good morning good morning this is diane bro i’m with my partner my domestic partner randall bro yeah i’m also her husband it’s a domestic part i mean we sound like a dog yeah you know it sounds cooler and hipper like yeah the millennium domesticated this is my domestic partner yeah that’s right she’s a big lady uh we’re realtors here in prescott arizona correct bringing good jobs to things that have to do with real estate and life in general in the thriving little town of prescott arizona that’s right our little lovely town so this is something new we discovered and we had so much fun we’re like oh my gosh where was this technology we love love love love this we were helping a client uh they had a few little stucco repairs that had to be done and of course the stucco had been on about five or six years so sometimes the paint color outside will fade over time and we were like how are we going to match this paint now yeah you know because it’s it’s faded and uh mr bro here found something really cool at the paint store so you know the thing about the house is the sun doesn’t hit the house evenly yeah so not only was the the color different than the color that was in the can in the garage because it had faded but it had faded differently in different spots of the home yes and so i had to match the color and you know so you get the color swatches and i actually did really well i i matched one part of the house very well he did not so much on the other side hard yeah i found this little uh this little device you can get it at the paint store which is the which one we went to sherwood shout out to sherlock mines yeah they give great customer service they really they really do they’ll help you to your dying breath they’re like yeah they’ve got a number of pain stores here in town uh but i found that they are really very they’re the best they’re very uh proactive and really real estate agents spend a lot of time we’re not just showing you how much you wouldn’t believe the other many caps that we have yeah we wear a lot of caps this is a color matcher so yeah so there is a gadget they call it uh smart scan i’ll have to look up the name of it or whatever but how much was it like ninety dollars no well not even that i think i paid maybe 60 70 bucks for this little gadget that i connects to your phone uh through bluetooth i believe and you you scan it and it will give you the number of the closest matching color that showroom williams um sells it’s like a miracle really it really is because we’re like i don’t even know they don’t even have the original paint to this house anymore what are we supposed to do how can we figure this out without having the house look polka dotted yeah with the wrong color paint and we discovered the guy said you you should try this it’s this little gadget and he was telling me about the gadget and i’m thinking yeah it’s going to be you know 500 or something it’s not it’s not it’s amazing it’s pretty easy to use if you’re not a high-tech person you can hit us up we’ll try to give you some guidance but it’s not wasn’t that hard to figure out yeah you know not only is it good for man that’s usually we’re matching pink that’s usually what the issue is there’s been a uh there’s been some sun uh but let’s say you are decorating yep and you have a pillow that you love and you would like to match one of the colors in your floral pillow and make a feature wall of that color you know you can pick out one little tiny spot on the pillow match that color into a feature wall yeah so from a design perspective is really interesting uh what you can do in matching colors so it’s an amazing little gadget and not that expensive and well worth it so for all of our people moving here if you’re like you know like what he said i want to change the color of this wall and match it to my new sofa or i want to do uh match the existing color but i just need to touch up a little area how do i find that this is the gadget for you and sure williams also has technology that allows you to get sort of a virtually paint a room to see what the room would look like painted yeah that’s cool too yeah i i played a little bit i know less about that i have seen it around but yeah they’re doing some really cool things with color so i’m sure so if you’re moving here give us a call and you want to do some painting and you’re like tell me about that thing again we’ll help you we’ll show you what it looks like how it works um it’s been very instrumental and really saved a lot of expense and buying gallons of paint that didn’t match and then you got to go start over again so uh something we learned and we wanted to share this uh tip i don’t know if it’s a design tip a listing tip but i’m not gonna it’s all of it but color matching can be a powerful thing color matching can be a beautiful powerful thing there’s no denying it having had to buy a 50 gallon of paint and it didn’t match good yes my favorite restaurant plugs
restaurant plugs rice around plus we get
a lot of restaurants so that’s when it
was actually surprising how long it took
us to get i know why
our restaurant today is
because as as you may know we’ve spent a
fair amount of our lives in texas yes i
keep wanting to call it the lone star
star i know we do but that’s
evidently could be called the broken
boot the lone spur as you would yeah you
would it would a lone spur would mean
you’re missing one and it’s a broken
boot you’re all right you’re right
mostly a bird
which is part of the reason why i think
it took us so long to uh get to it
because we we don’t eat out for
breakfast a lot but it’s a big breakfast
town they’ve got all kinds of breakfast
yeah
uh so we we need to get out a little
earlier
and uh and check some of them out and
this one is right in the square yeah of
prescott right around the square right
in the heart cute as can be yeah and i
do recommend if you go on a weekend they
do not take reservations yeah
so it might be a little crowded you
might have a little weight
uh but it’s well worth the wait yeah it
was well with the great weight that the
uh all the food was delicious we went
yum yum yum pretty big group and
everyone ordered some you got chicken
fried steak i got the chicken fried
steak it was probably the best chicken
fried steak i’ve had in town it was
i don’t know but mine was good too i
forget yeah oh yeah they do they do
lunches wild burgers and such i don’t
know i don’t think they’re open for
dinner no
uh but they do go into lunch
uh being a breakfast place if you are
trying to get there on a sunday morning
it’s going to be crowded yes yes really
popular on saturdays and especially
sundays so
just keep that in mind so it’s yummy in
your tummy though all kinds of omelettes
and waffles and pancakes whatever you
name it really captures the
whole western thing prescott being a
such a western town it’s cute as can be
yeah cutest can be cute as a button yeah
very nice so i recommend it but no
reservation so keep that in mind and
when you go you might have a little
weight but
we gave it a five star yeah yeah i think
so breakfast place absolutely i’m
getting kind of hungry thinking about it

something good fancy they did a little

advanced here yeah it’s kind of unusual
such a western old-fashioned
restaurant to have such high-tech stuff
but but they’re cutting edge and it was
good it’s very effective you’re getting
it out quicker yeah absolutely anyway if

In this episode, we cover the dozen or so neighborhoods that make up Prescott Lakes, and we discuss what makes it one of our town's go-to destinations for incoming homebuyers. well good morning good morning peeps this is randall and diane bro she’s thickly i am the pickle lady i’m the pickle i don’t know the pickle sidekick pickles he’s yeah he’s picking a sidekick correct he’s like a little gherkin i’m the pig i could say something else i’m not going to go down that that line it does make me giggle though but anyway here to talk about the biggest subdivision in olive prescott and very popular yes yes and we listen here what do we do it’s called prescott lake lakes it is a beautiful beautiful master-planned community there are nothing there are no ladies not in prescott lakes they’re the latest ones outside yeah people will say well you know i’d like i like the idea of this prescott lakes find me a house that is no um there are some golf traps there are some some water traps um but basically it’s called prescott lakes because it’s between uh borders watson lake and willow lake and both are really reservoirs they’re not really true lakes plastic reservoirs does not sound as nice correct so it’s kind of uh those are uh on the outside on the outskirts of prescott lakes yeah so we came here uh and we checked it out and we fell in love and it’s it’s a really cool concept it has about what 12 or 13 different neighborhoods yeah neighborhoods throughout so it’s not like um some communities where you go in and you most of the houses look the same and they’re cookie cutter and jim jim jim and they’re just pop pop pop pop pop street after street after street even if they’re custom homes they still all have kind of the same look yes uh you know the prescott prescott lakes is not that way well first of all back up a little bit people use the term subdivision in neighborhoods sort of interchangeably which you could do here if it weren’t for prescott lakes because in prison lakes the neighborhood is a subdivision of the subdivision it’s like a smaller little yes so there are about 1200 um homes 1300 homes and prescott lakes and uh the smallest neighborhood probably has something like uh 15 or 20 homes i think this one actually smaller than that and uh the bigger ones have maybe you know 50 or 75 homes and they’re all price ranges in prescott lakes they have everything they have some apartments they have condos they have beautiful town homes um and then they have all price ranges so uh you know in homes you can go anywhere from the high fours all the way to the millions and they’re all in different subdivisions there’s different neighborhoods so for instance and some are gated here in prescott lakes and some are not some are not that’s right um some are single levels smaller homes just all single level two beds some are multi-level and four thousand five thousand square feet some have you know upstairs downstairs some are built into the terrain some have flat lots it’s a really interesting area but what drives people here and they all love it is that uh we have this amazing golf course you’re not required to join golf so if you’re not a golfer you don’t have to pay for that but you get to enjoy the beauty of it it has a private restaurant at private exercise club clubs within the club uh so if you uh you can join the women’s club the bridge club the mahjong club the hiking club you name it there’s something here for everyone so if you are from out of town which a lot of people are they’re attracted to that and they’ve heard about prescott lakes because it’s a good place to move in and meet people right away who are in the same boat as you yeah nobody’s from here most of them are from out of town they don’t have family and it’s nice to quickly meet people it really is and no matter what neighborhood you’re in no matter what house town house condo you’re in everyone belongs to the same club and everyone belongs to the club so you know if you meet a neighbor and you say let’s meet at the club yep they’ll meet you at the club because they’re members of the same club that you are they’re like sure i’ll meet you over there and you can say or you know hey let’s go to that aqua size club exercise class that they’re having today do you want to go with me sure let’s go to the indoor pool because we have an indoor pool we have an outdoor pool yeah so do you play pickleball this is the place for you yeah at least six pickleball courts i think or something like that huge huge from beginners to you know um advanced they’re here yeah and so we love prescott lakes it’s been lovely uh it’s centrally located eight minutes to the square you’re close to grocery stores doctors i mean you cannot ask for a better location right in the heart of prescott proper and um so you can do as much or as little as you want with the social at the club we do a lot of socializing yeah we do we don’t do a lot of we have a lot of fun not a lot of working out how we do socialize but we do socialize and they make great cocktails good filled they give you a good a good pour yeah really good pour great great martinis great martinis yeah lots of good martini dinners yeah absolutely yeah so if you are investigating prescott lakes and you don’t understand i don’t get it that’s why it has prescott lakes is one giant umbrella and under that umbrella are many different assorted neighborhoods uh are each one has their own hoa as well yeah that’s right so people get confused they talk about the subdivisions say of astoria well astoria is one of the neighborhoods within the subdivision of prescott yes and yeah their homes have a very different look you might go down the street to another neighborhood and they have a totally different look you go down into the estates which are the bigger fancier homes and each one of those is a little more custom and a little different in uh in appearance so it’s it’s pretty interesting because it’s interesting that’s interesting you’re never going to be like every house looks the same in this entire community it’s uh it’s very unique and some have more trees than others some are more uh mature than others so it’s um so at this point you can find something for sure at this point by far the biggest subdivision we have in prescott and a very successful formula it’s a very small form you know people get plugged and played into the social scene uh i i think it’s it works pretty well here so a lot of people and we love it when we came here when we came to prescott i wanted land i wanted um i didn’t want to have a neighbor close by i could care less about a golf course or being in a gated community and uh when i found my home that was it i was like all of that went by the wayside and it was worth it to me uh to come here i was like this is it i love this house and i love the feel of this so never write it off uh you know keep an open mind keep an open mind because you may follow your mind open up to the possibility that you may not know offhand exactly what you’re looking for yeah but now that we’re here and we’re doing it it worked really well for us not in the least what we started out looking for not at all and we’ve met the nicest people and good good friends and uh we do hit the social life a lot with those people and we have some martinis yeah it’s good times good times all right so that’s our uh that’s our bid for today uh prescott lakes and subdivisions and neighborhoods and all that yes uh if you want more information about that’s why that’s why she’s that’s why i’m a little lady in case you didn’t know that’s right but uh today randall’s going to give you a little history lesson on why prescott which howard spelled it’s called prescit instead of prescott which i mean i totally get it when i moved here i was like prescott prescott that’s how it’s spelled however we have learned since we lived here why it’s pronounced presque it yeah like biscuits biscuit yeah yeah well the first thing is follow the follow the lead of the locals you know absolutely always i mean yeah when you move here don’t say press god everybody will know they’re not from here don’t don’t argue with the locals about how to pronounce their own town immediately just start saying prescott yeah i’ve done a lot of a lot of traveling and you know i’ve been told how to say raleigh yeah and not raleigh yeah it’s not boise it’s boise yeah uh so just follow those particularly when you’re there you know when you always take the lead of the look yeah you can pronounce any way you want when you’re not around but when you’re there particularly if you want good service or you know whatever i pronounce it just adapt and adopt the local thing and and by the way as an aside uh very few people pronounce the town of new orleans new orleans yeah we are oh that’s an i’m from new orleans yeah they don’t say hey i’m from new orleans yeah sorry that’s an assignment let me get back to price case down to prescott okay so uh the town of prescott was named after after a historian uh and his name was prescott that’s how he pronounced his name uh and it was spelled prescott well the reason why his family pronounces are pronounced his name the way they did is that his family was from new england and a number of new england families who had english names changed the pronunciation of their names to indicate that they s uh uh supported the american cause not the the tory the not the british cops correct they were not this gentleman was from there yeah and he had a very british yeah his name his family’s name was uh press prescott prescott and they decided to pronounce the name prescott there are a number of families that did that in new england uh to this day there is the town of what you would pronounce as peabody is pronounced pvd uh and that’s another example so there’s a whole bunch of them uh but anyway they they were the prescients and uh with with the western accent press press cut as in cut cut steak that’s how they pronounced it prescott became press kit yeah uh so most people had a little midwestern yeah they they didn’t do prescott yeah they did press kit but press guides out unless you don’t support the american revolution and although most not very many people will call you up that out for that anymore i don’t think that i don’t think there’s anybody alive out there who will be like hey that’s a loyalist yeah you’re not you’re sort of ants iron man i think we’re way pa yeah we’re 200 plus years i think i don’t think there’s anybody else yeah yeah they might call you out on something else yeah they’ll catch you in these recent times but uh anyway so if you come to visit us and you’re like why is it press kit that’s what that’s why that’s your little history lesson so this town was named after historian from the eighteen hundreds yeah the eighteen yeah and he was a barrier a particularly bad historian well well yeah he did the best he could at that time and did well and he did okay uh but he uh he said all the indigenous people in this area uh the yavapai tribes and things like that were descendants of the aztecs nowhere and we know that’s not sex so we have uh we have a montezuma street we have a cortez street that’s right all because uh people here were supposed to be connected to uh yeah i thought the american indians that they came right from the aztec line we are named after him who came out here and and wrote about prescott and and what was going on that’s our little history lesson so if you want to mispronounce his name you know maybe you could use that as an excuse i don’t know you could yeah but anyway anyway lots of uses we just thought lots of useless hello hello hello my fellow prescott pickle peeps out there that’s right this is diane and randall bro that’s right realtors in prescott arizona correct here we are here we go cheers to that love it here love it here um we’re very excited first we want to wish everyone a happy 2022. 2022 hard to believe yeah isn’t it well you know the last two years went by were so crazy very crazy and uh went by so fast and at the same time it lasted forever well it has they were the best of years and the worst of you i mean honestly it’s been pretty grim things have can only go up can only go up can only go up from here that’s what we’ve learned and i think they will i think 2022 is going to be good i think it’s going to be an amazing i think we’re going to recover from a lot of the stuff absolutely yeah people will get nice again yeah with all those things absolutely tough year for our buyers very tough 2021 but we are happy to say that uh oh well i can’t think of any any any of our clients who ended up with either crappy homes or prices that they shouldn’t have paid correct we tried super hard even though as you know a lot inventory was very low very low very very good usually we have like 1200 homes uh throughout the year um inventory dropped to like 300 at some point below 300. one point it was below 300. it was in the same hundreds and when we say below 300 homes we and that covers all price ranges so really hard yeah but i am happy to say so two one or two things were happening you had buyers that were just getting into stupid money and paying homes uh prices for homes that could in no way be worth that right exorbitant going over uh ask uh in exorbitant amounts and uh we are very proud to say yeah we did not let our clients do that it’s very easy to get swept up into it and like where am i going to live i’m going to be homeless so yeah i need to go 50 000 over and at some point we would just say it’s time to stop you know prices are appreciating you know and as best we can tell we think the home might appraise for maybe this much and you might want to think about going maybe a little over that but we’re getting into the realm now where you got to stop and so a lot of them you know ever they listened and we said don’t give up hope we will find the right one and we will find just the right price i think our record but you know what he ended up with a great home he did for a really good price even in this crazy market uh most of our clients got pretty good prices yes uh and the other thing is there are always homes that no one ever wants to buy even in the strongest seller markets they don’t sell because there’s a reason they don’t you don’t want to sell and you know when you’re a buyer and you your home is already sold and or you’re desperate for home or uh you’ve been through 10 offers and you still haven’t found one there’s there’s this little nagging thing well maybe maybe it’s not as bad as you think and we were like no we had to wave off a couple of those too we don’t want you to settle yeah we’re gonna try as hard as we can to find the right fit the best house maybe you might have to replace the flooring maybe you didn’t like that but we never got anything that was just so awful but it was like oh i can cry every night the inspector report comes back about two or three times the length that it ought to be he’s like you know this is not a good sign you know maybe you know you know inventory was low you might have to do some painting but nothing major and we tried really hard to get some great houses and some good neighborhoods uh maybe put your personal touch on it without exorbitantly overpaying so proud of that so we are very proud cheers to us and to our clients who are patient correct and you know who really had the trust and faith in us and it’s very important in this business to have a good relationship with your realtor and have a level of trust that they have your back and they’re trying as hard as they can which we do we try super super hard yeah uh and honestly one of the things yeah one of the reasons why we’re able to do that is because our clients did trust us yes you know if you have your clients trusted you’re really acting your clients best interests you can reach those kind of outcomes really in very adverse market condition and i would recommend if you’re working with someone and you’re just like i just don’t think they care they’re really not into me they’re really not look around find someone else this is one of the most important financial decisions you will ever make and you want to have someone who is in your corner and has your back they’re not just looking for their next commission and paycheck they really want to make you happy they want to you know make you uh welcome to the community and everything else so if you’re not feeling that look around look around you don’t have to come to us we’d love to help you but we yeah there are lots of us out there yeah but uh they’re you know being in the business you come across agents and you know that there’s some that uh you know you would recommend uh wholeheartedly and and others well maybe we’re more run-of-the-mill you know and that’s okay i mean but you want someone you can you can trust and you feel confident and you feel confident 100 so if you’re not feeling that keep on searching because this is a very important decision you’ve got to have someone in your corner that can help you with repair people that can help you with where do i get carpeting where do i get you’ve got to get somebody with a complete package and something you trust enough that when she says you need to stop yeah you don’t want to pay any more than that you feel you feel like that’s good yeah yeah so anyway this is twenty-two words of advice 2021 is over who are coming in 2022 looking for a new house make sure you have good working relationship with your realtor um and we are very proud this year we were able to get some people into some lovely homes despite despite our super low inventory and we wish we could promise you a better market for 2022 but i know nobody knows what really will happen i find it hard to believe it would be worse but yeah and we’re we’re uh what do you call it cautiously optimistic we are cautiously optimistic so but we will sure plug away for you if you decide to give us a call yeah we gotta make sure we’re recording these sometimes that happens folks yeah we just we do uh some of our best episodes one of our best episodes we’re not recorded and then he comes upstairs oh my god by the way uh we weren’t recording yeah hello hello you’re seeing a little behind the scenes behind the scenes stuff she’s the pickle lady that’s right i am her partner in crime and uh we are here in prescott arizona real estate agents uh extraordinaire correct yeah i am diane this is randall grove we are happy to uh help you guys out when you come visit if you’re looking for a home happy to help you list if you’re ready to do that yeah so we’re doing we’re we’re doing seller tips we have a series of seller tips and we wanted to focus on staging yeah uh and staging tips when you’re trying to sell your home as i’ve said before uh professional staging is not that big a deal here in prescott there’s not a lot of that going on there’s some yeah not a lot of that for the most part the sellers themselves or their agents are responsible for staging the home but just because no one’s paying money to have it professionally done does not mean it is not important it is vitally so it is and it’s necessary absolutely so this little staging tip is all about depersonalization depersonalization yes when people come in they don’t want to see i have pictures i know uh pictures of your family your children your daughters your wedding you and your wedding dress this that and the other i am so guilty of this yes i consider my daughters my own works of art yes so i’ve got beautiful portraits of them when they were four beautiful portraits of them when they were 18 it goes on and on and on i am the biggest one guilty of this but when i go to sell it’s all coming down when we go over to someone’s house uh just you know socially and their house isn’t personalized it’s kind of creepy yeah i don’t like you go in you don’t see any pictures of them or i think that’s with their children it’s like this person must be in witness protection yeah something i’m a little suspicious a little suspicious so we like homes that are warm and personalized and that the personal touch with all the pictures there’s nothing to say there’s anything wrong with decorating decorating your home in a personalized way it’s just when it comes time to sell that can get involved some of that needs to come down not all of it you keep a cute little picture tucked here and there yeah that still gives the warmth of hey this is a nice family home yeah we’ve had a good time here we’ve got good memories it gives good juju yeah but if it’s too too much of it yeah then people can’t see past my family moving in here this is where i could hang my portraits yes this is where i could hang my grandchildren’s pictures yes so if you’re covered with all of your stuff and it’s too much of it they can’t see past it and they can’t see themselves we want them to get an emotional connection to your home i’ve got to live here my family would be so happy here so a couple of points there first of all uh the reason why you do this is that uh the reason why stage in general is that people do not make rational decisions in buying a home they make emotional decisions they do and buying a home and you may say oh they can look past all my stuff where they could you know they could go home and photoshop it all out you know or they could you know do it in their own minds but what we’re telling you is they don’t in practice they don’t that’s not how they make decisions uh most people unlike investors most people most buyers will make an emotional gut decision in connecting with a home and if your personalized stuff doesn’t connect with them it’s going to get in the way of that process and they’re not going to connect with your home and they’re not going to want to move forward that’s true the other thing to kind of de-personalize is besides you know family photos or you know is anything that of religious nature that’s if you are overtly you know if you’ve got a lot of religious or even i hate to say it patriotic yes um which i don’t agree with but um yeah i mean we have religious stuff in our home we have oh you know that’s how we personalize our home right some people it could be that they are not religious correct it could be that they have a religion that is different than yours right and it’s not like they say oh you know i would say i’m jewish and all these crosses are around or vice versa and they say well you know i don’t i don’t like all these crosses i don’t like this house they won’t even be able to articulate it correct they just won’t connect with the house they won’t even be able to explain why there was something about the house that just didn’t feel right right you know and that’s what we’re trying to avoid absolutely i mean i have all of that i love it all i have buddhas i have catholic things i have dude jewish thing yeah i like to cover my bases i have it all i i want to make sure i got i have crystals you name it yeah i have a very eclectic home yeah i will say it’s very clever but that may not connect with a lot of people and it won’t they may be like what does she have some weird stuff weird stuff that was a weird house and i’ll be the first one to open it it is so i agree you know so when i do go to sell i will remove some of those items just because again we want it to be a clean slate yeah that people can see you know their special things coming in their special photos right uh portraits and things like that a quick rule of thumb when it comes to family pictures so if you go to a place like say michael’s and you buy picture frames most of the picture frames will have pictures in them yep you know showing you you know this is where you would put your family but they’re kind of sort of generic looking family photos if you don’t have a lot of family photos and it just looks like a family there’s nothing particularly different like it it could be the picture that they put in the frames at michael’s and sell the to sell the frame if that’s the case then it’s probably not so personalized that you need to get rid of it but if it’s you know like uh halloween costumes or something just kind of strange that you wouldn’t see at michael’s then you probably need to yeah yeah that is just keep it light keep it simple keep it not too crazy like my house and you’ll do just fine but the most important thing out of all of this is when your agent is nicely suggesting hey you know you might want to remove this you might don’t not argue but don’t get defensive don’t be insulted it’s not meant in that way at all it’s just having done this thousands of times and helping people find their place and the feedback we get back we know what your house will be tagged about it’ll be like oh gosh did you see that that was terrible and so just listen to us ahead of time and save yourself a lot of heartache yeah and it may not be fun to hear and it may be i’m not really comfortable i understand i mean i get tagged myself so it’s a it’s a pain but we’re telling you it will put money in your pocket it will put money in your pocket and it will save you uh you know have the house sold pretty quickly so it’s all in your best interest too personal absolutely in your best interest so depersonalize depersonalize depersonalize and when someone suggested like we suggested to you just take it with a good heart and say okay thanks all right good points here if you look for more good happy holidays yeah what is that jingle bells jingle bells jingle bell hold up yeah i guess jingle bells i don’t know i just like to see it’s just inspired by these things yeah getting into the holiday season so if you’re watching this in you know like july it’s not our fault that’s why we’re dressed in our winter guard correct we’re excited uh things are winding down yeah get it yeah and uh things are starting to you know we’re getting back into the season looking forward to families coming in and uh just having a nice visit and a little maybe maybe a little downtime we have been uber busy uber i i think we’re going to be busy all the way to christmas to be honest the way it’s going santa’s going to be dropping new homes down the chimney i think he is i think so there’s nothing wrong with that right nothing wrong with that have another restaurant tell you about so this one is called red white and blue it took the uh the spot that used to be prescott station yes for those of you who are local you may not know but that’s the new venue the new venue rare bite and brew yes so uh we like the old one um until they got rid of my fundido and then i had nothing that i really liked there so we were all everyone was very excited about uh seeing the new restaurant come in uh renovations so there was a lot of anticipation and we were there i mean shortly after they had just opened and uh red white and blue so we we went there with a couple of our friends that’s right and it was it was a good experience it was it was not what i was expecting not at all we give it a thumbs up yeah um we just kind of thought it might be bar food pub food kind of things given that it’s called red white and brew you would think it’s kind of a brewpub but it’s it’s really not no it isn’t yeah they had some really nice good dining yeah the eggplant parmesan was unbelievable parmesan took the the best of best of meal i guess yes frank got the eggplant parmesan and it was uh really phenomenal good beers good wines yeah the beers they had about uh a handful on tap uh they had just started so i think they had like maybe three beers on top uh i think they planned to have like four or five so it it’s really not about the they have a lot of beers in bottles oh yeah uh but it’s really not about the beer at all they did a better job i think with the wine yeah they did a great great wine selection great wine selection and as he said a lot of good bottled beers as well yeah yeah and they’re going to add more to tap they were just opening when we got there yeah um and so just a great place if you’ve got a lot of company coming in yeah and you’re like yeah where can we go where can we go i would recommend it they’ve got a nice outdoor area too where you can sit yeah it’s a great species are you losing yeah is your voice changing i i think you’re mentally trying to keep me from talking i think i might be yeah i think that’s what this is good very very very susceptible to that so anyway i was gonna say that there’s a building itself which is right across the street from the hacienda and one of the historic hotels right uh it’s a great venue uh it’s a great building the inside’s really neat they have uh remodeled it just a large extent did a great job it’s very uh outdoor seating indoor seating and there’s kind of like this sort of indoor patio yeah area which is kind of cool uh there’s also a great bar in the back just a just a bar area still one of my favorite bar venues uh in town yeah so if you’re just looking for a great place to drop in go back there and have just a couple of drinks yeah the bartender back there is uh i think he’s the same guy who was there he is and he’s amazing hats off to you friend yeah he does a good pour yeah he does a great great we’re always looking for a good poor poor so with all of your folks and family coming in try it out yeah absolutely we always love to try out new places and support our small local businesses yeah and this one is right about the square so oh also i should mention too the outdoor area is dog friendly so if you want oh yeah it’s a great place to bring a dog you can bring your pup and he can sit with you so maybe we’ll see you there over the holidays we may be there yeah probably who knows you may not recognize me i’ll be the one with the eggplant parmesan he’ll be the incline of arms well good morning friends hello brandon diane bro here your prescott pickle team we are indeed i am the prescott pickle lady um when you come in you’ll see why i’ll bring you some of my cajun pickles they are fabulous yeah the pickle lady often wears uh green but not during our wine downs i can’t can’t wear green i love green i know green is my lucky color i have green eyes they get really green when i wear green i have my lucky green jade earrings i’m all about green all about green well we’re here now let’s talk about color so we’re doing staging tips for our sellers out there uh as i said in a previous wine down uh professional staging isn’t that big of a deal and prescott not a lot that go not a lot of that going on uh yourself we trust you guys yeah no that’s the way it’s good it’s done by the sellers and done by the agents it’s not done by professionals but just because it’s not done by professionals does not mean it’s not important it’s violated and it’s vitally important and it’s very necessary now and one of the important factors in staging your home is color color color color we’re going to talk about some colors some things that you need to keep in mind about colors in a home right uh one of them so if one of the i think we’ve talked about this before if you’ve got weird colors yeah you need to paint yes if you’ve got like yeah uh bright aqua yeah yeah peach peach is so dated yeah peaches love is so dated yeah um seafoam green is so dated and a lot of the painting techniques are dated the faux finishes and stuff like that a lot of that is really kind of passe people really get turned off when they see it it’s kind of like popcorn ceilings you just can’t sell anything with a popcorn ceiling now there are certain colors where that is the case um i would i would i always tell people avoid just white uh it’s too strong it’s too stark people go to white because they think it is uh safe right um but it can be too bright and too jarring yeah particularly if you don’t have a lot of too sterile too sterile particularly if you’re not gonna have a lot of pictures on the wall yeah if you just show a home that’s empty with white walls it really cheapens it quite a bit so be careful like when we say hey these peach walls you really should paint go with a nice neutral gray or a nice neutral soft white or soft cream yeah or like a taupe very soft completely neutral nothing jarring nothing startling nothing um for instance we had a house in baton rouge way back in the day and our daughter’s playroom we we did this whole all four walls were beach scenes and sea creatures and murals and we had a great time we also did it in texas in their house too um but as soon as we went on the market nobody had to tell us we immediately covered it up and painted and did all it was kind of sad yeah we did take some movies of it and some pictures so the kids could look back and realize what amazing talented parents they had yeah because we need to you know constantly put that in front of that like send them the evidence yeah not many parents paint their walls like this for their kids yeah but your parents did yeah you had a blue a killer whale yeah we had a killer yeah yeah and jellyfish and we allowed that to happen but anyway that’s just a shout out to the kids and all you parents out there who did the same thing you know you know what we’re talking about kids rooms are always suspect so if you’re yes if your daughter just loved hot pink and her whole room is hot pink including the trim you’re gonna have to paint that absolutely you know uh little boys like uh you know crazy dark colors sometimes black walls yeah they’ll be terrible get rid of that space scene or whatever and or whatever it is uh crazy purples we’ve seen some crazy purples it’s got to go yellow it’s got to go don’t push the envelope with colors if you have something that’s pushing an envelope you really should paint them and you know it may cost you maybe a thousand dollars to repaint all that yeah it’s worth it you will reap that in in the price of your home you will regain all of that and more and again if you leave it and it remains in place your house will probably sit on the market yeah and the longer it sits on the market you’re going to have to drop the price drop the price so that little bit of investment ahead of time will actually get you more money even if it doesn’t so so i’ve told the horror story before there was a home beautiful home uh the walls were a mint green that’s not that offensive no not about uh but everyone took in it was like this doesn’t match any of my stuff uh in the end long story short i think that color ended up costing them at least fifty thousand dollars they had to keep it was they ended up having it anyway yeah they should have painted it in the beginning and you’d be done and they would have been done right away and they would have gotten more money for the home it’s not just oh i can’t sell my home so i have to lower the price right if you have two people who are interested in your home then they compete with one another on price you get more money if your weird color only makes one go away it’s going to cost you money even if the home sells right away it can still cost you money that’s right and the other thing is people people were like well they can paint it themselves and they can pick whatever they want people just don’t have the imagination the vision and also they think to themselves i want to be move-in ready i don’t i don’t want to come in and have to hire painters have to find a painter i want to be able to move right in and unpack my stuff hang my stuff on the walls if they have to wait for a painter and it might take two or three weeks to get the whole house painted it’s a turn off they may walk away from a perfectly great house just because they’re not interested or they find one that they don’t have to do that and that’s a deciding factor right yeah so i know when we moved in our home i painted it from top to bottom and it was about a three week process because i had a small team yes and um so yeah if you want to live with your painter and get to be really good friends yeah you know and that’s okay um but it’s you’re really better off just doing a a minimal touch-up painting yeah and and adjusting the color it will save you a lot of time and money in the long run time on market and more money absolutely absolutely so another another seller tip if you’re looking for seller tips or just information about real estate or just prescott in general hello hello hello hello beats randall and i am bro here your local prescott pickle team that’s us i am the pickle lady uh happy to join you today and uh we want to talk a little bit about something that i think everybody should learn when they’re about to list their home and uh you know just listen to the advice of your agent and one of the main things we’d love to talk about when you are ready to go live and we’re getting ready to take pictures and video of your home you want it to be shown in the best possible light possible mm-hmm i said that this might be possible best possible light as possible forget about that yeah only one possibility just take one of those possibles ignore all that but yeah possible ignore the extra possibility if it’s possible if it’s possible ignore the extra possible that’s right so this is yeah seller tips staging tips so in this town uh professional staging is relatively unusual in some markets it is a matter of course that sellers will pay a professional stager they’ll come in and stage the home for the most part that doesn’t happen in prescott usually yeah there’s some uh you know usually staging you’ll see if the home is empty right and uh they don’t think it shows well empty they may put a few things in absolutely uh but state professional staging is not that big a deal in prescott but that does not mean that staging isn’t important it’s super important but it’s up to you to get it done that you are my agent right so the most important thing is i’m sure most of you have heard this if you’ve sold a home before declutter declutter declutter yep declutter i’m famous for this i have a stack where my mail goes i have a stack for here stack for there yeah i have my books tucked you know irregularly that’s a good word they’re regular books yeah in the in the in my bookcase and things like that and you get little pigeonholes like yes you stuff stuff in the in the space between the book and the top of the bookshelf just as a temporary holding spot and three years later that paper is still there well we’re not here to talk about the issues you have with you no i’m not trying to i i’m i’m assuming that i feel like he’s he’s addressing that to me because that is what i am famous i am uh we see that in homes that we are listing we see that in homes that we were taking our buyers through it’s like you know they really should spend a couple of minutes to stage the home better right and the decluttering is just sort of a base you know you you you get used to seeing that paper in the pigeon hole or whatever it is you don’t even see it anymore and after a while you stop seeing you don’t see it but other people other people will yeah and then they’re like oh that was you know and and they get not fixated but that’s all they see yeah and they don’t see the other good qualities of your home yes and so anyway it’s very important to get rid of the stacks of magazines you may have okay national geographic oh my gosh my parents must have had 150 right i have never had a buyer ask them you think you can get them to uh give me those copies of national do you think that’s not gonna happen just letting go interested in your national geographic that’s right yeah and and you know people need to understand that a home purchase is in large part an emotional decision absolutely investors maybe not so much they’re looking at the numbers and that kind of stuff but typically uh buyers either fall in love with your house or they don’t right and they don’t always know why they fall in love or why they don’t fall in love and honestly you know some clutter on top of the books in the bookshelf might be enough that that little you know brains and synapse or whatever shut it down just doesn’t fire and the home doesn’t really connect they won’t connect with them and they don’t even know why yeah uh they couldn’t even explain it so absolutely it’s not like we’re being irrational oh they can see past the papers like honestly we’re here to tell you but they won’t they most of them can’t they just they just it’s like they don’t have the imagination so it’s very important um when we say declutter we don’t mean to be insulting to you or this that and the other we’re just telling you we’ve been in homes and the ones that are decluttered they’re so they sell quick they sell fast just say bye bye bye yeah you know if you haven’t used it in two years get rid of it and it doesn’t bring you joy is that lady says that japanese lady who yeah i can’t think of her name condo yeah it’s actually she’s she’s she’s on the money which is absolutely if you haven’t used it in two years it’s never going to happen get rid of it and make your house look good just but if you’re a child of the depression you just can’t throw things away that’s fine too get some storage get some storage and get it in storage correct pull it out yeah roll it out it’s got to go go down yeah one of the things you need to be aware of is that in large part people coming to prescott are looking to retire they are typically coming from homes that are much bigger than the homes that they will be buying so if your home feels like it’s not all that spacious uh it’s gonna be a stumbling point for them they’re trying to fit their 3 000 square foot life into 1700 square feet you want to make your 1700 square feet or whatever it is look as big and spacious absolutely and then they can envision wow maybe i could take my china hutch and put this here yeah um that’s that which leads us to our second point if you’ve got a ton of furniture jammed in there pull some pieces up if you’ve got two end tables and a sofa table and a coffee table and huge sofas pull some of that stuff up pull it out it’s too much people think oh gosh i would never fit in here i can’t bring my stuff that is yeah and people don’t think about that they’ll have a small uh a small living area and his and hers big fat lazy boy chairs or something and they just put them side by side in front of their 50 000 square inch tv uh you know and that’s how you want to live that’s fine but those big chairs take up a lot of room and and you come in you say well this room only holds two chairs yeah yeah you know and they can’t they can’t envision for themselves so it’s always good to de-furnish yeah pull out some of the bigger pieces um and just go put them in storage uh just present it as open and as spacious as possible so that people can envision their pieces of furniture in there yes and if it’s too much furniture i’ve seen it time and time again because i take hundreds of buyers out a year if they go in a house that is heavily furnished with big big pieces big king-size bed four dressers it shuts them off they’re like uh yeah i can’t i can’t no this is not for me it’s too small the reality is it’s really not too small you just may have a little bit too much furniture more than once we have been out with buyers looking at homes and we show two homes that have the same floor plan yes and they will talk about how one of them is so much more spacious than the other same square footage you understand those homes are exactly the same they have but they can’t they they can’t that’s not that’s not the impression it was so much darker and it was just because there was too much furniture in the room that’s a really good point a lot of furniture too will also make a house seem much darker than it really is if you’ve got a lot of big pieces especially if it’s dark wood or this that in the other yeah it does tend to darken the home even if you’ve got your curtains open and blinds up so again just take some advice and just say okay i will remove some of these pieces and i’ll go put it in storage it will just save you some time and time on the market yeah because we’re always like let’s wrap it up let’s get this sold for you so you don’t have to have the torture of visits and showings and it can be hard to do that so we want to make it as easy and stress-free as possible so listen to mom and dad when we say please declutter and please remove some of this bigger furniture it’s not meant to be not an insult but it’s not meant to yeah it’s just to allow you to sell your home more easily and for more money you can get an extra buyer uh interested in your home uh that could mean tens of thousand dollars absolutely time on market is time that you might lose some money absolutely the more time you’re on that market the price could you know be affected yeah absolutely all right keep that in mind and uh we hope to see and uh we are so excited because uh
christmas is on its way on its way and
uh we’re here right now yeah yeah starts
my highest
high 50s now i guess yeah yeah and the
lows are getting chilly willy yeah
snuggle time snuggle time turn the
fireplace on
so today we wanted to talk about a
pretty cool new look not new i should
say it’s an older subdivision called
antelope hills
um it has a great public golf course
it’s located kind of close to the
airport
very convenient yeah up and coming well
i mean again
it has been there a while it’s been
there quite a while uh it used to be way
out and i guess maybe the middle of
nowhere close to the airport back in the
day back in the day but that little area
which is uh 89 and 89a
is really up and coming granite dells is
close by there uh dorne has some
communities right there
and old antelope hill has been there a
while suddenly coming back coming back
to life yeah people are discovering it
people are buying and and
updating and making the houses great
and it’s very charming kind of a little
pocket area
and
it’s really cool especially for you
people who might be pilots and you have
your own private plane you can park
right there um and you’d be right there
to take off
from your home or if you just don’t want
to be like me you just sit and watch the
private plane some people love to watch
the planes come and then you get to it’s
you know mesmerized you get to be there
for their show and everything yeah
there’s an air show which is on every
show
right there that’s right well we always
we i think we did uh we may have done a
wind down on the um
what’s the little diner in the airport
i think we i think we did susie’s before
so we like to go there
a great cheeseburger place and watch the
planes take off and you know if you’re
here with your grandkids and you want to
have you know and you decide to buy out
an antelope hills then you and your kids
go watch yeah you know and the grandkids
and your own family
randall finds it very relaxing i do i
find it very very relaxing it’s very so
there’s there’s actually two public uh
golf courses there
yes i think yeah i think it’s like a
north course in the south of course i i
don’t know very popular very very very
nice course and there’s also a little
clubhouse associated with the uh with
golf course right a great bar as some
snack bar food
so we were there with uh with our
friends and having a good time so it’s
really great um after a round of golf
yeah
depending if you’re in a good mood or a
sad mood you can go right up to that bar
and have some drinks
celebrate or drown your uh ground you
saw right that’s right yeah you can have
a good time yeah so we had good some
good cocktails they had a a a hard
arnold arnold palmer yeah uh which was
good i had something i forget but it was
an interesting
uh drink very reasonably priced
everything there is reasonably priced
it’s a nice little area to get together
so you can get a really nice house um uh
and maybe fix it up at a fairly decent
price
and then there’s some that are already
fixed up that it’s it’s just a deal i
mean and it’s just a
lovely lovely area
to rediscover
and it’s something we’ve rediscovered we
have some good friends
shout out to jan and don
shout out to you
they are closing tomorrow
on their house
um it’s really cute it backs up to the
golf course a lot of homes in there back
up to the golf course
and it’s really nice yeah and um so
anyway they are moving in they’re very
excited and they’re already planning
their first big party yeah
yeah and then they’re looking forward to
have hosting an um
air show party yeah and we can all sit
in their backyard and watch the air show
and
uh it’s it’s really it’s exciting
it’s a very relaxed way of life
not a long a lot of homes uh come up for
sale there it’s not a huge community and
the people there tend to stay
yeah
but if you have interest we can put a
look out uh out there for you absolutely
uh but even if you don’t live in that
area just uh hitting up the golf course
and taking advantage of the clubhouse
it’s a great place to meet people right
uh it accommodates large groups easily
it’s just a great place to hang out
maybe smoke a cigar that’s right
so whether you want to visit for the
public golf
golf course and go golfing or you might
be interested in buying a house no
cookie cutter out there it’s all
different houses very unique
it’s uh kind of fun to go out there
and uh then you can sit out there and
have your own party and watch your own
air show that’s right that’s what we’re
gonna do you can’t wait you know or make
yeah especially if you have your own
plane lots of people who live out there
have their own plane they just go with
the hop skip and jump
and then they can fly out of there and
that’s pretty cool yeah well why don’t
you take off it’s pretty cool it’s like
you could be the next john travolta
that’s what he does you know john
yes he’s a he is a
world-class pilot and he lives right by
his uh plane
so he can just walk out the door hop on
his plane take off yeah
so there you have it great
john travolta
but i’ve always inspired if any of our
people out there have their own plane
that’s what they can do they can do what
john travolta does well that’s cool it’s
possible i don’t have to wear those
disco clothes no you don’t but you know
you wouldn’t think that would be
possible here in prescott but i’m
letting you know yeah it is
whatever he’s not with the times
not at all
never pretended to be okay
so anyway if you’re coming in and uh if
you’re interested in antelope hills

available because it is kind of smaller

can i say what can i say i like it yeah so we’re here to talk about something that is huge here and it may be huge where you are i’m not sure um but you know this is a big retirement town so a lot of folks come and now they can have the time of their lives no more work schedule no more commuting uh everybody’s worked hard and they’re like we are here to partay yeah so they’re looking for things to do and socialize and share time together and the thing that’s kind of taken off is pickleball pickleball well i i think pickleball has taken over the whole nation yeah it’s become very popular it’s a lot easier on the joints and and you know so um as we age you know it’s not quite so hard but you can still be active but without damaging yourself as we have done yeah and also too if you if you’re playing i have found that if you’re playing pickleball and the other players are much better than you you can still kind of have a game yes whereas if you’re playing tennis and the other person’s really good i mean it’s not going to be fun yeah it’s not fun so it’s it’s very social and very social and uh so a lot of people pick it up they have women’s pickleball they have men’s they have um men and women mixed doubles i knew there was a phrase for you i just was like yeah pickleball singles well i like it as as it’s also true in tennis uh when you play doubles it’s a lot easier yes you might have to cover half the court so we have the balls the same way i played singles once or twice a lot harder doubles is a lot more fun but we have a lot of friends who have picked up pickleball they love it they’ve like oh my gosh it’s become quite the social event for them and so in particular like we live in prescott lakes uh they have six or seven pickleball courts that’s how big it’s gotten and they keep adding more courts and so a lot of people here have joined the pickleball club and so they meet and they have all the way from the very beginners to advanced so don’t feel intimidated if you move here uh everybody’s super welcoming happy to teach you and you can as you grow you can bump up uh so it’s as competitive or as relaxed and fun as you want to make it absolutely so we tried a couple of times we’re just too busy and we’re not retired that and it’s hard for us not to curse it’s hard yeah i wasn’t gonna say it but they do have some nice rules everybody’s uh very uh gentlemanly and ladylike and i missed a couple of times and i said the s word you know and um so yeah that was very hard for me um but i would i would train myself if i had more time i would learn how to control that but so even if you don’t live in prescott lakes they have public pickleball courts uh off of willow uh creek and that off of that street they have public courts and lots of people join there so even if you’re not a resident of prescott lakes there’s plenty of other opportunity for you to play pickleball and those things are big too rumor is rumor is we had an old sears that closed in the shopping center and we have heard i think it’s pretty definite they are gonna they they’re working on converting the whole interior into indoor pickleball courts yeah which i think is pretty cool that’s like yeah that’s like yeah yeah the the [Music] shopping center thing is is in decline has been for at least you know they’re dying on the vine and it’s sad you know to see especially around christmas time you know shopping centers were such an important part of christmas and now they’re kind of dying on the vines so yeah i was wondering i wish someone would come up with a new use for these spaces and yeah a place where the community can come together and when i heard the pickleball i think it’s brilliant oh my god that’s brilliant because then if it’s too hot in the summer you can be inside if it gets chilly willy in the winter i mean i think that’s ideal yeah you do the food court thing and it’ll be open to the public and everything else so anyway if you are a huge pickleball player or you’re thinking about picking it up uh prescott is the town for pickleball it is huge and people just have so much fun meeting other couples other people and then you develop other friendships so it’s a great way to meet people so we highly recommend prescott for pickleball there you go yeah and even at prescott lakes they hire the national pickleball coach yeah there’s a national pickleball coach and he came to prescott lakes to give personalized instruction and uh classes yeah so it’s uh it’s a big deal here so anyway if you’re thinking about it or if you are already a devotee of pickleball this is the town for you yeah and the people could not be more fun oh yeah it’s nice it’s nice so that’s our tip of the day about pickleball if you want to learn more about well good afternoon hello peeps this is diane and randall bro yes i am the pickle lady here in prescott and this is my sidekick here he always makes sure the car is stocked with pickles that’s right because everywhere i go somebody’s like could i have some could i have something so uh he’s my little stock boy yeah and uh making sure he’s stuck in the van with pictures right he makes sure the inventory is up he’s like uh are we down on pickles time for you to get i’m gonna do production she that she’s i do all the production production i just stock the heat stocks and make sure hey i think you need to make some more yeah i’m like okay let me get right on that right on there but anyway pickle lady pickle lady that’s what that’s all about so if i see you or if you come visit you too because we’ll get some pickles but we’re here to talk about something interesting i had never heard of i’m from the deep south yeah it’s called hauled water yeah that’s how we call it that’s how we say h-a-u-l-e-d it’s like called gas except it’s water right exactly so halt water i’m like so i heard this term but it wasn’t i say hall they said hurled girls i can’t even say we’re not allowed to say that people in arizona have an accent because we’re not from here right yeah we’re the ones with i can’t do it it was like um anyway so somebody was saying i need to get um some hold the hold hold water and hold and hold hold on and i said i don’t don’t know what that they were like don’t you have the number and i’m like i don’t what is that could you say it again and they kept saying it the way they were hauled her and i said i’m so sorry i don’t know what that means and then i said could you spell it and then i said oh hold hard okay i got it i got it and so what that is is sometimes in some areas here because where we live we grew up in the suburbs and everybody was on city water and water whatever and things like that yeah it came from the tap um so here uh especially in some more remote areas up the mountains and everything you don’t you either have to have a private well or a shared well there’s no city you know they can’t get the the water to you i mean up a mountain so they’ll have uh wells and sometimes even that is not enough and the well may run low so in addition to that they will get hauled water ordered and that comes in giant what is it like two or five hundred gallons yeah i know more than that that yeah i think it tanks like two thousand gallons or something and so they’ll bring this giant plastic container that will sit on your property and that can be used for additional things or emptied into that well and that’s another way to get that water there yeah so it’s literally driven in a truck yeah and driven into the actual they literally call it yeah so if you have a well particularly if your well doesn’t produce that that much water quickly you know the the quantity is not good you’ll have a storage tank you get a storage tank so the well is constantly pumping water into the storage tank and you draw the water from the storage tank uh if you consume the water faster than your well as pumping into the storage tank well you’re going to have to top it off or eventually you’re going to run out and that’s hot water that’s what they do they’ll they’ll come out and they pour the water into your storage tank and uh i i it’s like i don’t know three or four hundred dollars to have the water hold out right and uh we looked at one house and particularly had two storage tanks so you’re looking at you know about 700 bucks to uh to fill up and uh the people who were selling the house there were just two people living there and i mean this part time yeah it was a weekend getaway yeah cabin but it so that was sufficient yeah for two people it worked fine the well produced enough that if there’s a shortfall there it’s not much so you might have to haul the water out once or twice a year yeah uh but our buyers wanted to use the property for an airbnb and that’s when four people come in like they will burn they would run through that water fast so a lot of times people will call us and they’re like i want a cabin in the woods and i want that these are things to think about um because it isn’t going to be on city water yeah and you will have to make sure your well doesn’t go dry and you need to consider if you want to use it as an airbnb that you have a very good producing well yeah that you won’t have to rely on halt water because that could get costly for you yeah well if you’re if the place that you’re again running with the with the uh scenario that you want to do in airbnb uh you don’t want to buy a big house because lots of people will go in there and use that water water yeah but if a small place that might work it might work you know if it’s just you you know you and your spouse and every now and then you have the kids in for a holiday you’re probably going to have to top up the tanks for the holiday uh but that might be doable you know it really depends on how much your wells producing how big your storage tanks are uh and how many people are going to be there so i put together like a little spreadsheet so yeah we as your agent if you’re interested in that we we’ve kind of learned some information yeah we now have a spreadsheet so when we look at how many gallons per minute is that well producing and we can tell you that’s going to be a problem or that’s great yeah you’re you’re done how many people yeah so it’s something as a realtor here in prescott you kind of have to be educated on um it’s kind of unusual we weren’t used to it coming from suburban areas and now we know what hauled water means even when they pronounce it a weird way now we get it so every day as i say living and learning or as my daughter sings that song all the time living and learning every day she says that every day yep she well it’s her song it’s her song it’s not not a not a popular one but not like a jay-z no no jay-z so yeah so that was something that we learned and are are now quite educated yeah so if you are coming here yeah and if you’re looking for some place remote particularly up the mountain uh you might be looking at hot water yep and uh and we can help you make a good decision there it’s it’s not necessarily a deal killer depends on um you know what you’re trying to do what you’re trying to accomplish so that is our little chapter on hold [Music] but i got it now so anyway i hope that this is a little tip for you if you’re thinking about living remotely things to keep in
