Sometimes it’s a whole group of them which is kind of interesting. But um anyway, so yes, we are coming to you from our beautiful town that has four seasons. We are not like any other usual town in Arizona. You should know that. Okay. So, but anyway, yeah. See our see our videos on uh weather and all that other stuff. That’s right. Marvel town. Today we want to talk about pavers. The joy of pavers. The joy of pavers. So if you’re looking for a business opportunity, you might want to might want to get into pavers. Pavers have absolutely taken off here. Yeah, absolutely. I have paver envy because our driveway is not pavers and I would love to have pavers. So our next door neighbor to Well, we don’t know u if she tore it up and redid it. Yes, she did. Oh, she did. Yes, she did. Or it wasn’t built that way to begin with. Correct. Yeah. Okay. And she did. Yeah. But anyway, we’ll have her come over and do ours. So, certain neighborhoods uh require you to have pavers when the house was built. Some do not. Some have a mixture of concrete or pavers. It doesn’t matter. But we just love pavers because they’re indestructible and they’re such a beautiful look to your home. It adds so much curb appeal and they’re I mean just you cannot destroy them. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, that when uh when concrete settles, a lot of times you’ll get cracks. Uh you can get stains that you can’t get out. Uh and so on and so on, oil and stuff like that. Oil and stuff like that. The thing about pavers, I I don’t know. Uh you you you may not be aware. I just learned it myself. Pavers are not concreted or gr not uh what’s the they’re not cemented down. Cemented in. Yeah. No, they are not uh mortar. They’re not morted. They’re not morted down. So what they what they do is they the the border of the pavers those are tacked. Those are affixed. All of the rest of the pavers it’s just sand. They just kind of float, right? So if the ground shifts, pavers don’t crack. They just kind of move around. We just had um a client who uh bought a home and it’s a paver driveway. And you if it’s like a little Yeah. Just a little a little dent. You don’t even And and if you want you can pull the pavers up. That’s right. Where the dent is, fill it, put the pavers back. Back down. Easy peasy. Easy peasy. If you get a stain, if you can’t get the stain out, you pull the pavers out and you replace them. That’s right. It just works. It looks so much nicer. It lasts so much longer and the maintenance on it is so much better. It’s people, it’s just the joy. It is the joy of pavers. Joy. It’s a joy of pavers. One day when I have tons of discretionary income, I’ll just jackhammer up my concrete driveway and put that down. I want to see you actually jack I’m not going to do that. No, but I will hire someone to do that. And uh yeah, I would never let him do that either because God knows how that would come out. But um yeah, I’d probably put a hole in my own head if I had a He’d hit the sewer pipe. Hit the sewer pipe. No doubt. No doubt. There is an art to it and there is a science and it is fascinating. Um, when the professionals come in to do it, it is amazing. It It’s kind of a little engineering feat. I mean, they level it, they measure it, they it’s perfectly level. It’s It’s uh It’s kind of cool to watch them do it. It started with driveways. Now you’re starting to see sidewalks will be patios. It’s like a virus that’s taken over all the cement. So, if you’re thinking about building, etc., and stuff like that, I would highly recommend do the pavers. They’re not that much. I don’t even think they’re more expensive. Honestly, I talked to someone who was in the paper and they said there it’s about the same. Is it? I thought it was maybe a tad cheaper. Well, if you get It depends thing. I’m sure they can upsell you on the premium papers. You know, there’s always the upsell and your pattern that you put down. But also, sometimes concrete runs really high. Yeah. At certain times. Who knows why? What drives that? I don’t even know. But, um, pavers are not that much more. And it it surely adds uh a lot of beauty and Yeah, for sure. It really gives you great curb appeal.
