listings our new listings it’s a lovely house at 1710 gilmer right here in prescott uh as you can see of our shoulder amazing thumb view views yeah and we thought you know what let’s come and enjoy her lovely deck here she’s got an amazing deck nestled amongst the boulders here we sort of have a great house well we kind of didn’t tell her but i think i think she’d be cool we’re okay we’re we’re drinking coffee oddly enough it’s not steaming or anything it is but it’s a new blend it’s a new blend google it’s the new blend it’s coffee yeah so anyway we thought let’s take advantage of this great location yeah and this deck and come here to talk about coffee here in prescott been meaning to talk about coffee houses for a while uh coffee is very important to people and uh people ask us all the time you know is there starbucks there i can’t live without starving i think we’re really like a teeny tiny town yeah listen we are hustling with coffee you don’t portland seattle all those places have nothing on us they really don’t they don’t i mean prescott has it all uh we have the the fast food type of coffee like yeah starbucks and all that and then we have just independent independence we have changed independent coffee houses that are just awesome so just to be clear let’s start with starbucks yes we have like six yeah starbucks locations yes we have starbucks in most of our grocery stores uh we have a starbucks on each highway yes we have a starbucks right by our office i’m very familiar with them right i frequent them i frequent them frequently however i have to say one of my newer favorite ones is uh a new uh it’s a chain it’s a new no no but where are they in general in the united states they’re just starting to come here we know they’re in prescott and chino valley we’re short i love scooter shout out to you scooter shout out to you good service speedy service speedy service and you know what i like the best they know who i am now yeah they’re like hey pickle lady how’s it going today yeah absolutely i need a big coffee because i’ve got a big day with some buyers they’re very very fast they’re very very good i’ve never had an order screwed up nope uh they do the payment through the app which is really cool yeah they get it right the first time and their business is primarily drive through which i know is absolutely essential for you it is essential for me yeah if you don’t have a drive-through the pickled ladies not buying no i don’t have because i don’t have time yeah but we also have dutch brothers which is huge as well yeah they are also my favorite super cheerful people super pop super up super lots of things lots of good music they have started down in phoenix i’m not sure we found out about it because our daughter was at asu very popular at asu drinking lots of coffee drinks and starting to have severe heart palpitations yeah so we kind of had to cut back on that for her we’re like hey maybe you’re hitting it a little too hard yeah they do uh energy drinks energy drinks with coffee yeah yeah she was over doing a little bit try the kokomo if you’ve never been at the dutch brothers try the kokomo it’s a coconut uh mocha coffee thing and uh really really good really really good so what else do we have oh a local one is cuppers covers is a local uh coffee shop yeah that’s locally owned and they are all so good let’s see what else but bosa is a new one both sides you can go in and get donuts and coffee and we haven’t been there yet but we need to try i have you have yeah yeah we headed into the office so i tried their donuts they’re done they’re always together it’s always weird if you like fluffy doughnuts if you will have another wine down about donuts i don’t think you’re looking for donuts to be fluffy but evidently some people are and they’re donuts are described as marvelously fluffy but i hear their coffee is also very good their uh cake donuts are very good so that’s bo sappos is new so i guess they’re bosa nova aha i like it yeah that’s funny let’s try the veal okay the other good thing is that they have a lot of independent coffee shops here that are very charming lots of people go there for little business meetings uh students go there to yeah work friends go there just to have a nice quiet little place yeah so you mentioned you mentioned cuppers so first one it’s locally owned locally they have a really nice place on montezuma that has like a little courtyard uh so good to bring the dog and just have the outdoors so uh wild iris is another wild iris very cute we brought it out that courtyard a lot yeah they have a courtyard in the front that’s outside the inside is also quite spacious we bring clients there quite often um some others are i’m reading off my list yeah we offer you a list here yeah i’m sorry if i’m not looking directly at the camera yeah firehouse coffee fire has coffee so they are right across the square and they’re in a shop in bashford court which is kind of like a little mini mall a little old-fashioned mini mall yeah and uh i hear their coffee is very good but i’ve never tried it myself the porch coffee porch coffee merchant coffee merchant coffee espresso barn we pass all the time yes and method comments method coffee is wi-fi fries i’ve heard some people speak very highly of method coffee also locally owned so that’s you know one two three four five six seven eight nine ten different choices other than starbucks and when you have half an oven half a dozen starbucks you don’t have to move to seattle or portland yeah you know to have the coffee scene we got the coffee scene going on here frankie loves it come on frank franklin because she gets yeah they give her popcorn everybody has a different variation yeah and she thoroughly appreciates very good popcorn they do they get a little bonus they give good popcorn they give good say that a lot that’s what frank says yes hi frankie yes absolutely but anyway so we just kind of wanted to share with you uh you know and enjoy this beautiful view and let you know about um my coffee here just some coffee here coffee’s important we know that it’s hip it’s happening uh Prescott’s Mt. Artists Guild

Prescott has a thriving cultural scene – with artists and musicians and all the things that make a city vibrant and fun. This week we join our good friend, “Jeannie-Weannie,” who gives us a quick tour of Prescott’s Mountain Artists Guild facility and shows us some of her own works displayed there in her gallery.

hello hello hello pickle peeps i am so excited to be here today with my good friend jeannie jeannie russo our fellow artist here she was a former client but now she’s just become a friend and we really enjoy spending time with her anyway we are here at the art guild right this is the mountain artist guild in prescott arizona and in this building we have the art gallery several rooms two rooms in the main room we have jewelry paintings sculptures lots of artistic things also housed in this uh building is the avapai symphony office so we’re we have lots of culture here we have private studios along one wall and a big workspace down below for uh for workshops so it’s it’s it’s just fabulous that even in a little small town like this they have an amazing uh culture here for art music and jeannie has been able to exhibit all of her work here which is absolutely gorgeous so we came down today we get a chance to see all the artwork here and see genies as well so it’s really great here if you are of an artistic bent if you love music if you love painting ceramics whatever we actually have a niche here for you people can come here and share their art and and and develop their skills right yes definitely and right now we’re open um tuesday through friday only from 10 in the morning until four closed on the weekends and the art walk is not happening because of copenh but one of these days we’ll get back into full swing and we’ll be open every day of the week that’s right there’s an art walk here uh on the first friday of every month uh in the past all the galleries were open and it’s a beautiful little walking tour throughout downtown prescott and you can see all kinds of different galleries right now we’re on lockdown right hence the mask my face shield and my genie also complies but she wants you to be able to hear her so anyway uh if you’re making a trip to prescott make sure you check it out and see what our little small town has to offer you in terms of the arts right so if you need any help looking for a home or buying a home selling call us we’re the ones to contact you and we’ll hook you up with all these cool places to check out here in town okay thanks bye

Haunted Road Trip

What better way to celebrate an anniversary than sharing a burger with some local ghosts? Well, during our latest road trip in the Pickle Van, there were indeed some spirits… but no apparitions. Join the fun as we visit one of our favorite haunts with some very good friends in the Asylum.

hello hello hello oops this is randall and i am bro here driving through our lovely prescott and our pickle van in our pickle van yahoo hope for the pickle van starting to get some waves now from people who recognize the pickle van which comes by and we try that’s right boy these people are so friendly what’s up yeah and then i realized they just like the pickle so i wave hello so we took the pickle van out to jerome uh we did this past weekend with some wonderful friends of ours who are celebrating their anniversary was it 40 40 55 years 45 so we decided hey let’s take a ride up to jerome which is only 45 minutes away from our lovely town of prescott it’s um an old mining town yeah and a beautiful little ride gorgeous scenery so we all pile into the pickle time there a great time back yes there’s some great restaurants up there of course they’re no longer actively mining it is kind of um an abandoned mining town but it’s filled with cute little shops it’s filled with cute little galleries art galleries a lot of artists go up there and also uh great restaurants yeah they have uh historic things they’re you know like uh over from the mining days and you can kind of check it’s really kind of cool um i have to say i’d rather go i would recommend that you go in the fall or winter a tad hot it’s a little warm it’s a little warm but going in the fall is stunning um all the leaves are changing and you get to see that as you’re winding through uh the mountains and all that but great great food there uh haunted hamburgers is a big popular tourist destination yeah that’s kind of where we were planning on going but wanted burgers is kind of right in the thick of things right it was uh we were there on a sunday yes a lot of people there and i think the weight was like an hour and a half or something so we went instead to what was the old asylum they actually had an asylum apparently when you’re a minor you pretty much go nuts pretty quickly kind of like real estate yeah kind of like real estate no that’s it most real estate agents at one time used to be minors that’s your mother but anyway so they have uh uh an old place there that used to be the asylum where people would go and they’d be committed and spend spend some time so they come back to reality and anyway now it’s a great hotel and uh also a restaurant supposed to be haunted as well if you stay at the hotel supposedly you’ll see some miners the whole town’s supposed to be yeah you’re right i haven’t seen anything yet what’s nice about the asylum is it’s a little more off the beaten path yeah so you you kind of drive your car down this little alley kind of thing right and up this hill and you get out there and then you kind of beat the crowd don’t make the mistake that we did don’t walk over the hill yeah you might not want to walk that uh it is pretty high altitude and in the heat yeah we almost died but we enjoyed that first beer i’ll take the first beer when we finally made it up there it was awesome yeah so but anyway i might have seen some ghosts because i think i was slightly passing out hallucinating and that the hike up yeah but anyway uh great place it’s just fun it’s just a great place to go and it’s only 45 minutes from prescott yeah and there’s a nice little drive through the mountain yeah so if you want a nice little getaway a quick getaway and see some great art galleries uh have some good grub it’s just a very charming little place to visit and we were very lucky to go with our friends bob and karen you’ll see their pictures shortly they’re cute as a button and married 45 years so happy anniversary to you friends and um that is all that is helpful we just wanted to share with you our pictures from jerome and tell you about what a cute little day trip you could have yeah absolutely once you live here in corsica yep all right that’s all that’s all until next time have a good day bye

hello hello hello my little pickle peeps out there pickle peeps out there randall bro here big daddy’s aggravating me giving me direction because he says i’m not standing correctly but anyway now you are now i am sorry i’m trying to get you in the mountain okay see the mountain i hope everybody appreciates right there mountain yeah little hill there very important very important okay yeah all right now that we’ve got that settled i am diane bro here with randall bro we are your local prescott pickle peep and uh you’ll find out why we’re the pickle peeps when you come in uh we give you some of our world famous now world famous because i’m shipping it all over all over the world pickles that’s it uh and we love it when our our clients come in we greet you with a little jar of pickles absolutely just a little recap so you know what the hell are those people talking about when they call themselves the the press get pickled people that’s us that’s why yes but anyway i digress yes you do we’re here to talk about vegas road trips we just got back from a fabulous vegas fabulous fabulous we had so much fun yeah it was great and it was shout out to grandma bobby hello bobby we took randall’s mom that’s my mom’s grandma bobby for to celebrate her 80th i hope she doesn’t mind if we divulge that she looks awesome yes she does we had a great time and uh just the three of us went just us three three little chickens went yeah she flew into vegas and we took the like four hour trip and that’s what we wanted to drive yeah living here in prescott is amazing so if you’re like you know what i’m gonna go see some good shows some good concerts we’re only a four-hour drive from vegas how sweet is that yeah and it’s a beautiful drive it’s a calm drive the shows were great the shows were great so we hopped in the car we met her in vegas we saw several shows we had some great dinners um and then we even did it was thanksgiving we even did uh thanksgiving day there which was amazing oh yeah yeah we ate the buffet it’s called the buffet it’s kind of okay at the buffet uh the win yeah the win and um so we did that which is great way if you don’t want to do all that cooking head to vegas it was awesome it was so great so we wanted to just talk about how awesome it is to live that close to some great entertainment and good good dining and some footage some footage first in here a number of the hotels uh all decked out absolutely uh we were there shortly before the holiday season so i don’t think we got too much holiday we didn’t get to see all of it but apparently you know they deck it out at christmas maybe you’re sure we’ll have to go again you have to go again and get some christmas footage these are problems good worth having but that is one of the perks of living here in prescott yeah we are amazingly close to some really cool and fun cities yeah yeah yeah and you can have your friends fly in uh and meet them there like we did absolutely that’s a great way to do it so you’ll see some scenes some live scenes live action scenes of our visit to vegas our road trip to vegas baby right oh yeah oh yeah so anyway just wanted to let you know yeah that’s uh one of the one of our little advantages of getting here yeah being close to some some cool cities that you can quickly get to and easily yep lots of fun lots of fun all right that’s it for today if you needed to reach out to me uh you can reach me at 713-302-1964 or preschooler.com that’s our website that’s right lots of cool information there for you sellers people who own property here in prescott and are looking for some help selling it we can help you there too we sell prescott.com is where you want to go so we’re the power team the power pickle team power pow power very powerful very impressive we’re ready to help you make a new start absolutely all alright guys have a wonderful day talk to you soon bye

hello hello hello hey peeps i don’t know if you can recognize us because right now we’re kind of christmas elves yeah but this is diane bro and my better half randall bro correct and part of the pickle lady brigade so cheers to that here’s that so we wanted you to see our new christmas sweater and all of its glory couldn’t be more thrilled he very happy you’re thrilled with this woman’s sweater that you bought you should wear it proudly say i even have pom-pom you have a pom-pom too i’m channeling my yeah but anyway or something so we are very excited we can take the hoods off because it’s getting a little hot but anyway we are very excited tonight or this evening to talk we’re in front of the old our own christmas tree fireplace and this is in the air yeah a little brown wine here he has brown wine i have real one but we are super excited to be here this evening to talk about what is it randall bro christmas and prescott christmas impressions particularly christmas music yes we should have someone in the background huh yeah but that’s all right just pretend that we’re humming something or snoopy’s charlie brown or something like that but anyway um as you know i think we’ve mentioned this before prescott is called arizona’s christmas city that’s right it is gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous guys come here plan a visit now the lights were just the whole town square lit up officially on december 7th that’s right all around the courthouse it’s like the first saturday of december yeah i do it i think and it’s over a hundred thousand likes i mean you’ll feel like you’re you know back and you know you’re in some hallmark movie yeah some christmas hallmark movie absolutely beautiful it’s beautiful absolutely but besides that christmas is a beautiful time to come here the elks theater um has a lot of special christmas shows yeah it’s a big time for music here in prescott what with the elks theater uh but before the else theater gets into christmas mode we have acronite so somebody had another first yeah so akronite was named after this guy james zacker he was a philanthropist had nothing to do with establishing acronym he was just such a nice guy they named it after him huge philanthropist yeah beautiful they’ve been doing action right now for over 30 years right and uh a lot of the businesses in the downtown area participate uh they will open shop at at night right and so they start like for instance this week it’ll be this friday they only do it one night and it’s a huge charitable fundraiser yeah and so actually it’s tonight because by the time they see this oh you’re right we’re gonna pretend yeah but pretend we’ll protect this uh tomorrow night though we will be there we’re very excited yeah we’re we’ll go and so all of the little shops around the immediate square and and the outskirts of it will stay open extra late normally they close a little earlier they stay open late they have some uh some of them have hors d’oeuvres and little you know some wine but they all have musicians local musicians that will come in and perform all kinds of stuff i mean any kind of music you can think of will be represented there and uh it’s it’s free but they do ask for donations right and the donations go to the musicians correct so i’m not sure what the it’s for the arts musicians need you know instruments and right music lessons and those sheets of paper with those squiggly symbols on them and those kinds of things so it’s a you know i do fundraiser for the owner for music yes and so it’s a great time to go enjoy the square and all of its beauty and all the lights and get to go to all these different little shops yep and um there’s a lot of art galleries along the square too and it’s all sort of like mint cider yeah all that kind of stuff it’s a big social event it’s a big event here in prescott and um it’s you this year it will be december 13th they hold it once a year it’s just a lot of fun it is it is and we enjoy it and it’s not trying to get up that’s the start of our weekend because after that we’re going to hit elk’s theater we are hitting hard this weekend we are partying partying pretty hard yes the holidays are started yeah first we had some lovely neighbors who had our little supper club and they had a little uh winter christmas dinner yeah yeah we just got fished a little christmas so that was fun that was the start of it so thank you to the churchill to the church yeah and then uh this friday night we’re going to akron as we said yeah and then uh saturday night we’re going to the elks to see the rat pack so it’s uh in person yeah yeah frank sinatra and dean martin and sammy davis and whoever the fourth guy is correct and they’re gonna be singing some of the oldie peter lawford you never get it right peter lawford no you said chris lawford and then i changed it and then i changed it as long as you got it right now i got it right it’s all that matters so now the the the impersonators do the right pack and then for christmas so it’d be kind of like a big they’re uh send off to uh their old vegas uh yeah christmas shows so we’re excited about that we’re going with some friends to that having a little bite to eat before yeah and going to the rat pack christmas at the outset yeah theater itself is gorgeous it’s a old historic landmark uh it’s really refurbished it’s just one of those old school small town theaters uh just just beautiful uh the iconic elk on top of it yeah gigantic very large gigantic elk on top of the yeah yeah it’s on top of the building what do you think that is what do you think it’s made out of something adorable it’s not made of elk no it’s not it’s not taxidermied yeah no yeah it’s like some kind of bronze bronze that’s what it is i think it’s one of those metals but yeah one of those hardcore that can survive for many years yeah who knows i don’t know it’s pretty cool yeah and then on sunday so this is what i’m saying the bros are having fun i’m telling you we’re out here we’re gonna wear our christmas sweaters we’re out here enjoying what this great city has to offer during during the christmas month during the holidays and it’s all about music this weekend yes music so sunday we’re going to see esteban classical guitarist spanish style classical guitarist he’s amazing uh studied under segovia and he is he is a treasure and we have him he lives here in president he lives here in prescott yeah it’s super super cool a treasure yeah so he did a great concert uh for mother’s day and now he’s doing a christmas concert so so we are super psyched about that we’re going to enjoy that yeah absolutely so we’re kicking off our holidays in good form we’ve been working hard super hard this week this year it’s been crazy lots of people are still coming in yeah hey we’ll work with you we’ll show you whatever you need to see yeah whatever you need to say we’ll bring you mult cider and we’ll sing a christmas tune correct take you to go see houses no problem we’re working whether it’s been nice and crisp really fun it’s been beautiful yeah if you haven’t it’s good oh real really cheers life is good life is good if you haven’t decided on which one of these is my group one of them is my navel i think i don’t know but yeah if this town at christmas doesn’t capture your heart and make you you’re a grinch yeah you’re a great you are officially a grinch no doubt about it you’re missing out on having a great life here in prescott just for the christmas season alone or the holiday season just the right pack that’s it’s not too late Halloween 2019

When it comes to fun and over-the-top charm, few places do Halloween like Prescott. In this episode the Pickle Lady explains how Halloween works in our little town and shares some of the decorations on Prescott’s signature street – which becomes Spook Central during the Halloween season.

hello hello hello hey babes i am so psyched are you she’s also i’m psyched but i’m also you’re the pickle lady i i don’t know it’s nice to be you with the pic lady i know this is why we’re psyched i am diane bro this is randall bro we’re super psyched super excited because we are here out today on mount vernon a couple of days before this is spook central central prescott arizona halloweentown halloweentown prescott is amazing at halloween mainly because you come to this main drag on mount vernon which is filled with lovely lovely lovely um older homes some of the oldest homes uh since prescott was born yeah absolutely gorgeous a lot of them on the historic district um right this ghost is coming again oh my gosh but anyway um so what’s lovely here a great tradition the town has is all of the kids in prescott will collect here on mount vernon the police lock down the street they have it all lit up and they have all kinds of everyone who participates on the street will have great halloween decorations and about two thousand three thousand kids will just walk up and down both sides yeah it’s a lot of kids most of the uh most most of the neighborhoods don’t have enough kids to really do a real trick or treat right uh so they close down this old old-timey street and this is where all the kids come so the demographics are not do not bode well for a lot of little children so we collect them all that’s right and then maybe at the end some of the older people sacrifice them no we don’t i don’t remember children ever being sacrificed that’s a very dark chapter yeah a very dark turn i just made yeah forget i just said that that was for the old days i don’t think they do that anymore they don’t do that anymore they have gotten more current yeah with the time so we no longer sacrifice the young children to turn along you know the older generation’s life that’s a joke that’s totally a gym halloween joke no but because we do have a smaller demographic of kids they do come here it’s so lovely it’s so charming the street is just gorgeous filled with old trees i mean honestly it’s like mayberry it is it is it’s so nice and so a lot of the homes here will have big parties and all their friends will come and they have live music playing and yeah it’s just um something really nice it’s a pretty cool tradition it is and most of the uh the homeowners here go through a lot of trouble to decorate their homes uh for halloween and i’ll intersperse some of the so you’ll be seeing some of the scenes yeah what they do it’s so it’s just incredible it’s really really last night we came and we walked it and we filmed it at nighttime too so today you can see all the beautiful homes in the daytime and see how pretty there they are decorated and then you’ll see some nighttime shows yeah some night time shots too so something to keep in mind if you come here uh have the grandkids come for halloween especially if it’s on the weekend yeah and then you can take your grandkids or just come by yourself you don’t have to be a particular age no age requirement it’s just for anybody who thoroughly loves fall and loves the gorgeous halloween here that mount vernon has to offer it’s from here and you get some candy and sometimes some alcoholic fruits yeah sometimes sometimes those are the cool houses that’s right but anyway it’s a great time and it’s something you should experience it just reminds me of old times small town that’s right absolutely so anyway uh reach us if you need anything or if you want to know where mount vernon is it’s off of germany and uh maybe we’ll see you here but maybe so so if you need to reach me you can call me at 713-302-1964 you’ll see a link there to our prescient relocation center lots of great information about the community things you need to know if you’re thinking about or have already decided to come and join or if you’re interested in listing your home we sell prescott dot com or prescottpickleny.com you’ll see a link there to our seller uh our listing site so whether you’re buying or selling uh you can reach out to us please do that’s what we’re all about absolutely right yeah are you scared a little don’t be scared if i’m mostly scared of you protect you i will protect you all right calm yourself
