  hello hello hello hello peeps Rand and diam bro Here I Am the pickle lady yeah she’s pickle lady I am he is the pickle man pickle man girkin girkin yeah whatever whatever whatever so we are here um something we’d really like to share with all potential future buyers it’s a good thing to do uh and check out when you’re doing your due diligence when you’re moving into especially most of our folks are moving from out of state they are not used to this area they don’t know anything about it so um (00:39) it’s very important to do a lot of due diligence figure out if you’re concerned about crime yes we can’t give you percentages we don’t know I mean I’m not I’m not in the police force yes but we have a great resource for you to check out called Community Crim map.com yes so you oddly enough it is a map of the crime in your community thereally what it is so you can get on there and it will tell you suppose you’re looking at Prescot Lakes I want to move to Prescot Lakes uh what’s the crime rate there is (01:11) there a lot of crime uh does it go over sex offenders and it does so so you choose yeah it will ask you if it’s okay for it to dial into your location if that’s where you want to do your search uh or you can give it a zip code or an address or something you can give it a radius you know I want to know about everything within five miles or whatever it is and you get to pick the crime the crime that you’re interested in so you know maybe you’re KCK your crime yeah maybe you’re a criminal you want to know (01:44) where to go uh or maybe you just want to be safe and you want to make sure there’s no crime around you whatever crimes concern you choose those yep and in the time for the location that you’ve chosen for the time frame that you’ve chosen it will show you a map and it will point out every incident u in your community can you do several at one time like can you say sex offenders murders suicide you can oh cool so you don’t have to keep doing individual that’s cool people you don’t have to do (02:14) individual searches you can do it all in one Fell Swoop yeah yeah what about banking crimes no I’m kidding I I I don’t know if they they had specific but they do had they did have arm robbery oh really yeah I mean it’s very specific I want to say and and I’ll I’ll give a give you guys a screenshot you can see what I’m talking about that’s great but I guess it was um maybe about 50 different uh checkboxes that you could do and uh so if you’re just looking for Vi violent crimes or you know maybe you (02:49) have you know bought a car and you’re worried that someone’s going to steal your car you might want just crime crime theft I mean car theft car theft uh so you can kind of dial in what you want uh long story short I I checked most of the boxes I did five years and I did the whole Prescot area including PV and there was almost nothing there were a couple of U domestic uh violence you know uh in in in a couple of residential areas so you know that’s it wasn’t us you know it’s like yeah well just one (03:22) just one of them was us the rest of them were other people you know that’s a joke folks yeah that’s a joke she only beats me when uh when the when the police aren’t looking so uh yeah so so it there was very little going on and what was there was clearly like within a home so if a family so this is important to know as well in the state of Arizona um it does not have to be disclosed if you are selling a home if there was a murder there or a suicide or a death um sellers do not have to disclose that that’s (03:57) right if they don’t share it with us the agents first of all we’ll never know if they do share it with us we do not have to I don’t know if we’re allowed to say we’re not allowed unless we are specifically asked speciically asked if a buyer ask us directly and we know the answer yeah then we have to you know but it’s not an automatic disclosure so you should know that when you’re coming here to buy I know in certain States like California it has to be it’s written up it’s it’s in the disclosures (04:30) and it’s shared with everyone not so in Arizona so this uh Community crime map would be a good thing for you to try to investigate if you were worried about something like that um we may not always be told ourselves not all sell share anything you know with us so um so it’s it’s a good resource it’s a great res particularly when you were first looking at a community you know you don’t know the community that to me would be one of the very first filters is let tell me about the crime absolutely I don’t know (05:02) if it tells you suicides I I’d have to think about that but certainly you know uh uh violent assault and you know assault and battery breaking and entering all that stuff was in there that’s sound a little now we’re getting heavy yeah but but none of it showed up there was just uh just one or two it’s a downer but well I mean it’s it’s a downer if it’s there but it was at least not here not the other thing on this is you may be thinking about moving and uh one of the first things you want (05:33) to know about a potential new community for yourself is the crime you don’t want to go someplace where there’s lots of crime sure and uh despite what the FBI says you know crime I people’s the impression people have and most of the people I talk to crime’s kind of On The Rise um you know there’ve been uh uh police uh departments have been underfunded defunded you know there there’s a lot of stuff going on so you want to be very careful but I think you also want to check your own Community (06:05) yeah maybe you’re thinking I don’t know maybe I want to move I don’t I live in a great place newspapers vary from location to location some y some communities the newspapers will uh will re reveal everything others not so much things are glossed over yeah some in some areas things are glossed over so you may be very surprised at how many things are going on right around you that might be the last uh the last straw that helps you make up your mind to get out move forward so something to think about as well so I think it’s a great (06:42) resource and we love to share it with all of our clients it’s very important for you to do some studying up on that absolutely and see if wherever you’re going to wash up you’re going to be happy and you’re going to feel safe and secure uh odds are in Prescot and presca Valley you will be yes so it’s good to know um um so yeah we wanted to share that with you yeah to me it was a big confirmation because I’ve been saying for a while honestly I don’t know any areas that are dangerous here and and I (07:10) think the the crime statistics kind of bore that out so I so check it out when you’re doing your due diligence in whatever City you may wash up in it’s very helpful so we wanted to share that with uh all of our friends out there so hope we hope you find this helpful and uh that is our tip of the day monikers that’s right that’s a good word I like moniker you’re yeah I know so today we want to talk about something a little interesting about moving here to Prescot if you have puppy dogs look out for porcupine porcupine so we got a call from a friend of ours whose dog uh Piper Piper uh just let out in the backyard and came up with a whole bunch of quills evidently they almost like fire out I I always thought you had to like throw yourself on a porcupine evidently they come out like little arrows I I don’t know yeah when they’re threatened it just happens happens and it happens fast and uh so she was uh stuck a whole bunch ended up uh and they have barbs on them too so they’re very hard to remove it was um I mean the dog is going to be fine he’s fine but it’s not a fun process and we’re not talking about one or two quills I mean you could have aund quills all in your dog’s face and in body and and it’s very uncomfortable and you have to make sure you get the whole Barb out you can’t just take it upon yourself to pull it out because sometimes you leave a piece in there and then it’s another nightmare now I don’t want you to think you walk around presca and you see porcupines everywhere cupin are very well hidden they’re they’re nocturnal yeah and they do not like to be seen so uh generally you don’t see them if you don’t see them that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not there they’re there they’re hiding I had seen por golf course I think yeah this is a house that’s on the golf course I think they kind of like the golf course uh same as coyotes coyotes also kind of like golf courses uh so if you have property like that or looking to buy property like that just be careful yeah so when you put your pups out you should know do we have porcupines yes do we have Havalina yes do we have coyotes yes especially if you got a teeny tiny dog oh yeah never never have unsupervised outdoor time well this really small dog I mean we’ got Hawks you know oh Hawks and that’s true in a lot of areas I mean you know it’s not like we have this abundance of wildlife the same as true a lot of those animals were there in Texas as well but uh so make sure you have supervised yard time um don’t go to the grocery store and leave your dog outside in the yard you might come home to a disaster yeah now we have big dogs so uh you know the the Ravens and you know that they’re not going to carry around our dogs but uh porcupines even a even a very large dog can get uh injured by do so we uh we have a little print out here so we have a little print out yeah so we went to chat GPT we are harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to give some tips on how you can avoid having dog uh stuck by a not stuck not stuck that’s right so as I said have supervised outdoor time yep uh have make sure you have a good fence around that little critter say they borrow underneath I don’t know how practical that is I know but you can try but they they are pretty pretty creative there’s also such a thing who knew called porcupine repellant yeah so you can get porcupine repellents get training oh training how do you get train your dog train your dog to stay away get like a stunt porcupine that’s kind of stupid commands like stay yeah or leave it important my dogs would never listen to that never learn just like my children they would never listen to that but hey if you’ve got good dogs who will listen to that for you good uh have the porcupine repellent I didn’t know they had such a thing use commercial porcupine repellants these can deter porcupines from coming near your property there you go so I don’t know what what that scent is or what that is I don’t know but I guess you could find out and spray it around your yard probably Puli or something like that they also say to remove food sources like bird feeders or fruit that falls from your trees yeah yeah um they’re attracted to that because they want to come eat and they’re hungry so try to keep those things to a minimum and if you’ve got uh fruit trees in your yard pick up the rotten fruit because I that was car’s problem I think she has a fruit tree I think she yeah um make sure you keep your yard clean of all brush and extra logs and things that they could hide in or B burrow in and make a cute little house Y and uh they also like uh motion activated lights and sprinklers are very good to detract them and deter them from coming into your yard they don’t want to be a part of that at all they don’t like it that’s right a Sprinkle I really like it kind of Squirt yeah yeah make them run make them run that would keep me out of your yard not that I would do anything to your dog and lots of lights so yeah it’ll be good so anyway um that’s just something to keep in mind yeah if you got a little pup she kind of went through a bad experience had to rush him to the vet and it was not cheap okay so be aware that when you come here we are got Critters yeah so yeah and like I said this is not like a common thing this is the first time I heard of it happening uh unfortunately to a friend of ours but uh we just thought we let you know and yeah it’s a it’s a good it’s important to know so know remember supervision is the top thing as far as I’m concerned as well as having a fenced yard yeah so be on the lookout for porcupines and any other Critters that could hurt your your kitty cats or puppy dogs and stuff like that so in conclusion after our many valuable tips we just gave you um make sure you protect your kitty cat your puppy dogs um things are out there it’s not always bad but you should be aware um there are some Critters out there who could wreak havoc for your little your little pup or kit so that is your tip of the day if you like tips the place to go is Arizona here to help you find the perfect home in the perfect town I might add so we’re here to talk to you about something we call The Fringe The Fringe so we live personally in uh presc Lakes and there are some beautiful neighborhoods all around Prescot lakes that are not officially Under the Umbrella of Prescot Lakes but we call it the Fringe The Fringe or Prescot Lakes adjacent yes that’s the uh that’s the 20 Buck no that’s the expensive version of it The Fringe is kind of The Fringe on the edge so some people are like you know I like the Lakes but I don’t really care about all those HOAs I’m not going to play golf I’m not really interested so we can find you some beautiful neighborhoods next door uh in The Fringe areas or the Prescot Lakes adjacent area so don’t think there’s only Prescot Lakes there are many other beautiful neighborhoods here it’s a good area of town to be in because it’s close to it’s quiet but it’s also close to downtown and the uh the commercial areas so it’s very convenient very nice uh if Prescot Lakes is a destination a lot of people like Prescot Lakes they’re looking for Prescot Lakes um if you are a couple things you need to know if you are a golfer and you’re definitely going to sign up for a golf membership at presc Lakes then it doesn’t matter where you live you can live in The Fringe you can live anywhere in town and for just a little extra money you can get full access to everything that Prescot Lakes has you can join Prescot Lakes Golf yeah even if you don’t live in even if you don’t live in the it’s a little bit extra cost not that much more but you can buy a Golf Course membership golf membership not course but anyway you can buy a golf membership and add on a little bit extra and still have access to the restaurant and to the athletic center and the pools and all of that even if you live outside of Prescot lakes that is still an option for you it will cost you a little bit more money but if that’s you know not much it’s it’s still something that could work for you yeah so and then generally you’ll pay less money for your house because things in The Lakes go for a bit of a premium and chances are you won’t pay the high HOAs that you have to pay inside Prescot Lakes too right so if you’re definitely going to get a golf membership that’s an option obviously if you don’t care about any of the amenities in presc Lakes well obviously you goodbye forever goodbye forever you can live wherever you want that’s right if you aren’t going to get a golf membership you can get a social membership that’s like7 75 $80 a month $70 a month there you go it will give you access to to the restaurant events not the Athletic Club so you’re not going to get the whole club that’s right if that’s okay with you that’s fine but uh if you want that then you kind of have to and you’re not getting a golf membership you have to go inside and we have a lot of friends who don’t live in preset Lakes proper but they live in The Fringe in some other areas and theyve joined the golf and we see them just as often as if they lived here so if you find a home that’s not in Prescot lakes and you’re absolutely in love but you want some of the amenities it’s still open to you guys it’s not a a deal killer okay so also too I should mention uh there’s another area in town called hampa they have a club well it’s not tied to the Su uh to the subdivision anymore which is what I was going to say it’s called Capitol Canyon you can live anywhere you want and join Capitol Canyon that’s right so that’s another example there’s a lot of options you can live in The Fringe right outside you know the club would still be uh convenient for for you but you’re not going to pay the HOA fees and all that absolutely and then there’s also free public courses yes at Stone Ridge it’s a public course Antelope Hills so there’s a lot of options okay available to you so if you find that dream home and it’s not necessarily in one of these quote Golf Course communities you can still join even though it’s private you may pay a little bit extra but that’s still an option available to you whether it be Capitol Canyon or Prescot lakes or any of those so a lot of options and the Fring is good The Fringe is good don’t worry the pickle lady will go through all the options with you to narrow it down to what you will really make you happy yeah so we can explore all of those areas and show it to you until you find the right one and then you’re happy as a clam that’s what we’re here for people that’s what we’re here for that’s our hello hello hello we’re gonna we’re gonna share a little personal story personal story today about Randall and I mostly about me mostly about him um are you gonna put your picture up from the airport that was so funny yeah I could do that that was fun I can do that make sure you put that up because all right so for exposition uh we’ve got these two crazy dogs uh they are half German shepherd and half Belgian Shepherd or malinoa if anybody knows anything about shepher melon was you appreciate the situation we’re in yeah they high energy does not do it justice we’ve had any number of dogs these are by far the most energetic and the sweetest and the sweet so sweet but super protective they are good guard dogs but the funny thing is um you know we realized after this was a midlife crisis decision maybe one dog would have been good what were we thinking at our age to handle two of these um but hey we’re committed um we’re making it work we do love them they’re a riot but anyway we take them to run because our yard isn’t big enough yeah every morning we take them out we we we were going pretty regularly to the dog park you’ve SE we’ve had videos on the dog and we have a good time we still go there we had a good time we still go there from time to time but our our good friends Skip and Kathy uh they found just an open field out by the airport yeah and so we’ve been taking them out there and just big Open Fields and they they just love to run run and beautiful and Skip and Kathy will meet us there a few times with their dog Ranger is his name our dogs are Frankie and Molly so Frankie and Molly go there three of them go crazy together that’s right so Randle goes out and and we let him run and they’re having a good time and we’re throwing the ball and you know like normal people do and then our dog saw a deer yeah the prong horn so I don’t know if they’re antalope or a type of type of deer they’re like dandal opes I I don’t so that was it they were like oh so boom off they go and they can run like the wind they can cover a mile in five five seconds oh yeah it’s unbelievable so anyway so off they go so Randall’s call them they’re not coming so then they don’t come back so then Randall decides I’m gonna go find him he starts walking he could grows over the first Hill so I’m waiting like 25 minutes I’m like hm nobody’s coming back so I cross the hill and then I find the dogs and I take them back to the car I’m like well I’ll call Randall and him found him let’s go home he left his phone in the car so then I start walking the field I put the dogs on a leash this time and I start walking the fields looking for them can’t find them I mean for miles and miles and miles he’s nowhere to be found so after another 20 minutes then I start getting worried and I start thinking did he trip did he fall did he have a heart attack is he laying out in a field somewhere and I can’t see him so I called two good friends Skip and Randy again Randy Al who were kind enough to fly over there and see if they can walk the field too in the meantime another friend got wind they leave their golf game they come over and they’re about to walk the field too so this the purpose of the story is not only is it amusing that Randall was he keeps insisting he was not lost I was not lost I was not lost I knew where I was I knew how to get back I was just taking a long time because he was way there yeah the dogs managed a lot of Hills so every time you go up a hill there’s another Hill that you see that they might be hiding behind so he kept Crossing so I kept Crossing Hills until I ran out of Hills yeah I didn’t know that she already they snuck around so in the meantime we’ve got the posi out to look for him uh and then after 40 minutes we still couldn’t find him so they couldn’t find him either so I call the police so this is a shout out to first of all good friends good friends we have never by by the way all of these friends we met in preset we didn’t know any of these people so this is a shout out to Dear dearest friends if you were looking to move here and you’re scared like I don’t know anybody neither did we yeah but I will tell you these are probably some of the best friends we’ve ever had definitely some of the best um they people here in Prescot they just have your back yeah they do I mean and I don’t know if it’s because everybody’s retired but I mean the call went out everybody showed up to walk the Hills was looking for this idiot um and then the police came and the three of them came and they had Hightech you know binoculars and we found him they could spot him way off let’s just say uh as one of our friends said damn Randall you almost made it to Jerome and if you live here you know where Jerome is I did I kept walking until there were no more Hills and that’s a pretty long walk I probably walked U I’d say a couple miles so anyway it it made me feel good and I I want to give a shout out to the police too they were so professional they came out right away um they they have their own process because a lot of people get lost hiking and stuff so they have their own process they immediately got into it and we all start searching and looking and then we see him and then anyway they found him and Randall came walking back took a long time because he has a New Orleans stroll if you’re from New Orleans you know what that means they don’t walk fast you don’t walk fast when it’s humid and I’m like Rand oh God everybody’s waiting for you hustle but anyway um so we had a good laugh that day yeah we took everybody to lunch so we took everybody to lunch because it really honestly really touched our heart how our friends immediately came uh rallied around us went to help us went to find the police rallied came out right away um you just don’t see it that often anymore but that’s small town living folks we look out for each other and we care about each other and of course now we tease him unmercifully which is part of friendship as well yes they call me the wanderer now he’s Randall The Wanderer rall The Wanderer I have not had such a good laugh in all so we went we went to this restaurant there was a restaurant out by the airport that’s right which is where this field was and there was a picture on on the wall I don’t know where the picture came from and we don’t know who the guy is the joke is it’s me and and I’m by that uh by the uh the air strip the airst strip looking for the dogs that’s how far he made it that’s the joke so uh he will never live that down um we all still laugh about it hardcore and um but it’s just to let you know what a sense of community we have here yeah we really do a lot of people looking out for you everybody looks out and the police were delightful they they did a you know they wanted to make sure that I wasn’t I don’t know scile or whatever so they asked me who’s the president of the United States I said I’ve been gone a while I think it’s Camala Harris and I thought that was pretty funny so yeah I mean so good town good good response from your police uh shout out to you the police department of presc we cannot thank you enough I did write a personal letter for each uh agent who came out to help us and gave him some pickles gave him some pickles and we also dropped off some gift cards as a thank you um love to see the quick response and the care and also to our friends we just gave them lunch that’s all yeah but that was okay um and our love of course and our love so and we would do the same for them in a heartbeat so here’s a toast to them to thank you skip thank you Randy thank you Bob thank you Charlie thank you to the police officers we cannot thank you enough all’s well that ends well with this crazy one here and uh let’s just say she was really trying to kill me she doesn’t want I wasn’t trying to kill him I was no no please save me I want to kill you now she was coming out to kill me I’m going to she was going to turn the dogs on me yeah they called him in for a private interview no they didn’t are you afraid of the pickle lady is there anything you need to tell us she is she threatening you in any way I if you’ve seen is the movie Tombstone there’s a a reference to Prescot there so that movie is very popular in this town and there’s a famous line it says I’m your huckleberry yeah so when they finally found me I said he said I’m your I’m huckle bear so good town people we all have your back here so you should know that if you’re worried about moving you know it’s a it’s a good Community here um we really value neighbors and we really value our police and the police value us and they look out for you so nothing but good things to say about good friends and and a good police force so thank you and alls well that ends well the dogs were fine Mr bro was fine yeah none the worse for where none the worse so uh anyway we all got a good laugh out of that and the wonderer here
