hello hello hello peeps welcome back to another version of the wind down that’s good pickle ladies one day yeah coming back at you here Diane and Randall bro here in Prescott happy to talk to you about our favorite thing puppy dog the dogs this is called doggie Redux that’s right we’re gonna talk about it again that’s right because we just love dogs yeah we’ve had a number of episodes in the past about dogs at dog park and bringing your dog to different places around town uh but uh you know dogs keep coming back so dogs keep coming back they’re uh in our hearts um you know you’ll see a lot of them and sadly back in November we lost one of our favorite pups and it was very traumatic terrible experience I did very unexpected totally young yeah totally unexpected so instead uh to recover from all that what did we do we went and adopted two two dogs two dogs sisters who look exactly like her and another dog we had that’s right prior to that so now we’ve got two dogs that duplicated the original two we had and we just named them the same thing you might hear from them in a second they may bark or wine which one of them is doing right now he wants to be part of the part of the recording but we wanted to stress again if you are a dog lover Prescott is the place Prescott’s a great place for it everybody loves their dogs here it’s a great way to meet people especially right yeah the dog parks yeah so when when dog uh when Frankie uh passed yeah you know Diane would take the dog out walking all the time and it’s amazing how quickly people started asking I haven’t seen you out with Frankie I know we had quite a little community in the early morning the early morning Walkers yeah um and after she passed I had people I hadn’t even met before but apparently they would have their morning coffee and watch me and Frankie walk by and they’re like oh we missed that beautiful black dog I said oh I’m so yeah it was sad but so interesting yeah we’re still training the new dogs and we’re trying to car train them as well Frankie uh was a big fan of car rides so at least once a day more like twice a day she would jump in the back of my car and I’d roll the windows windows down four and we’d go through town or whatever and people got used to seeing the big black dog that held the window and you’re gonna see a lot of those cars too A lot of people drive by with their dogs lots of dogs out uh it’s just a really uh warm and welcoming community Unity for pups especially restaurants love them restaurants welcome them people walk around the square people go to the parks and bring their chairs and meet other people so it is a great way if you’re new here to meet new people who also love dogs as well but it’s just good to have a dog it’s just good to have too it’s absolutely Although our hounds of hell I don’t know right now they’re trying my patience yeah they’re they’re puppies and we’re training them so uh they haven’t been to the dog park yet they just got their shots yeah uh they’re not crazy about car rides but they’re getting bigger I think probably within the next couple of months you’ll see me driving around with two dogs two dogs and they go get their pup cups and their whipped cream and they love it yeah so life is good life is good so if you have pups life is good is even better here in Prescott if you have pups you’ll love it and uh you’ll see how welcoming our town is to puppies I put some links in the bottom of this episode that will take you to other videos about dogs in the dog park and all that for your reference that’s right uh just another tip if you’re coming to Prescott you’re into dogs you’re in the right place you got it uh if you’re into tips the place to go is pickle411.com that is our free information site whether you are a buyer seller somewhere in between there is information waiting for you that will Astound amaze and entertain you to no end we try to deliver people we really try to deliver absolutely all right so that’s our tip for the day we’ll show you maybe some footage of our new pups yeah absolutely they’re so cute yeah I’ll interspace them some dog footage in you’ll see you’ll see what we’re what we’re dealing with that’s right okay so we welcome you and your pups that’s right come on into uh Prescott another tip too is sometimes you have people who bring their doggies they’re welcome to come on the house hunt with you oh that’s right yeah that’s right come on in our van yeah we we make room for your pup and uh they’re welcome to join in the house hunt as well that’s right so anyway just want to throw that out too because we welcome your animals yeah we welcome your problem yeah all right have a great day and we hope to hear from you soon bye cheers

In this episode, we share stories of the great trips we've recently made with our buddy groups... plus a cool app that makes paying bills for large groups a snap.

Gemma Bell Randall this is Diana Randall bro here in Prescott Arizona we are your local hopefully favorite Realtors yes we sure have a lot of fun yeah we do meeting everybody new and old and uh having friendships after we sell we’ve met some great people but uh in fact some of these people have become such good friends we are now traveling yeah so traveling groups is a big thing here yeah people make friends they end up forming little groups the groups get bigger yep uh so uh we’re we’re about to head out uh on a little jaunt yes uh with eight of our friends including us so six of our friends yes yeah uh we just got back from uh another one early in December we went to Key West yeah another eight people for 10 days yeah so it’s real big here I guess because most folks are retired unlike us but that’s okay yeah we try to schlep in there anyway get in there and have fun with all the retired folk but uh so yeah they’ll reach out and say hey I’d like to get a couple of airbnbs nearby who wants to join us I want to get a condo I want to get this I want to go I want we want to go on a cruise does anybody want to join us and we’ve been invited to several of those so much fun yeah now we haven’t been on vacations before friends family and honestly um it’s a mixed bag you know if you don’t quite gel with the other people on the trip you know it’s gonna it’s gonna keep nagging you the whole time we’ve had really good luck we’ve had a great time yeah everyone seems to be of the same mind and uh we we’ve had really good luck with with uh with our vacations with our friend groups absolutely and you know once you have one you know they kind of roll over then you do another trip yeah you know you kind of have the uh the draft you know where one one couple gets traded off to the other and you get you can’t quite make it but you have somebody else that’s in the group that could fill the Slime substitute absolutely yeah but we all get along great yeah um and so we went to Costa Rica we’ve done Key West we’re going to do New Orleans I mean it just gets more and more fun yeah and we’ve just had the time of our lives that’s all I can say and so when you come to Prescott and you make some of these great friendships you know you’ll see a lot of this going on people love to travel together and I guess you know it’s fun because you don’t have the baggage Family or all your friends you know you can just go with you know everybody’s kind of new to the game here so maybe we’re all on best behavior I don’t know the best behavior well yeah we do yeah we do hit it hard yeah we do hit it hard but uh it’s it’s been uh one of the nice perks about living here is meeting people especially we’re you know we haven’t really traveled too too much but these folks have so they can set it all up yeah they can tell you oh this is great this is great we’re gonna do this and I just tag along and I have the time of my life yeah so the the mechanics of this thing is you plan a trip you’re going to plan it you know months in advance uh you know you have a group that wants to get together generally you’ll have you know some dinner meetings where you talk about where you want to go what do you want to do once you pick the place who’s in you know who’s definitely in and then once that’s settled out you have another meeting all with drinks so that’s also part of the fun it’s part of the function yeah so here are all the excursions that are available who wants to do this who wants to do that and then you go on your on your launch day you know and it’s uh so that’s one of the beautiful things about living in Prescott is it is a retirement kind of community and so people are free and available to you know make these great trips yeah and if you’re lucky enough and they include you you say yes and you go and then you have a great time yeah that’s kind of one of the perks about living in a retirement kind of town it’s it’s lovely the other great thing we discovered and well shout out to Charlie bomberger and Bob swelgin you know who you are good friends uh it’s a little program that they introduced this to called Splitter Splitter so this is our other tip to you guys yeah so it’s split like splitter but but no e it’s special s-p-l-i-t-t-r yeah splitter it’s a German app you can put it on your phone so your your credit card may not like it at first so you might have to uh tell them oh yeah it’s it’s uh it’s a validate it’s not very much uh well I think it’s free it is a free app you can get it you can get the premium version but we did not we did not Yeah so basically it’s about splitting costs of things yeah so when you’re with a group of people or your family yeah every time you say I’ll pick up for the whole group it goes on to the splitter app and at the end of the year at the end of the trip I should say it splits up what everyone paid what everyone owed and tells you who owes whom what yeah and it’s a lot of fun it kind of becomes a competition yeah uh oh I’m ahead of the game so you know somebody else needs to and and everybody starts buying a vine to pay for the meal yeah and so at the end everybody basically pays the you know it it it washes out it all washes out what’s really cool about the app I mean obviously if it’s just splitting everything four ways let’s say uh the arithmetic on that is pretty straightforward but uh like when we were in uh Key West I uh I uh paid for a few Ubers but not everyone could fit in the car so I’m thinking well I’m just gonna I’m just gonna pay for the Ubers and I will put it through splitter because not everyone was in the car oh no you can you can make a subgroup and say okay I paid for an Uber and this couple and this couple were the only ones in the car and it will just divide that expense among those two couples so it’s really nice it’s really really cool yeah so you can you know divide it up any way you need to yeah you go to a big meal and you’ve got a table of eight little bills for each single person some restaurants won’t allow you to do that well somebody picks it up and then you put it on splitter yeah and then you know it washes out somebody else will pick up another meal so it’s uh it’s kind of fun and it kind of became a little competition I got it I got it I got this bill I got this bill it’s a lot of fun especially if you know if you’re if you’re drinking it because yeah yeah really quite funny well you know I always kind of think that when you do things that everyone’s kind of splitting things and taking terms of Spain that you end up being pretty even and you do uh you know but the splitter’s nice because it makes sure that everything’s Fair yeah nice and clean super clean and easy you don’t have to do the addition subtraction yeah it does it for you so anyway that was a lot of fun to learn on our last trip so we had a lot of fun with that and we will continue to use splitter in the future for sure absolutely so if you’re looking uh you’re thinking about Prescott get on over here oh my gosh there’s so many great people to meet and then maybe you can take future trips yeah and you can get the splitter app yeah one day we might be on splitter we might be yeah we might be splitting bills with you on Twitter we hope so that might be fun anyway so that’s just our tip of the day and we just were talking about our past vacation we just took and how much fun it was and how nice it was to just go with a new group of friends and just have the time of our lives and isn’t that what it’s about no it is exactly getting ready to Parties on the Terrace

Some of the most happening social events around Prescott are the parties held on the terrace at the clubhouse in Prescott Lakes.  Even if you don't live in this subdivision, you can still join in.  In this episode, we explain how that works and why you don't want to miss out.

good afternoon my fellow pickle peeps hello hello hello Diana Randall bro here coming at you from Prescott Arizona happy to be here yeah we’re starting off our new year yeah we’re getting the gears going uh we’re excited to be back in the action started some action and we had a lot of fun uh New Year’s Eve New Year’s Eve great time and so we wanted to talk about we actually live in Prescott Lakes we wanted to talk about the amazing social amenities that Prescott Lakes has to offer all right so if you don’t know Prescott Lakes Prescott Lakes is the largest subdivision in city of Prescott and I believe it is the second largest in the Prescott area there’s one subdivision on PV it’s a bit bigger yes it’s a big place they have about 1500 Lots probably about and now I’m saying maybe 1300 1350 have been developed totally yeah just some idea how big that is so Under the Umbrella as I call it of Prescott Lakes are about 13 different neighborhoods yeah we all go to the one center of the of the whole development which is the club and uh so there they have a private restaurant it’s amazing they always have something fun going on always always always and now that covet is lifted we’re back back in action so we wanted to talk about this New Year’s Eve we actually went to the club it was open for New Year’s Eve they had a live band they had an amazing Buffet um and we had a good time The Time Of Our Lives it was a good time yeah just to be clear so if you live in Prescott Lakes you will belong to the club that those two go together it is uh it’s not optional you you pay monthly dues you belong to the club you belong to the athletic center uh and if you’re interested that we can give you more information so here’s a great idea if you’re looking here in Prescott you find a house that you absolutely adore and but you want the social amenities that Prescott Lakes has to offer but your home Falls outside of that jurisdiction so to speak you can get a social membership I think it’s 60 or 65 dollars a month and that enables you to come to the restaurant and enjoy all the social events that they have one being uh New Year’s Eve we were there you could get tickets to that and you could go the other being um party on the Terrace which is always fun right yeah so the party and the Terrace they do that two three times a month oh I don’t know that much but yeah well it depends on the month this month they’re doing I think they have three of them but uh it depends on the month but uh yeah they’ll have live bands uh there’s a nice Terrace outside the club and has a beautiful view uh the weather’s good they’ll do it outside there’s a fire pit people hang out by the fire pit they’ll have live music they’ll have a great buffet dinner yeah it’s really uh dancing drinking it’s lovely it’s lovely lovely the other good thing is uh there are clubs within the club here at Prescott Lakes and with the social membership you are allowed to join some of those not all but some if it doesn’t involve the athletic center you can still come do bridge club book club The Women’s Club uh there’s a variety of them that are open to you so if you’re new here you can still kind of enjoy some of the Prescott Lakes social amenities we have a lot of friends who do not live in Prescott Lakes proper but they belong and we go out we have a great time yeah and meet them for dinner meet them for lunch the club is always having amazing brunches they have a beautiful Easter brunch Mother’s Day Mother’s Day Father’s Day so if you’re always kind of Prescott legs they’re essentially two options if you’re a big golfer you may want to join the golf as a golf membership golf memberships are not uh limited to just people in Prescott lake so you get a golf membership for a little bit more you’ll get access to the Athletic Club and everything so right uh if you do that it what you pay is marginally more than what you would pay if you lived in Prescott if you’re not a golfer do the social membership 60 65 absolutely no-brainer have a good time yeah and we’ll see you there you know eat in the restaurant we’re always there and it is a tremendous way to meet people new to the area yeah lots of people are not from here and they become members and it’s great to meet people and make some new connections yeah absolutely we highly recommend it we love the club we love the social membership so don’t be sad like oh I love what it has to offer but I bought a house outside of Prescott Lakes not to worry yeah we can still make it happen and you can have fun and Holidays in Prescott

There's a reason why Prescott is called "Arizona's Christmas City" -  it's so friggin' quaint you'll want to overdose yourself on hot mulled cider - put yourself in a cozy little coma.  

Lights, music, and good cheer abound.  In this episode, we cover what the Holiday Season is like in our little town (which extends well into January, by the way).

people eaters you yes understand what you were saying I got it I got it this is Diana Randall bro coming here to you this morning from the lovely Prescott Arizona she’s special lady I am the pickle lady when you come here to visit you’ll find that why I will give you a jar of my delicious Cajun pickles very good uh yeah the Beloved pickles yes anyway good time to come is the holiday season always always wow no bad time to come true uh if you if you’re thinking about spending time the holiday season taking a little trip risky might be a good choice yeah if you want to do something kind of different like you know what kind of in between Thanksgiving and Christmas head on up here and visit Prescott yeah we will have over a hundred thousand lights and all of the trees around our beautiful Courthouse Square lights in the Square uh it’s so ridiculously Charming as I tell everyone when I take them in and they come to visit we could be in a Hallmark movie or a Hallmark card whatever anything Hallmark related you know what I’m talking about when it’s sweet pretty yeah it’s pretty open it’s darling never just absolutely it’s like something out of the 50s it really a parade it’s so nice so it’s just a small town small town at its finest yeah and Prescott is so freaking Charming that it has even been labeled Arizona’s Christmas City yeah that’s the whole state it’s it’s in our little Hamburg ER three off you thought I was gonna say little town how about a hamlet Hamlet said Hamburg I did it’s a mac oh hamburgers edit that out what no it should be maybe it started off that way now and now I sound dumb that’s not where hamburgers come from but you can get a hamburger here for the holidays or otherwise that’s right but it’s very Charming lots of beautiful shopping to do around the square and all of our nice little individual stores and boutiques and yeah for uh acronite so I think we did another video on at night uh so just briefly it’s a very special night here that’s Christmas related uh this year it is December 9th I think it is it’s like a Friday they’ll light up the tree the Christmas tree and it becomes official all the stores around the square will stay open late it’s a great charity uh charitable event and you can travel from store to store and make a donation and they’ll have live music and it all benefits uh musicians and young students uh needing musical it’s a great idea yeah great event every year yeah and uh the lights and everything all the decorations stay up into January they have a long time yeah it stays up a while so if you can’t make it for the holidays proper uh because I still have some time in the early January mid-January uh something to see for New Year’s Eve we have uh our own answer to the ball drop yep we have the boot drop the boot drop it’s a big cowboy boot we don’t do the disco ball the little ball we do a boot we do and for the early birders which there are quite a few here uh they’ll drop the boot at 10 because it’s midnight on the East Coast so exciting with the ball and Time Square if you are one of the people like to stay up later they’ll drop it again at midnight and make it truly official you stand around and wait for the other shoe to drop how long have you waited for that joke that was a good one yeah well anyway we’d love to see you we’d love to share with the Christmas spirit the holiday spirit is all about in beautiful beautiful spirit a couple of weeks in January it doesn’t matter it’s a great time it doesn’t matter come see us we’ll have a good time yeah so and maybe we’ll see you around the square we’ll you know cheer cheers into the new 2023 amen God willing we’ll all be there a couple warned cider with you that’s right so don’t miss it and come see why Prescott is called Arizona’s Christmas City not to be me that’s to be missed uh so if you uh or want to learn more about holidays in Prescott mm-hmm uh along with other tips you can check out our free information site you can reach it at pickle411.com uh we have information there about acronite and the boot drop and all kinds of stuff stuff about real estate stuff about life all highly entertaining informative and infusions usually entertaining I can’t I can’t make you know all promises it depends on your sense of humor it depends on your sense yeah because informative nonetheless but you should really come see it what it’s all about it’s beautiful and so we hope to see you floating around and give us a call we’d love to take you on your own personal Christmas tour if you’d like Holiday Tour Holiday Tour we’re here absolutely there’s a little bite in the air Winter’s in the air great time to visit hope to see you soon take care bye

Cover Bands

Prescott is a hot scene for good cover bands.  Whatever your taste in music, there is a cover band waiting at one of our local theaters to delight and entertain you.  With plenty of nearby dinner options, great music, small performance venues, and audiences that like to get up and dance - cover band nights in Prescott are do-not-miss events.

good morning to all of our fellow pickle peeps out there hope that uh you guys are making it through and survive the holiday season holiday season it’s uh well well underway yes it is so we’re still busy busy busy here it’s unbelievable um despite all the craziness that’s going on out there in the world uh things are still rolling here in Prescott so moving on So today we’re going to talk about this is one of the top things that we love about Prescott we have so much fun yeah um there’s a lot of bands that will come here and play at the Elks Theater sometimes you have a pie Community Center yes um all over yeah and uh they’re great yeah they are now we do get real bands we do most of those uh play at the Finley Center in Nebraska Valley is a big big arena uh but what’s nice about the cover bands is it’s a smaller venue uh so uh generally they’re in the Elks Theater uh audiences you know 400 people maybe yeah something like that uh beautiful historic building and the cover bands generally are good they’re very good I mean astonishingly good yeah we just went to go see a cover band for Janice Joplin yeah Janice Joplin amazing she was good it was good uh we saw the Eagles the Eagles cover band they don’t call themselves The Eagles then I would call it like we saw it like Carol King was tapestry yeah yeah yeah you know we also saw Carol King that was another good one she was amazing yeah I thought she and her group were amazing the Eagles were really really good really good though our oldest daughter was like really we’re gonna see Eagles he’s like no yeah adjust your aren’t one of those guys did he was all excited but excited after she saw the show she was equally as excited we had a good time Dancing Yeah up in the balcony yeah which we’re not supposed to yeah I was corrected after I was severely reprimanded you’re not allowed to dance in the in the upper balcony only the lower yeah unless you have a walker I guess I’m falling over the side I don’t know but we had a good time anyway they seem to be having a really good time yes so uh but anyway you can also dance on the bottom floor and they do and part of the part of the presentation part of the entertainment is the audience yep a few great dancers yeah some great dancers some Usual Suspects there’s a a couple that will go out they are obviously very well trained yeah and beautiful dancers oh yeah yeah uh there’s a guy who just kind of hangs on the edge of the uh that’s right the stage and just kind of stares he likes to have fun yeah that’s what he does I like to dance uh yeah you know especially after a lot of wine I think I’m the greatest dancer in the world after video footage I realize I’m not but in the moment I have a good time I hate that yeah anyway yeah we have fun yeah great tickets good time go out and have a nice dinner before at any of the restaurants really surround round in the square and then you can walk right over to the Elks and have some good live music and dancing really good so we have a great time we love it we love it we love it highly enough of the cover bands yeah we’ve got really good luck with that travel here to Prescott yeah so we hope to see you there maybe one day One Day concert there all right so that’s our tip for today if you want more tips whether it’s about living in Prescott or real estate or anything really anything to do with breastfeed life in general you want to chit chat you wanna just Chit Chat go to pickle411.com that is our free information site lots of good tips there uh very informative and entertaining and just astounding people from all over the world they just you know love our love our lovers all over the world all over the world I don’t know about that I don’t know there might be one or two I think so I don’t think we introduced ourselves in the beginning yeah we’re Randall and Diane she’s a pickle like that’s right in case we didn’t do that yes we didn’t do that this is Randall and Diane bro live here in Prescott yeah no editing Here I Am the pickle lady we are with exp Realty and we are excited to share our beautiful Hometown with you and possibly help you find your new home here all right go see a cover Batman or go see a cover band with you yeah either way just let us know we’re easy we’re fun we’re open cheers have a great day thanks for listening bye bye

Jazz Nights

One of our very favorite outings is Jazz Night at Prescott's historic Elks Theater.  The series covers a different style or element of jazz each night.  The music and the players are amazing, and the venue is always a delight.  If you go, you'll probably see us there, because we try to make them all!

hello hello hello oh peeps that’s what I’m doing what’s that oh oh jazz hands jazz hands yeah you’re more like Mickey Mouse yeah yeah there you go so for those of you whose children were in theater it was hours work oh we’re a dance you’re very familiar with jazz hands oh yeah so I thought that would be a good intro a good opening to talk about jazz night jazz nights at the Elks Theater I was theater we love it so uh during the covid um they uh they couldn’t use the big theater because there were too many people you know I’d see too many people so they started using a smaller venue which is on the third floor and uh people kind of like the smaller venue too it’s more intimate and it’s kind of like a summer Club but yeah we don’t have supper but you do have wine and um and you can sit and listen to beautiful music yeah yeah so uh they had a jazz series yes uh which I I assume that they will continue again or they’ll have other types of music there uh we must have gone at least a half dozen times oh yeah and you go it’s it’s uh I’d say a couple hours a couple of hours and you can see live jazz performed I mean you are like within feet right there yeah of the of the musicians and just amazing and If These Guys these guys are just the real with the guys yeah what’s his first name Sama put you on the spot yeah uh it’s the vax band yeah he’s amazing oh my goodness Max is in the old IBM computer guys who have obviously been there and done that yes and been doing Jazz for a very very long time just amazing sometimes they will have every Jazz night with something different Mike bags good job I have the heart listen it’s the end of the day we’re a little tired so please forgive me forgive me yes forgive us like because we love him he’s amazing he always has music for sale as well which we love to buy and listen to we’re in our car yeah um but every he heads it up and every uh Jazz night is something different one might be South American Jazz one might be music from the movies Jazz uh one might be New Orleans style jazz I had no idea there were so many different flavors of jazz but I have been taught yeah and stone the latinum that was your favorite but all of them were good and they were just so good so we want everyone to know that Prescott has culture people absolutely we are a pretty you know educated people here who love music who love museums who love art uh we’ve got a pretty big artsy scene here in our little town you wouldn’t think so but we do and it’s lovely now if you’re if you’re looking to do dinner and then music after a couple of tips first of all you need to know if there’s going to be a show in the big theater if there’s a show at the same time in the big theater uh then restaurants right around the square because the Elks Theater is like a couple of blocks from the square uh restaurants that are really close to the Elks Theater are probably going to be kind of packed yes not not terribly but you might want to go a little bit further afield there are plenty of other restaurants to choose from uh but for jazz night the Jazz venue is so small that really we didn’t have trouble I think we did the Hacienda right across the street one night we just went right across the street eye around the corner a couple of nights and had no trouble getting a table Waltz right in it’s just a just a great time the music it’s kind of old-fashioned like in the olden days your folks used to go have dinner at a supper club and watch some entertainment yeah it’s very similar here wow that’s very nice better though yeah because uh you know the thing is uh Prescott draws on uh the Phoenix market so they have musicians that do very well Regional world-class musicians uh you know they make their way up from Phoenix for our little events and you would be astounded at how good the music is these are World Travelers uh well seasoned musicians that have been around the world performing so um it’s nice it’s not going to be like your nephew who’s just learning how to play the trumpet yeah not like a high school recital this is amazing yeah and just hearing the stories they tell about Jack oh yeah I mean we don’t really stop to think about how new jazz is it’s you know barely 100 years old and it has changed so much and going through so many different Evolutions uh and just hearing people who lived it tell you the story yes and about people that uh you know the the big names of jazz and how they played with them and the stories absolutely that’s fascinating very inspirational so if you’re into music uh if you’re into fine dining and then going to music Prescott is the town for you it’s kind of got it all people yeah it really does it’s really nice really really nice um so we just wanted to share with you I want to have a shout out to Mike vatz and we so appreciated all of the Jazz series that we attended it was just a great time and we look forward to him coming back yes absolutely yeah absolutely very nimbly making my way down there all right is that Nimble that’s as Nimble as I get hello hello hello Randall and Diane bro here on a beautiful fall afternoon yes it is we are loving life life is good hope it’s good for you as well we’re having fun to meet with you and talk about various topics various topics real estate plus life is General life in general life impressive life in general so this is one of our favorite uh little restaurants that we go to yeah restaurants are you changing your I think there’s a little girl trying to are you are you changed yeah I you going through beavers I think so changing somehow people always like our restaurant reviews so this is a restaurant review we’ve been talking about doing this for a long time yes been a big fan actually we just never kind of got around to it so we love it they’re amazing yeah um and it’s all about you try to guess you won’t guess outlawed Donuts Outlaw Donuts so the alcohol is like a western kind of a western thing you have guns all over wanted posters and that kind of thing but uh yeah you don’t have to dress up as Cowboys don’t get in there but uh evidently the guy who owns it it was like a pastry chef yeah he’s an amazing Chef the most amazing donuts yeah whenever the kids come in town they always have to hit Outlaw Donuts uh we’ll eat a couple of donuts and then we immediately have to take another nap because yeah they are so delicious and Rich it’s like the perfect nap food they probably they have like glazed donuts sort of regular Donuts you’re going to go and get a dozen donuts I’m sure they’re good but the kind of donuts that we buy we they have specialty donors yeah so you don’t buy a dozen of those no no you would die no so we love the delicious chocolate covered donut with and without with and without coconut coconut I like it without nothing like it though with a I mean little donut with a cup of coffee uh ready for a nice little nap after that it’s wonderful because their cake Donuts are good they’ve got a lot of uh you know like uh specialty specialty Donuts I know they’re bacon covered yeah maple glazed bacon covered uh sort of a um it’s not shaped like a donut it’s more shaped like a hot dog bun kind of like an eclair yeah they have what else what else do we love uh Apple Critters bear claws bear claws as big as his head and that’s a big head that’s a big head yeah that’s a big claw not a big Club but he has a big head there’s claws about a bit as big as my head [Music] do you like the Apple yeah the apple fritters are my favorite I I believe they have other kinds of fertiles uh apples are apples my favorite but uh they do have others a lot of different kinds of cake Donuts I’m a big fan of cake Donuts just plain glazed is amazing uh but I think they also have like blueberry you name it they have it they also have um breakfast burritos burritos yeah breakfast um they have a lot of nice little extra burrito uh breakfast type foods I should say yeah besides just donuts so it’s really like um uh Gourmet Donuts okay Gourmet Donuts yeah uh the other good thing is I mean so Saturday Sunday I mean they might have a line you know out the door that’s how good they are uh the exciting thing is they also have a food truck so for our folks who live down in Prescott Valley you don’t have to drive all the way in to go to the storefront they will have the same stuff at their food truck right on glassford Hill yeah right right at glassford Hill okay across 69 from Glasper Hill big panel truck kind of hard yeah and it will say Outlaw donuts and then the good thing is that we’re super psyched they’re also taking over the space next to their store Friday yeah uh I can’t think of the can’t think of the name of the stream it’s right around the corner from uh the square yeah just a couple of blocks yeah uh they’ve got a new storefront that they are developing and they’re going to have a new Little Deli so I can’t wait to see what that’s going to be all about because deli’s half as good as the donuts right oh yeah yeah so it’s a special treat when the kids come in from out of town we always make an Outlaw Run yeah everybody’s we don’t plan much of anything for them don’t plan much about it it’s going to be a chill it’s gonna be a chill day that’s well worth it but it is so worth it yeah so that is our little plugs and now we love you guys and uh we look forward to the next visit when we get some uh some more of those Bavarian cream filled donuts and when you take your first bite of that Bavarian green donut you think of pickling think of us we sent you yeah we sent you your way and for all you people who do they get any any plug let me tell you let me plug this out goodness of our hearts all of these restaurants come on we don’t get any Kickbacks for this folks this is the joy of talking about a good feeling good people we know that’s right and it uh fills our heart with love to share all the good stuff and all the great little restaurants here in our lovely Town yeah because around my heart’s all I’ve been very clean it is uh we’re having a little blockage no so far so good though everything in moderation everything Falling into Halloween

For those of you still fighting this year's heat, turn down the thermostat, wrap yourself in a warm, comfy robe, and share our little kickoff celebration for fall in Prescott and all the fun rituals of Halloween in our little town.

hello hello hello my fellow pickle peeps hello peeps we’re so excited why are we excited Randall we’re excited because Summer is dying yes it’s actually it’s gone to rest we’re actually in Fall happy fall y’all be fall y’all happy fall y’all my favorite phrase summers are not really that bad here no not not at all so much better than where we used to live but you know fall and winter I love so much more so yes every time it’s and this this summer was actually uh we had a great amazing season yeah I named the best August of my life it was nice and rainy and cool that’s a big comment the best August of your life well I’m August they’re probably the worst month of the year when you’re living in I think it was the best because that’s my birthday well yeah yeah it starts off the thing it goes downhill from that I checked but I’m not but anyway birthday treat there is that what we’re talking about I don’t know but yeah so now we’re at fall and we’re gonna pass that up completely we’re going to talk about fall so we just got back from La Quinta California yes we’ll have more to say about that in a future episode but yeah suffice to say like he took California right outside Palm Springs still super hot and we were kind of melting beautiful beautiful but can’t do the heat anymore people can’t do the heat we’re so glad to get back and fall was falling fall is falling we had a great time yeah and uh you know we’re very happy uh to be back we’ve decorated for our favorite holiday [Music] so although Halloween is not celebrated uh as it is in most of your neighborhoods probably where the kids come to your door yeah we don’t have trick-or-treating our neighborhoods here we do not uh Prescott is very unique they have everyone gather all the children in town uh go to Mount Vernon and they have special all the homes there the historical homes decorate for Halloween and all the kiddos the streets blocked off lit up the police are there they go from house to house there only on Mount Vernon it’s really interesting it’s really cool they’re very old tradition started back in the old west when they used to round the children up to sacrifice them on Mount Vernon but now they don’t now don’t even say that yeah so somebody out there is going to think that’s true yeah that is not true we are a retirement town so when you do see a child it is a little it’s a good luck yeah it’s good luck you need to try to catch them rub their head yeah rub they’re building something so you get some of that you can thank you they’ll tell you where their pot of gold is that’s right so it’s always special yeah Halloween is lovely yeah they do they uh they block off about three three blocks of Mount Vernon which is the old historical City yep kind of the centerpiece and all the old homes or at least most of them are decorated to the nines the fun people the fun people of which we have great friends yes shout out to Kathy and Harvey yep always have the best Halloween party ever the best Halloween decorations live music so if you are here for Halloween come down Mount Vernon we’ll be there at our friend’s house enjoying all the spectacular events that they hold on that day unclear what we’re going to it’s a good time that’ll be fun good times so and we hand out candy to everyone about 3 000 kids will dress straight up and down Mount Vernon not to be missed so also if you’re new to the area and maybe you don’t want to go out on Halloween itself because it all you know traffic and kids and this that and the other always just walk down there a week before it’s a beautiful walk it’s lovely and you can see all the decorations without all the crowds that’s right I’ll leave it up to you absolutely beautiful you will miss a good party and fun and music and you might see us waving at you thinking about coming to Prescott is a good time absolutely so always fall into Halloween here in Prescott not to be missed and very very unique absolutely and we thoroughly enjoy it every year another good tip if you like tips the place to go is pickle411.com there you’ll find our free information site yes all kinds of wonderful information where to get the best treats on Halloween and restaurants and just all kinds of stuff all right all free and good stuff for you all good stuff fun stuff fun stuff we try to bring it all to you people yes we do and share the wealth of knowledge that we have about life here in Prescott that’s right so we hope you appreciate it and uh if you’re here for Halloween come on by and wave pass by at our little party we’re not sure what our costumes will be at but we’ll be there having fun so cheers to you wherever you are and uh Happy fall wherever you are enjoy the Beautiful the beautiful weather that comes our way Come fall season come fall season that’s right camel can’t fall is falling can’t beat it and press it I’ll tell you that much it’s our favorite cheers and I hope to hear from you soon take care

hello hello peeps hello hello hello lady here diane bro i’m randall bro we’re realtors in prescott arizona coming at you live well right now we’re live recorded live we’re alive as we speak and we are alive and breathing yes that’s good that’s a good thing anything off right is a good day that’s right if you wake up and you’re breathing it’s looking good folks looking good looking good so we’re here to share one of our favorite nighttime spots with you although i think they open at four o’clock yeah and it’s called the point called the point the point it is probably the best bar in the city oh they make great cocktails yeah i mean in terms of just the mixology thing yes uh the bartenders bartenders there are probably the most advanced they are i mean there might be a couple of other places that are just as good but i mean certainly one of the best they are cool they’re sharp um they have all kinds of specialty cocktails all those cool smoked drinks oh yeah they do all this they do it i mean they are mixology at its finest yes is that the point now the thing about this place is that they don’t let the entryway fool you it’s very uh speak easy very it’s kind of obscure it’s kind of like where’s the entrance yeah it’s kind and then you kind of go down yeah so you go into this little you know you go down the stairs and there it goes and they let you in and it’s not just like right off the main drag and you just walk in through the front door it’s a little hidden yeah and um but it’s lovely you get in there it’s nice and cool which is what we like it feels good down there yeah and they have live music and some dancing great seating areas right great seating areas uh i like to go i mean the live music is great uh but i i you know when i go to bars i kind of like to talk and uh we went there one time and when there’s no band they you can sit on the stage itself which is a cool little nook yes very nice it’s all very cave-like and sort of dark yeah it’s like a chest it feels like a speaker really really cool one of my favorite places uh i like the sucker punch yeah uh is one of my favorite has a little spice to it which is really kind of cool uh there’s a martini what’s the martha basil martini i think that you had i think so a lot of their own creations and all really really good if you have something else that you want they will know how to make it and it will probably be one of the best you’ve ever had we’ve gone to several birthday parties there they have nice tables that you can sit at and they have some appetizers a little something that’s right they do some finger foods good stuff good stuff uh so our daughter just came in shout out to cecily and max and her boyfriend yeah and we had a great time we went there and had a lovely uh just have a cup of cocktails listen to some music chit chat caught up with them they loved it too yeah and they’re true hipsters i mean they’re true they’re from l.a so yeah yeah you can impress the youngest yeah you’re on to something good yeah so shout out to the point uh is it on your happy hour um i’m not sure i’m not sure we have a happy hour list yeah i think they might be on there i’m not sure if they’re not if not just pay full price absolutely it’s all it’s worth it it’s worth it so mr bro here has done a great happy hour list yeah we had an earlier wind down about that uh if you can’t find it just search the site and you’ll find happy hours our happy hour schedule all the happy hours that are happening day by day throughout the week um so very cool good times good times so anyway shout out to the point if you’re looking to be cool hip and happening good place to go it’s the place for you now a lot of places like it you can find out about all of them on our free information site pickle411.com whether you’re a buyer seller somewhere between just looking for a good cocktail that is the place to go all things real estate all things prescott all things life in general a lot of wonderful information i think you’ll enjoy all yeah cheers to that yes okay we hope you guys have a great day out there take care and hope to hear from you soon bye

Another restaurant review coming at you...  This is a new restaurant by an old pro who's done well for Prescott cuisine for a long time.  With quaint indoor dining and an expansive outdoor courtyard, this one is a year-round treat that offers meals that are both delicious and gorgeous.

hello hello hello hello beeps this is the pickle lady I am a pickle Lady this is the pickle lady better half we are Diane and Randall bro you yeah real estate team here in Prescott Arizona there you go very often yeah we often speak together this is what happens when you know each other almost 40 years take too long folks hey and for some of you out there you can kind of let me know you guys talk over each other a lot we do yeah I don’t know if we can control that but I’m just going to be honest folks I’m gonna put that out in the out in the universe when you know somebody so long we just kind of fill each other’s sentences in fill in the blanks um we’ve had some people say you need to stop that I’m sorry it’s just it’s just who we are just who we’ve been it’s just who we are we’ve always been this way and uh so anyway that’s it that’s it that’s us in a nutshell today we’re doing another uh restaurant oh yeah uh usually one of the more popular things that I put out yeah yeah uh new restaurant I guess it’s been around for a better part of the year now maybe I don’t know maybe about six months I would say yeah yeah but lovely it’s called Torme I and we’re thinking it the name of the restaurant may have come from Mel Torme I don’t know I don’t know we haven’t confirmed that we haven’t confirmed that we don’t know it’s formatting don’t yeah well some people might know who Mel Torme is yeah I think our group’s gonna know I think the Velvet Fog yes you’re wonderful he’s a great singer I like his daughter too yeah so anyway very very good food owned by the same owners of Elgato Azul which is another great little restaurant here in town yeah uh again we have superb mom and pop restaurants here yeah and tour May is another one added to our list yeah really cute very Charming very Charming like a little cottage uh and they also have a more extensive outdoor seating area yes we can’t wait to go in the fall sit out there under the trees really good food lovely wines great little atmosphere yes nice bar nice bar really nice bar yeah just what they’ve done with the the place itself is really just kind of cool the the bathroom has a a weird door and uh hey I was just impressed by the way they did the bathrooms this little it’s a cutie patootie it is a cutie patootie but good food yeah really good food the food comes out it looks like a work of art yep uh much like uh much like a Godzilla Azul uh you know the presentation is is very very good um not a manly not a manly food place if you’re looking for you know like a Whopper steak or something like that probably not for you but the portions are pretty good yeah you know I I I was I was more than filled with um beautiful salads I think I got a pasta dish that was divine pasta dish yeah not sure if it’s you would call it Italian I’m not sure what you would call it it’s kind of a combo yeah the uh got to Azul is more what do you call the small dishes that you share uh Tapas Tapas that’s right it’s it’s more of it so thank you that’s more of a topless restaurant not a tapest thing they may have some appetizers more just sort of standard um nice meals but uh same same sort of feel uh we love it we love it we give it five stars yeah thank you so much I can’t wait to go back in the fall yeah and sit outside pretty trees yeah wonderful place so if you’re here in town you’re like hey what’s up what’s a little off you know off the road uh what do you call it what’s that off the road off the beaten path off the beaten path Torme is your place there you go it’s a off the beaten path where you can find Tapas where you can’t find time you can’t find jobs but if you help me I help you it’s all good that’s what’s all good in the hood all right my friends hope to see you one day a Torme that torment and just just be clear uh a lot of people ask us how come you always like the restaurants that you review the answer to that question is if we don’t like it we don’t review it yeah I hope you don’t do this is that my job I’m not a professional restaurant uh critic um so I only talk about the things that I like that I’ve tried and I appreciated I’m not going to talk about the bad ones because we don’t talk about the balance but it’s not like you give everything a thumbs up we just don’t do in fact we went out to review a restaurant we hated it and we threw it off the list we threw it off so it’s pictures and everything we’re like you know what we’re not going to redo this one if we think it’s a thumbs down it’s a thumbs down about it I only want to talk about the good yeah but I do want to make sure everyone thinks yeah no one thinks that we’re just always saying good things uh because we can be critical oh yeah there are some that are we try to keep it nice so if you see well hello hello hello peeps fellow pickle peeps got the prescott pickle lady here that’s right this is diane bro this is my better half randall bro i’m the sidekick that’s right we are here uh we’re with exp realty happy to join you today and talk about some of the fun stuff here in prescott one of them is if you are not a gun aficionado you might want to skip this one and i understand yeah well in arizona in general uh guns are popular uh and we were amazed at just how many of our friends like to shoot had no idea so it’s not just for defense yeah uh prescott is a really great town people love to go to the shooting ranges to relax and practice their shooting there’s also a lot of outdoor ranges and outdoor areas so you can go especially in the fall and enjoy beautiful weather and shoot at targets yeah if it gets a little dry you might have a shooting ban outside because evidently you can start a fire that way but uh you know yeah in the in the fall in other areas that that’s all lifted you know you go out and have a nice picnic shoot your gun shoot your rifles perhaps your ars yeah your ars yeah unbelievable uh france had some of the these uh advanced weaponry which are a lot of fun to share it’s a lot of fun to share and so if you are a gun enthusiast prescott is the town that is your place uh first of all arizona it does allow open carry yes uh you can also get your concealed weapon if you want to go one step further um and so it is kind of still has a little feel of a little western town yeah we see some people uh you know carry on their side and if that makes you feel uncomfortable um i understand but for most people here they’re very responsible um it’s an enjoyment thing for them they are either hunters or they just love to practice and target you yeah well one thing about people who shoot they do know gun safety that’s basically what it’s all about recently there was something in the news about a a gun accident that happened in hollywood and all of her friends play he should have known better you should have known better yes that’s the thing about guns it’s all about knowing the safety and you know and how to be safe and uh people who know guns that they’re pretty good about yeah so if you are like i said a gun enthusiast you will really enjoy it here um people love to there’s clubs you can join um you can go shoot for fun um as well as for your own protection if that’s your thing is that your thing um yeah a lot of shooting ranges uh some to avoid um and well at least one in particular but uh we don’t want to record that so you can call we also put on the relocation center the ones that we recommend oh absolutely there’s some great ranges so if you’re coming here and you’re wondering hey do they have shooting ranges there are we allowed to shoot outdoors the answer to that question is yes yes um is it an open carry yes um if you are you know but it’s it’s all to each his own yeah you know and everybody here is extremely responsible yeah and the only thing you’re going to do is have fun you’re not particularly concerned about security which honestly don’t have to worry about security really not a big deal just a whole lot of fun uh you can shoot handguns uh some people shoot skate that’s fun yes that’s a lot of fun that just can be a lot of fun a lot of people who are into it and can do it with you uh and they got some really cool stuff there’s a noise cancellation headphones yeah where you put the headphones on and it actually has a microphone so you’re talking to your friends and everything but when someone fires a gun it automatically cuts out and that’s pretty high tech i was very impressed by that we are very impressed we had a great time we got invited by some friends we’ve since joined a couple of gun ranges we’ve learned what it’s all about um and uh it’s uh kind of a new little chapter it’s fun yeah so if that’s your thing if that’s your thing and that’s your hobby prescott is the place for you absolutely you would really enjoy it so i just want to give you a little heads up on that um lots of folks here who belong to different gun ranges and have a lot of fun it’s kind of a meditative thing sometimes yeah you know that’s that i i shot for the first time i guess a year or two ago and uh i thought it was going to be sort of a testosterone filled you know like you see on the movie screens and everything and uh honestly it was quite zen yes uh because you’re focusing it it was amazing just how tranquil the whole thing was i i liked it a lot more yeah we did too so uh anyway just wanted to share that with our gun enthusiasts gun aficionados out there that’s your thing um prescott would you know has a lot to offer you yeah if uh that’s what you really enjoy on your downtime if Cool Trees

Prescott is its own little ecosystem, so the plants and animals you see here can be quite different from what you're used to (especially if you've grew up in - say - the swamps of Louisiana). to help you to serve you uh amazing customer service if i say so myself but anyway here to talk about cool trees yeah this was something you know now that we’re kind of spring has sprung we’re heading into summer all of our beautiful trees here you know we’re from the deep south yeah so we have now been exposed to trees we’ve never seen never heard of we’re from the land of oak trees and spanish moss cypress and all that pine trees just plain old pine trees so when we moved here we were like wow yeah what is this tree that’s just getting leaves and blossoming and completely different floor totally different so we just love it and one of my favorite is the smoke tree smoke trees are so cool so cool you won’t find them down i thought it was the strangest thing i remember the first time i’m driving through prescott lakes yeah they take us on smoketree and i was like why is this what do you smoke but we actually have trees here and they call them smoke trees and the reason why is a certain time of year now it’s basically now right now right now we’re in june yep this is it this is it you can kind of see why they call them smoke trees it’s like uh they’ve got this sort of fluffy thing fluffy little flowers looks like the leaves are kind of purple um and they’ll start leafing out first and then these little puffs of this little flower comes out and it looks like little cups of smoke so in prescott lakes one of the main drags on the way to the club is called smoke tree and it’s lined with these smoke trees so now i get it now again connection yeah and um so those are really unusual beautiful trees i’ve never seen them where i’m from so i appreciate that yeah i don’t know how far i feel you can go uh where how far out smoke trees are whether that’s uh yeah i don’t know not to look at it but they’re big here yeah they’re very big here very big here another one that’s uh really cool is the quaking aspen yeah beautiful trees beautiful and the winds blow and the leaves they literally quick and shaky and it’s just but it’s just beautiful to see the breeze go through them and it’s all leafy and green and you know both that one and the um smoke tree they will lose their leaves yeah but then it all comes back in the spring and summer and it’s just beautiful and of course an aspen when it when it loses its leaves it’s beautiful in the fall it’s just beautiful yeah it’s got that silver bark yeah that’s really cool i like a good aspen not a good good aspirin everybody likes a good um yeah i get it the other tree that we would uh we would call out is called the red leaf plum what’s your favorite favorite yeah also purpley who are you talking to this is this is my very favorite and it’s a beautiful tree and it goes through very different phases yes um so most of the year it it kind of looks like the leaves are made of like a red purple leather almost or velvet it’s like so descriptive yeah they’re beautiful beautiful trees just sort of normally yes uh but when they blossom in the early spring they look like cherry blossoms they do it does it looks like you’re in washington dc washington amongst the cherry blossoms that’s true bright bright pink light pink beautiful yeah and they almost look like a snow cone yeah absolutely it’s stunning so and there they are fruit trees you know what else i love them we didn’t talk about this but i love it’s called a desert willow oh okay and sometimes a desert willow is more it’s usually a bush but some of the uh landscapers will train it to grow into a tree and that takes very little water it’s in the willow family but it makes beautiful purple and pink flowers yeah all throughout the summer so it’s a little different than your traditional weeping willow which is what i’m used to so i’m all about the desert willow yeah yeah one of the things you look forward to in coming here is learning all the local flora and fauna the different kinds of trees they have here we’ve done an episode before on birds and the crazy kinds of birds that we get here a lot of birds coming through so there’s a great variety yeah uh and just taking the time to learn more about the local nature and yeah and you know uh citrus doesn’t do so well here citrus trees because we do get kind of chilly willy in the winter yeah but i tell you what cherries plums um what are some of the others well the red leaf plums we mentioned yeah before they are edible and they’re actually pretty good yeah apples apricots yeah apples not a problem not a problem all those and those two are just as equally beautiful so anyway we’ve had fun kind of learning about all the different trees and enjoying them it’s something we’ve never got to experience down in the south so here it’s like a whole new world people a whole new world you can learn all kinds of new things here yeah and expand your horizons and isn’t that what it’s all about get yourself some cherries or some red plums aspen grab yourself and grab grab and ask rub it out and grab this mask i don’t know if there’s anything you can eat no but it’s so pretty i like the way it shakes though i like that shaking the shaking aspen anyway okay so yeah i can tell you we’re heading in that direction we’re trying to connect it together yeah i get it it’s not easy being a comedian folks not easy being a realtor either if you’re looking for information about real hello hello hello hello peeps good morning good morning folks to my fellow preschootonians yeah and to all of our people maybe preschool tony and one of the babies right correct hopefully chris catonia and one of these i like that i like that we welcome you here with the preschool pickle lady diane bro my name is randall i am the skunk pig not just just the sidekick the pickle he keeps referring to him i don’t yeah i just spilled on myself don’t do that i know that wasn’t good another restaurant review people like our restaurant review so we thought we’d hit it up here’s one we actually went there a while ago yeah it’s so good so good and it’s yum yum yum yum yum yum and it’s actually in chino valley yep uh so for those of you who don’t know chino valley is uh it’s about a 20 minute drive 30 minute drive 30 minutes i’d say more 30. yeah 30. it depends on if you’re driving or me tran she’s the faster driver just in case you’re wondering well i got things to do yeah i understand so uh chino valley and then the name of the restaurant is essence so essence has been around now for i think a couple of years um they’re kind it was a while before we could get there because it’s hard to get reservations yeah they take reservations and they are they are out so you wanna you wanna plan ahead a little bit uh but it is that we went with uh two other couples and we loaded ourselves into the pickle van in the pickleball it was great the drive there and back was probably half the fun amazing food so it’s a great place to go for a special occasion so if you’ve got a special birthday or anniversary um make that reservation now yeah so you can get in um it’s got a nice little ambiance yeah very nice ambiance the food is just spectacular it is really spectacular i would put this in the category of fine dining dining experience this is a fine dining yeah yeah and uh really interesting uh entrees they are changing it up all the time uh one of the things i think is kind of cool that their their menu is organized by uh land sea and air oh yeah yeah so air is chicken all right so here i guess it’s a bird i have any other kind of birds i guess it would be under air and uh i think that the thing that really sets it apart is their c-section their their seafood he loves it and they’ve got what does she say that comes wrapped in a banana uh there’s a sea bass oh yeah they will wrap it in banana leaves oh my god really unique the chef honestly don’t you feel the chef just puts his heart into it it’s a family enterprise yeah it’s a family and i mean the heart and soul you can feel it yeah this is their baby this is their child and they really love it you feel the love you do and they will you they’ll come around and say hello to everyone it’s kind of an old style yeah family enterprise in that regard it’s delicious absolutely it’s really it’s you know worth a little drive make your reservations like i said way ahead uh read the menu ahead of time yeah it’s it’s just great desserts the desserts are desserts are amazing uh and they mix that up they’ve got the normal fare but uh they’ll always have something special uh in the dessert section cocktails amazing uh their own creations yeah uh blackberry sangria oh yeah i love that uh there was a uh and mule i think it was yeah um yeah changing out with the seasons um i got a kiwi mojito i think more of a summer thing yeah um so look for that really really well worth it so we just wanted to give a shout out to ezreal um and we can’t wait for you to come and try it out yeah and for any of you locals get your name on the list get out there get out there support our local businesses that’s what it’s all about that’s what it’s all about feel the love yeah let’s have a good time again people be kind support local businesses yeah chino valley is an area of big growth um yes growing every day every month and uh i think essence is one of those anchor kind of things they’re going to be talking about oh i remember it was just essence so yeah we cannot say enough good things about it yeah we love it we love it we love it so we just couldn’t wait to share with you if you want to find out an experience that’s right lessons all right if you are looking for information if you need help buying or selling a home here in prescott don’t forget to look up us pickle411.com is our information site whether you are buyer seller or somewhere in between information that you desire is waiting free for you that you desire whether it’s a real estate markets um events restaurants we kind of cover it all we sure do and um and we have so much fun doing it we do we have a good time doing it we’d like to share our wealth of information wealth of information all right so on that note my friends we’d like to say au revoir and uh we hope that uh your week coming up is wonderful all right have a good day bye

La Bruzza’s

We've said it before: Prescott does great Italian.  There are half a dozen wonderful Italian restaurants in town, but this is one of our very favorites.  If you see us there, make sure to hit us up for some wine.

hello hello hello this is randall and diane bro here your local husband and wife realtor team she’s the president we’re in prescott arizona that is right i’m glad you remembered that that’s good yeah that’s good yeah it’s helpful yeah sometimes you get a little tired and you throw back to new orleans or texas i know where i am yeah it’s good today we know where we are we’re here in prescott arizona talking to you about one of our very favorite restaurants cannot wait i’m getting ready to take some clients there yeah we’re going yep we’re so excited it’s called la bruce does a great job with italian uh italian food uh we’ve done a wine down before about italian food in general uh labruza’s is one of the very best uh kind of less uh less formal than so many other places uh got a lot of white wicker and uh i love it they play dean martin frank sinatra yeah i mean you’re to feel like you’re in a little italian eatery somewhere in new york you know like a mom and pop mom and pop very much red and white check you know just like old italian style mama’s restaurant yeah they do not have a look license so you bring your own wine or liquor and there is no corkage no mortgage fee so uh just being the deep class a people that we are we usually bring a box of wine and when people snicker i go around and i i give people free glasses one and they change their money they change their mind if you get some good boxed wine you can’t just saying yeah so it’s lovely amazing salads they come to the table this giant salad for everybody and the dishes they have are just amazing i mean i always get the veal parmesan veal parmesan chicken parm they’ve got these great seafood yeah they just have some good italian seafood yeah uh ravioli some really good i mean of course your lasagna i mean you name it yeah i can’t think of one thing that isn’t good there yeah traditional italian fair traditional very well done by a family-owned restaurant listening to dean martin and drinking your boxed wine drinking your box spot right you know those of you with a more sophisticated palette yeah you can bring whatever kind you want to bring whatever you want the lady comes with the glasses she pops the cork she they don’t even charge you for it nope it’s lovely and it’s just a very charming little atmosphere and a lot of fun so if you go there for a birthday you’re gonna have a great time no reservations though so yeah no reservations although if you have a very big group you might want to call ahead make sure they know you’re coming and they will try to accommodate you we had uh one time we did a birthday party there and right before we showed up there was another big group who was kind enough to show up without calling in advance so we ended up sitting around and drinking wine with our group yeah we kind of did yeah well it’s been a little sloppy it got a little sloppy yeah but it was fun we had a great job we had a great time i don’t i don’t know if others around us thought we were we thought we were highly amusing highly amusing oh and desserts dessert try the oh yeah cannoli is yes outstanding so if you are new here to press kit or even if you’ve been here you’ve never heard of it you’ve got to got to try labruzas i can’t believe i still run across people who have been i know i can’t believe that i can’t it’s kind of an interscript it’s in kind of a little strip mall yep on iron springs yeah yeah so anyway no reservations just show up and keep it open at 4 30 get in there yeah uh if you go at seven you’ll walk right you walk right in all the way yeah we do have the early bird special here so lots of people get there early but i don’t know if they have a special because it’s not as special you’re right it’s just you know early birders yeah if you’re not into dinner at 4 30 you might want to show up a little bit later miss the crowd just part of prescott just part impressive very true that is part of prescott life it is but i got used to it i love it but anyway so please try it la bruces bring your finest wine or box find this box of wine you can find whatever you want to bring it’s all good yeah it’s all good in the hi folks hello peeps randlyn diambro here here with pickle lady prescott arizona we’re so happy to be here this evening your real estate agents at large that’s right at large we’re talking about everything that is prescott whether it’s real estate whether it’s restaurants whether it’s javelina page so that we we will we cover it all so in this little topic we’d like to cover religion religion and religious groups religious groups i love prescott arizona um they are very open they have all kinds of groups here that welcome everyone from all walks of life we have the catholic church we have the jewish synagogues we have the non-denominational yeah non-denominational churches community groups of all kinds but what makes the religious groups in prescott a little different than in other cities is a lot of time religion is about raising children in that religion so i was you know i was surprised at how many questions we get about religious groups here at prescott yeah i still don’t know if anyone has ever asked us about schools here never we we get maybe a hand maybe twice a year with questions about schools yeah but mostly because we are a retirement town people are calling about you know tell me a little bit about the religious community yeah that’s very social a community connection thing it’s really not about church and the building per se it’s more about what is the community outreach through different groups and sometimes it’s just social activities with people common faith or close enough [Music] all very open and loving and welcoming and you can get involved in a lot of social outreach we have a few uh non-denominational uh christian churches that well in texas they call them mega churches because well they’re huge yes i don’t know if they’re as big as they are in the city of houston i know everything is bigger in texas yeah everything’s bigger in texas everything’s bigger even the religions even the that’s religions here that the communities may be smaller but they’re very active uh you know we see people that different churches will have different uh uh logos or decals or whatever and you’ll see the cars and everything and yeah it’s it’s a it’s a going thing but i mean i think the big thing for me is total acceptance yeah absolutely of all religions of all walks of life yeah um nobody’s really hardcore here we’re all pretty accepting and loving and happy to reach out to help others and that’s what it’s all about people right that’s right especially as we get older and we’re retirement age right we’re reaching the shooting it shut up we’re reaching we’re heading into the show so it’s all about service to others kindness to others uh love towards others and honestly i’ve never felt anything other than love and acceptance here in prescott absolutely no matter what persuasion you are religious persuasion um yeah absolutely now that the churches are active so you know if you’re used to the kind of church where people go and you know they kneel and pray and then they stand up and pray and they kneel and pray and then they do the sign of the cross and leave maybe not be for you because these people actually get in the community they do food drives and all kinds of service activities and social activities it’s more about the activity it’s feel good religion feel good feel good religion i think it’s a great reflection on the city absolutely 100 so we wanted to say to those of you thinking about prescott we have it all here we have all we cover all religious bases all religious backgrounds yeah and we are very welcoming and accepting of all those and there’s a place for you and there’s a place for you to provide service to others uh you’ll love it we love it so good to us so anyway we just thought we’d kind of share that with you in case you were having any questions yeah and i apologize that it took us this long to mention you know churches and synagogues and things like that we got it when i was just kind of thinking it was one of those school things we got a few calls we had a call about synagogues and yeah we had a call about churches not too long ago and so yeah we should just tell people yeah people pray here and you know they worship here and they we got you covered whatever you are probably you’ll find it if you’re into the god thing we got you covered if you look for information the place to get is pickle411.com that is our free information site whether you are a buyer of homes a seller of homes or you just want to go to church you can check it out at pickle411 you will find the information you need there to get yourself plugged in locked in locked loaded ready to fire and sending on your way that’s right and we are happy to help you and uh guide you on your path absolutely so anyway it’s uh something what are the neat attributes of preston we got some good stuff going here people so come on in join us come visit us give us a call take care have a good evening bye

good morning folks good morning folks this is randall and diane bro she’s the prescott pitbully here in prescott arizona we’re realtors and we talk about a lot of other stuff we’re coming at you come on that’s right my red shoe i have a really cute red shoes coming at you uh we are the uh husband and wife duo here in prescott arizona we are uh local realtors here happy to represent you as a buyer and as a buy as a seller and as it turns out as a drinker too and it’s a drinker yeah one of the things that’s really big impressive we wanted to well you probably knew this already we wanted to share is happy hours are big here happy hours are huge happy hours are big so huge cheeseburger and press get like to go to dinner early so the idea of starting to drink at three that’s like right in line sure you know it’s like why not most cities they have a drink at five why’s seven this is a retirement town yeah so i feel like you need five if you’re retired you should go enjoy happy hour and then have a lovely dinner yeah that’s what it’s all about but there’s reason they call it happy hour because you get you know your voice your voice correct it’s always changing i’m i’m constantly evolving i’m trying to stay one one step ahead is that right yeah that’s what i’m doing well good luck with that good luck yeah but we’ll try so uh think about happy hours since you get the same uh great great cocktails uh appetizers whatever they have but it’s you know they get a special deal sometimes you get things that you can’t get any other time and there’s nothing wrong with that yeah and there are a lot of restaurants here that do it the problem with uh happy hours is you decide kind of spur the moment we tend to be spurring a moment right i feel happy i want to go someplace that has to happen true where can i go where can we go where can i go i don’t know mr bro well we have just just the thing for you i have completely this is so obnoxious the seventh grade great seven can you read it seventh grade happy hours and prescott i think we’ve already hit happy hour personally that’s why we can’t so there we go so i will appear not i’ll put it i’ll put a link down below so what we’ve done is we compiled seven of what we thought were really good happy holidays some of the better yeah they’re amazing prescott prescott is jumping yeah with happy hours why why did i pick seven why do you think that i don’t i could only fit seven on the chart oh okay yeah so the constraints of the chart itself all right okay well i appreciate your effort yeah we’ve got some great ones so uh uh superstition metering augments merchants trees uh plastic brewing cold grill yes and county seat was this tell me [Music] yeah so you have a little a little calendar here it’ll tell you any day of the week you know the the hour of the day what which of these quite deeply uh which of these is is experiencing happy hour so at the last minute you decide you know what i should be happier than i am check the chart see who’s doing happy hour and you can go happier than i just wanted to just a little project we wanted to let you know about it and we just thought about we’re like wow you know we have so many clients that come in and we’re like hey you are trying this happy or this one or this one or this one and we thought hey you gotta put them all together got to put them all together and do a wine down about it so that you guys i bet you uh the meadery also has a happy hour that’s that’s just right superstition they’re number one my favorite i would have mentioned them oh yeah i did oh yeah you did oh okay sarcasm will not help you here yeah that’s right just try it yeah they have a great one they have uh half off beans and ciders yeah their meats are amazing right that’s on the side yeah yeah yeah yeah we had a great time did a flight of maids yeah fantastic great great place i have a friend back in louisiana b calvert shout out to you who still talks about the metering here in preston how wonderful it was so anyway uh we thought you know what let’s sit down and talk about our top seven happy hours so uh lest you ever think that uh price gets you some sleepy old little retirement town not so yeah we just we’re kicking we just start at two o’clock in the afternoon we’re kicking we do start a little earlier um because dinner time is 4 30 here but we’re done and then you have a great night after that you get you’re in bed by eight but you’ve had a great time and that’s what it’s all about she gets more traction out of our happy hours so this is our way of communicating to the world what’s happening when so we can coordinate better correct there you go so we thought we would share this wealth of information with you our fellow preschootonians and those
