we’re not like flagstaff we’re not high enough to really get snowbound we don’t have elk here no uh we have a fickle lady you know she’s pretty wild yeah yeah i can be after a couple martinis absolutely it’s pets absolutely but anyways so when you come to prescott be open we will take you to all sections especially for your first visit and then you can decide oh i love the rocks oh i know i’ve got to be in trees end of sentence yeah then we can really hone in on the search and just go to those sections and be open to the possibility that you might change your mind we did i thought i wanted to live in the pine trees absolutely and we ended up buying uh in the prescott lakes area that’s right uh which is more kind of a happy happy medium that i think we love it so check it all out you gotta check it out keep yourself open to all possibilities you cannot go wrong here everything here is beautiful and delightful absolutely just different Prescott Open Up

As Summer sets in, Prescott opens up a bit after weeks of corona quarantine. Get the latest as we drive around in the Pickle Van, now decked out in all its splendor.

hello hello hello what’s happening out there ah summer’s happening summer is happening we’re super super excited we’re in the new pickle mobile yeah well the the the pickle van is not new but it’s got a new look it’s got a new look we got our pickle decals we’re so proud to represent the pickle lady brigade uh very excited summer’s here i don’t know if you can tell my bangs have grown in a little bit she’s looking less childish since the last time you saw us that’s right trying to hold this stick straight but it’s hard um but anyway so yeah we’re super excited that summer is arriving our pace has picked up dramatically the city is open we’ve had a ton of visitors our californians hey you guys may not know this but you are allowed to come into our fair city we do not have a quarantine in effect you are allowed to cross state borders you do not have to stay here for 14 days and self-quarantine [Music] you’re okay here absolutely we’re open for business you’re allowed to cross the state lines you’re allowed to visit our hotels are open our restaurants are open with limited table tops uh we are still following protocol but pretty much uh prescott’s open for business yeah a lot of misinformation out there we’re getting a lot of calls from people saying oh i heard you’re gonna have to self quarantine for 14 days that is not the case not the case at all um we’ve had several californians who came in crossed the border they said absolutely no stops or weird things uh they had their one agricultural stock that they always have but other than that um no fears here no one’s going to lock you down once you cross the state lines you’re good to come in here uh of course use common sense if you feel like you’ve been exposed stay put for a while if you’ve been quarantined and you’re and you’re ready to come out and check out what life is like here in prescott feel free absolutely you’re welcome to do that we’ve had i think 294 cases in yavapai county which is where prescott is located that encompasses sedona cottonwood some other smaller cities as well as prescott prescott valley we’ve had 294 cases with six reported deaths so uh we’re holding pretty steady yeah um and uh as i said we’re following all safety protocols yes we are so you are welcome to come here come enjoy the beautiful summer weather here before monsoon season starts and our rains come right now it’s just glorious sunshiny days in the 80s and the evenings it’s in the 60s can’t beat it it’s been nice it’s been really really nice look at what a good job randall’s doing driving oh yeah we both have survived uh quarantine yeah uh i withdrew the divorce the separation that’s right yeah i withdrew that i thought about it i still can’t get within six feet of her but uh other than that i’m good to go but we decided to hang in there we survived the bangs survived the bangs are coming back that’s right now my hair has gotten shorter yeah his hair has gotten shorter yeah i got my summer dude going here i got to keep myself nice and cool but we’re making it so sorry if this is a little yeah just a little wobbly i’m trying to keep wiggle it a little more it’s it’s hard you’re getting some bumps while we’re driving but anyway uh we’d love to have you we’d love to take you out to look at some homes tell you what life is about here and uh see if this could be your next destination you’re looking for more information hit up pickle411.com both buyers and sellers lots of information free giving away and uh very informative yes so look us up check it out and uh give us a call the pickle lady brigade is here with you with you to help you on your next step in life hold on we’re hitting some bumps again lots of bumps lots of bumps but life is full of bumps that’s right i couldn’t get it out fast enough but isn’t that what life is about that is with life lately lots of bumps am i right check us out at pickle411.com see what we’re all about and uh make an appointment to come out and see us love to show you around take care and have a good day bye

hello hello hello hey beeps what’s up big daddy not a whole lot’s up is enjoying a beautiful day coming out of quarantine spring springs it’s about this flower she’s trying to make me sneeze get me in trouble downtown no rona here no rona i mean between us yeah we’ve got uh as of today mid mid april uh yavapai has yeah 65 cases of corona no death so far so we’ve been very lightly hit and think about it has been stuck on 65 for over a week i think people are very conscientious here about um very strong doing their social distancing and all that stuff so that’s good so while we have been on lockdown yep uh we were very proactive me and randall by the way did we introduce ourselves yeah this is diana randall’s [Music] there’s so many cute little dogs here coming through very nice very nice but anyway we wanted to talk about the virtual revolution virtual revolution correct yeah which we have the pickle lady brigade has just jumped on 100 100 as soon as this broke and we saw where we were headed yeah uh mr bro here who’s the big uh techie got the team together and he’s like okay we got to jump on this we got to you know all of our listings we have to virtually tour we have to have virtual open houses um because this is not going to be this is not going away yeah it’s not going away but virtual technology has been around for decades uh yes really i mean back to the 80s they had virtual technology correct now for the first time people are really adopting it you have to in their lives their businesses families are using virtual technology to to conference in together and we’ve we have a a lot of our buyers are out of town so we’ve been doing a lot of video showings and stuff like that uh so this was nothing new to us yes uh but we’ve uh some new formats our virtual open house virtual open houses pick a lady walking through the house yeah it would be just as if we held our open house yeah um i talked to you just the way i do when you actually come and we’re physically present together i go through i try to open up cabinets i try to open a closet so you can really get the idea yeah we don’t want to just have still photos i actually walk the house and we talk about the features of the house yeah just as i would if you were here yeah uh face-to-face we’ve talked about how sometimes with still photos uh photographers can work magic oh yeah and make homes that look beautiful in the stills yeah they don’t look that good when you’re walking them uh very hard to fake yes a walk-through video a open house video because you’re seeing it as you’re walking through you know it’s not about finding the exact angle that makes everything look good yes so we’re very proud of that we immediately got all of our our listings filmed we have our website yep uh that you can go look at press a button it’s as simple as that press a button and tour yeah uh our our listings and see it up close and personal yeah if you want to take a look at our open houses uh we would love you to do that check out uh pickle411.com always the link to use and you’ll see links there uh eventually for virtue open which is our uh virtual open site virtuopatch yeah virtuopath it’s really cool it’s as simple as pressing a button yeah press the button you’re at the open house it’s a beautiful thing so good job for you randall bro he’s worked really hard once you’ve done it virtually why would you you know get dressed and get in your car and drive over it’s kind of cool it’s kinda it’s really cool it’s really true it’s really the nature of business yeah absolutely we’re starting the pickle brigade starting to do our virtual meetings and that’s right zoom zoom zoom zoom zoom google hangout and google hang yeah we got it all we’re having a lot of fun also happy to video any homes if you see one you’re like hey could you go preview that for me hey absolutely i’m always willing to do that uh we do measurement measurement videos right will my piano fit in that space we’ll we’ll answer that question where are your people yeah absolutely we’re your peeps more virtual stuff coming too i think we’re going to start doing some live events maybe some webinars yes we’re doubling down we’re embracing embracing the virtual revolution it’s all about adaption people that’s it you gotta adapt you have to adapt survival of the fittest and grow where you bloom no bloom where you’re planted i knew it would come to me eventually yeah bloom where you’re playing planet we’re blooming where we planted yeah we’re trying we are we’re really we’re really trying to if you like our video subscribe you’ll see the green buttons use them please we would uh love to have you join us every week for our latest wine games and uh any of our free information you can always find at pickle411.com all of our info is on there join us subscribe subscribe bye people have a good day

three two one good morning good morning this is randall and diane bro here in the beautiful square in downtown prescott uh right side our little cowboy outside the uh we are enjoying this gorgeous gorgeous spring morning yeah absolutely flower here little flower yeah enjoying spring enjoying spring spring has sprung yeah getting out of the quarantine for a few minutes getting out of the quarantine for a few minutes a lot of people here easy to find a parking place easy to find a bench very pleasant yeah very pleasant we wanted to send out a lot of encouragement to all of our friends out there who watch uh we’re all in lockdown yep um but we have a lot of encouraging news yeah we do yeah we ran some stats to see what’s going on with real estate here in prescott and uh for the month of march year over year there were actually 13 more closings in prescott and prescott valley than the year before which we were surprised i was surprised i guess a lot of people are trying to close before the virus hit or whatever i don’t know considering everything that’s going on i was very very encouraging yeah and at this point we’re halfway through april as we’re filming this yes and we are in a dead heat with last year exactly just almost exactly the same number of closings uh as last year so you know we have and a lot of uh activity over 900 homes are on the market about a third of them are pending yes uh which is a balanced market very healthy all the numbers look great so still happening here yeah it’s still happening despite all of this terrible kind of doom and gloom and it’s kind of sad someone’s playing their music yeah somebody’s playing music live we love when they do that whenever we’re filming yeah perfect perfect we are super encouraged yeah we are after we kind of ran the numbers and looked at everything and um now we are the people who bring in buyers from out of town which is a big driver in this market in prescott so and a lot of our buyers come from california california uh has been shut down for the virus they really clamp down hard on on the people in california so the governor has shut down the governor however our governor here in arizona has deemed real estate essential business essentials so so we’re still moving forward uh a lot of our california buyers who were scheduled uh for march and april have uh have postponed uh which is understandable but they’re gearing up to come back but they’re gearing up to come back they’re excited to come back they are people who are evidently are not from california are still doing their thing that’s right they are dedicated they are committed to making the move yeah absolutely it’s just been a little delayed yeah it’s done but we are super excited um we are the pickle lady brigade is practicing very very safe safe health protocols yeah absolutely to the biggest degree yeah absolutely yeah so when we go when people come uh we are keeping appropriate social distances we have gloves we have our wipes we have ourselves we go wipe things down we wear our masks yeah wipe when we’re done that is correct although we’re really not practicing social media but that’s okay we’re yeah it’s hard to get in the shot yeah so you got to get within six feet of her that is right i know that’s a pain for her but we that’s true yeah so this quarantine is a little too much together too much togetherness a little too much i need my six feet plus yeah you’re so good yeah thank you but anyway uh so when things uh settle down and the dust settles and and you guys are ready to come back come on in we are still practicing all of our safe protocols uh we’re happy to take you out uh we are very strict on how we handle that and how we approach it we also are happy to virtually video any home that you’re interested in that you get in our home search yeah absolutely we’re happy to do that and at least you can kind of daydream and still get some education on what’s going on here and still well hello hey peeps at our open house here on our open house and we had a little break so we’re like you know what time to do a shoot time for some coffee time for some coffee so uh we are here at our lovely listing at 1262 pebble springs had a little lull in traffic so we decided let’s come sit out here and have some coffee in the courtyard and chit chat oh we’ll wait for somebody else to show we’ll wait for somebody else to show up bro randall bro prescottpicklady.com prescott piccolitti prescott arizona exactly realtors we’re living the good life enjoying this amazingly beautiful day it is so gorgeous it kind of feels like spring has sprung but it really hasn’t yeah just another february day just another great day here living the life in prescott so what are we here to talk about today mr brown well we want to talk about objectives so if you’re looking to buy a house in prescott one of the things that you need to be straight on and straight with us is your objectives like what are you looking for and you can break people into two camps those who are looking for a dream home and those that are looking for a great investment yes and a lot of times you know you start out in one and then they they they start talking about the other and they get themselves all discombobulated so we thought we’d talk a little bit about what that means and kind of how you you travel one path or the other correct i think a lot of people here are moving here for their final maybe retirement retirement yeah so are you looking for your retirement home slash dream home or you’re looking just to buy something for an investment and get some appreciation yeah i do want to say one thing um pretty much whatever you buy here whether it’s your final dream home you don’t care if you’re going to make money on it or not um you will still get some pretty good appreciation yeah you’ll get good appreciation but you know you buy well yes yes you know but if that’s what’s driving your decision then we’re gonna steer you toward certain things like for example if you are looking for the best investment you can possibly get we’re going to steer you away from new construction yes you pay a premium for new construction and having things just the way that you want customers the latest and greatest maybe your particular taste is not completely mainstream you want something a little off which might limit the market when you go to sell the home yep uh you know but if that’s what you want then buy that buy that absolutely if you want a great investment yeah kind of like buying a car a brand new car you drive it off the lot you kind of you know in the beginning in the beginning after you buy new construction you might get dinged a little bit in appreciation over the years though it will definitely appreciate yeah but you know you can’t expect huge jumps and appreciation you know within the first year of purchasing a new home because the rest of the developments going up and this that and the other yes so you know it’s something to kind of keep in mind um and also keep in mind that there are people out there who have come before you and they have built their dream homes yep knowing full well that when they go to sell they’re going to have to discount yep you buy those that’s a good investment that’s a good investment that’s kind of how this the circle of life things sort of works you know exactly i mean i constantly think about trading in randall and they said in the other i’m like well i mean if i get a newer model if you hadn’t married your dream guy well you would have been able to get a better deal if i were recycled through some other wife you’d get a much better deal it’s the same thing with houses you’re so bright i mean new construction some people are like you know what it’s my last house i don’t want to ever have to worry about putting on a roof or replacing anything new construction is the way to go for you yeah you will it’ll be worry free you can move here and not have anything on your plate that you have to worry about and look you may be thinking look whatever i investment or whatever that’s just going to be more money in the kitty when i die and my kids get all this yes they’re already getting more than they deserve you know or whatever you know i don’t know your kids but you know it’s like whatever’s left over that’s on them it’s not up to me to make that is maximize that i want to live my life and correct have a dream home that’s your choice absolutely you know that’s your choice but here’s the thing don’t mix your metaphors yeah yes if you’re in the mode i want to dream home then don’t get caught up with resale or buy what you want uh or maybe you’re somewhere in between right you know if a dream home is 10 and an investment home is zero you may be at a four you may be at a seven and we can kind of help you but you need to be clear on what your objectives are absolutely don’t don’t find the dream home and then and then in the 11th hour you’re thinking yeah but it’s not a good investment yes make up your mind what you want beforehand and we can help you find it absolutely and you know my saying is some people come in they’re like well i don’t know i mean i i love the views from this house but i don’t know i worry about resale here’s my here’s my kicker which is what my parents taught me if you’re of a certain age and this is your last house it really won’t be your problem now will it about resale that’s your kids part problem that’s your kid’s problem so if you see something that you absolutely fall in love and you’re like this is my last house but i’m a little concerned about maybe um an electric tower behind me or a power line yeah but everything else or hey i like to remodel old cars yes i need a lift in the garage right you know again that’s going to be your your kid’s problem that’s your kid’s problem you know my parents taught me well they did the same thing they were like you know that’s exactly what they did don’t worry about resale particularly if this is your retirement slash dream home you know honestly let’s let’s i mean i hate to say it but it’s really not going to be your problem is it that’s it it’s going to be you are your heirs it’s going to be your children’s problem um but in the meantime you will be enjoying the time of your life yeah and yeah that kind of thing just in general that this is your retirement home i would tell you that you should probably lean more toward the dream home mentality than you otherwise might correct because if you are like a lot of people who are in this in a position to buy a dream home you have a lifetime of habits and and actions that got you here yeah and so that’s that’s what you’re comfortable with with that’s what you’re you’re used to yeah that would be called earning it earning it you know you’ve earned it and now you can it’s well within the realm for you to spend a little of that uh rather than i’ll pass it on that don’t always worry about is this the sensible correct you know kind of you know what this is it this is your hurrah yeah enjoy it you worked hard i kind of like how this topic has kind of steered around to something else yeah you like that i do because you know what it is your it is your your hurrah that this is your retirement have fun don’t worry about oh investments we’re not going to sear you any place that’s going to be horrific no is that being said yes if you like no i want to i want to give my kids as much money as i possibly can it’s got to be we can help you we can do that for you and we cover it for you we can and we can we can go zero we can go 10 we can go anywhere in between but you need to be clear on what your objectives you do think about your objectives and little in advance of uh st patrick’s day today so i i didn’t prepare i didn’t know you were gonna do the whole luck of the irish thing oh i’m just letting us know it’s you know march 17th it’s coming up it’s we’re going to have a good time and uh so we want to commemorate that official day so i put on my green yeah to match my green eyes there you go look at the irish she’s a prescott pickled lady diane brown my name is randall bro all disclosure is now done all disclosures are done i also want to just drinking coffee i also want to disclose that um i’m not as irish as i thought yeah um yeah i did that 23andme and uh i’m not so ironic yeah i’m not as irish my dad was very much a hundred percent irish yeah and i’m popping up what i don’t know something like twenty percent maybe there’s something else going on yeah postal worker or something but anyway a lot more spanish than i thought yeah anyway that’s cool that’s an aside in the business that’s an aside one of those decides it’s an aside but it’s on the side we did want to commemorate saint patrick’s day to all of our folks out there absolutely and uh we wanted to talk about california arbitrage yes california arbitrage a lot of people coming in from california and uh looking to retire and planning their retirement uh often what they miss is the opportunity for the california arbitrage which you can turbo charge your retirement correct so for a lot of people maybe you’re not thinking about this but you might be sitting on a million and a half or even a million nine hundred thousand dollar home in california maybe it was built in the 50s i don’t know i mean i don’t know your whole story where it’s located or your square footage or this that and the other but from our experience what we’re hearing from a lot of people coming in from california oh my gosh i can get a mansion here for like 600 000 and you don’t know where i’m coming from i’m like i don’t but they’re like i live in a 1200 square foot house uh built in the 50s and 60s it all needs to be updated i didn’t know i could live like a king and or a queen here oh yeah absolutely but the perk is not only can you live like a king or queen and get the latest and greatest and a beautiful home and the latest updates and this and that you’ll get beautiful views you’ll get a beautiful lifestyle but you sell that house over there in california for a million and a half you come here you can get a house in the fives maybe maybe even in the fours depending on what you’re looking for what your needs are and guess what mr brown what i just banked a million dollars you just not a million because you’re well you can bank most of that because you are buying a house yeah but still what a huge nest egg you could get from that your financial planner will thank you oh yeah they’ll be like wow this is awesome so if you’re looking at you’re looking at i did a video i’ll do a link on this so you can watch the video but you know if you are sitting on two million dollars you’re living in california um you know unless you’re like ready to pass on there’s a really good chance you know you’re gonna run out of money and uh if you if you come here not only is the cost of living a lot lower but you’ll be able to get a comparable home we estimate it’s about 40 about 40 of what your home is worth in california and depending on the area you know uh about 40 will will buy you a comparable home with that 60 percent that would go to your retirement yeah huge people yeah you try to save that while you’re living in california not gonna take and when you say comparable really it’s not even compromised not even conflict yeah i mean because what we’re hearing from our clients you know is much smaller square footage much older homes um tons of traffic tons of you know the neighborhood’s kind of going down that’s not the case here yeah you you’re gonna it’ll be safe not a lot of traffic correct bigger square footage um it’s almost like you’re you know moving into almost a brand new home yeah with the latest and greatest absolutely so we call that the california arbitrage california arbitrage arbitrage i like to say it like that oh it’s got to see it yeah so anyway something to keep in mind if you’re kind of on the fence and you’re like you know but i love my house it’s appreciated so much you’re sitting on that appreciation you’re not really able to access that appreciation it’s great it’s great to have but just imagine if you sold that and what you could do with that appreciation hell you could buy a house here live in the life of luxury and then travel the world i mean it opens a lot of women it does it is in your retirement it does as of now yes you know what we’re hearing is that in some areas of california the appreciation has slowed down uh appreciation here is robust so if the appreciation there is slowing down and the appreciation here is keeping moving forward then the arbitrage begins to lose steam so so keep that in mind don’t wait too long because you might miss the boat in california and you might miss the boat here in prescott yeah so anyway just something we’d like to talk about because we find it fascinating we find it interesting we wish we kind of were in that position yeah yeah but it didn’t happen we were coming from a different location so we couldn’t uh get that gigantic uh yeah hello what’s happening out there today here with pickle lady cheers and our pickled brigade mugs that contain non-caffeinated coffee beverages for all of our 18 year old uh our home buyers home buyers that we’re setting ourselves we’re not trying to influence and we’re trying to influence not at all yeah but what we are here to talk about is a lot of people who move here we talk about how we have four beautiful seasons and none are too extreme then we have some clients and they move in and they’re like you said it wouldn’t be cold and tonight it’s going to be 17 17 degrees well here’s the thing does it get chilly willy at night time yeah it does it does but the difference is when it’s 17 degrees it’s usually three o’clock in the morning and you’re when you’re already snuggled under your coverage 17 degrees in your bed yeah yeah and it’s not 17 degrees in the daytime no for instance last night we had a pretty cold night now we’re standing outside it’s in the 50s yeah i want to say last night it was down to you know 27 yeah it’s getting up to close to 60. yeah um look at this weather it’s like spring here yeah so don’t let these low temperatures that you see like oh my gosh it’s 15 degrees hardly ever happens yeah when you see 17 degrees in a place like idaho for example it’s gonna be like 17 degrees all day long oh yeah you know it it doesn’t work that way here no yeah it gets very chilly sometimes at nighttime yeah so don’t worry about oh i looked on the weather channel and it says it’s 17 degrees there but they’re at yeah it’s a cold place it’s a cold place it’s not it’s not it’s not it’s not it’ll be fine you have your fireplace on and you’re sleeping yeah because it’s three o’clock in the morning no one’s like a few days in the winter where it’s in the 40s yeah yeah it it it’ll it’ll be cold at night and you know it might be drizzly so it’s really cold or whatever and you do something called stay home uh but like then you know the next day the day after would be up in the 60s that’s the thing the thing about prescott winters is that they’re not relentless they relent uh you know yeah that’s a good way yeah you you get inner space with days where you can run around in your shorts without a shirt i know you know the pickle lady likes to do that and so she’ll do that you know trying to keep the family safe we got to get to keep the family safe don’t forget so don’t let that throw you because yeah it can get pretty cold at nighttime when you’re sleeping but in the daytime look at your day yeah it’s gorgeous it’s in the 60s yesterday i was out taking some buyers i was like wow i’m getting a little hot actually i’m like i’m starting to sweat yeah so don’t let a lot of variety and you know i i i’m from the south so i’m not a cold weather guy but you know i enjoy having a few days where we’ll have a little snow or you know it’s a good day to have a a cup of coffee with the pickle lady right you know sit down on the back porch under a blanket and snuggle and you know all that kind of stuff and then when you get tired of being cold then you get 60 degrees you get 60 degrees yeah and spring has sprung again but the key to remember is do we have snow occasionally is it gone by the next day pretty much usually gone by the afternoon eighty-five percent of the time it’s like no big deal folks i mean you’ll see we had snow a few days ago you might see some snow in the background a little bit of white you know usually by the afternoon the the asphalt the the the roads get warm enough that all the snow’s off the roads and you’ll be on the grass and the bacon lunch you’ll see a little snow no now he’s getting scientific with your ass you know a little snow spice a little snow it’s kind of like having a little gray on the side of here well i don’t have that they tell me i’m distinguished now because mine is minus faith i don’t know any more than i used to i look like that so yeah what we’re saying is folks don’t let those teen temperatures freak you out it is a non-event event 100 non-event where can they find you you can find me at prescottpicklelady.com or we sell prescott.com for our listeners out there people looking to sell homes in the prescott area and there’s always the prescott lady hotline you know what 713-302-1964 introduced ourselves i am diane bro by the way this is randall bro it did that at the beginning yeah maybe i don’t think so it’s hard to edit these things people it’s hard to edit these things it is with the pickle lady she’s not always working on this i’m not i’ve got a lot going on a lot a lot up there houses i’m thinking about people coming in showing that house that’s what i’m thinking as we’re recording she does it never shuts off folks it never shuts off it’s always going to work that’s not very nice there it is that’s not nice all right cheers all right cheers have a great day and we’ll see you next time bye

hello hello hello what’s shaking out there not too much this morning out here in the back deck beautiful day yes the day after valentine’s day after valentine’s that’s why i’m wearing my red happy valentine’s the day after i’m wearing my valentine underwear yes red underwear no i don’t have problems i hope but happy valentine’s day i hope not [Laughter] we got so we’re sporting some some new mugs a new swag yeah this is uh pickle pickle lady brigade i’m kind of in the middle there’s randall yeah here we are we have to start using mugs yes yes and it’s all because of facebook and google and online people like that so there are rules that you have to follow and apparently you cannot advertise and drink wine well you can you can yes but we fall under special rules so let me explain how that works okay because we are real estate we cannot discriminate by age which means our ads have to go to people as young as 18 years old that’s right 18 year old people are lining up to buy high-end homes in prescott every time we all know that we all know that it’s a well-known hidden factor well-known hidden facts so uh anyway we have to advertise to people who are 18 years old uh funny thing about people who are 18 years old even if they’re buying a home in prescott they’re not old enough to drink correct so you can’t show them ads that have drinking in it absolutely and and you know that’s the law we get it yes we always want to follow the law we do not promote drinking to any 18 year 18 19 20 year olds yes who are happen to be in the market for million-dollar homes we would never want to promote drinking amongst that amongst that group very specific yes niche yes of home buyers yes so instead because we know they’re all like make this stuff up there and we know that yes there’s so many of those apologies yes you young buyers out there at 18 19 20 who are not allowed to legally drink yet yes if we in any way promoted drinking to you right if you’re 18 years old and you’re looking to buy a home in prescott you probably don’t need a drink you don’t need a drink so anyway we had to take down all of the references to wine on our website so that is why you may have noticed a a change in spelling yes now it’s the wine down the wind down because we are not in the business of promoting underage drinking no no so instead what we will do now is have our nice coffee yes our coffee where we will only drink coffee and or tea yes in these mugs yes we don’t want to promote drinking so we will promote drinking caffeinated drinks yes no i don’t know i did you your kids at 18 years old you shouldn’t we shouldn’t be telling you about caffeine because it’s going to keep you up at night before you drink coffee talk to your mama and ask her if it’s okay and if you do it early enough in the day so you can go to sleep by seven then maybe mommy will you’ll be okay but yeah so we got these new spiffy mugs yes to replace our former you know wine yeah whatever so we’re going to have to take these into restaurants you know but actually i think they’re kind of cool they’re kind of cool kind of cool swag yeah we’re trying to make the best of a weird system totally represents our our um what is it not uh logo yeah so we’re proud to promote that yeah and it kind of is bringing me back to my days of raising children and we would bring our coffee yeah coffee to the games and when we sat in the sidelines and so all you moms out there who also drank your coffee uh at the kids you know activities i don’t know how my cup is is getting purple stains purple coffee in here i don’t know but you guys can all relate to that uh parents from the past and we we continue to struggle uh today i got a uh one of our ads or several of our ads were disapproved oh they were disapproved because they were not family safe the text yeah this is true the text that our friends at google were afraid was not family safe were was literally prescott piccolite they thought prescott piccolitti might have some obscene overtones is that companies like google rely on people like from india and other cultures to review their ads and evidently in india if you tell somebody his mother is a pickle lady evidently that’s an insult anyway so we’re living and learning living and learning so don’t tell don’t tell any of any people you know from india that their mothers are pickle lady because evidently that means something yeah apparently so there’s something out there we didn’t even know yeah we’re living and learning now in their defense i did appeal and they they we’re okay now so the pickle the pickle lady the prescott pickle lady is family safe again family safe we are not promoting alcohol we are just promoting drinking out of a cute coffee mug coffee tea and other beverages besides alcohol yes correct absolutely yeah right yeah so anyway uh we just wanted to explain that to you guys if you’re wondering why we are no longer the wind down why would the wind down
