Hello, hello, hello, my fellow Prescuit pickle peeps. Hello, peeps. How is everyone doing? I hope your day is off to a great start. Absolutely. Ours is. Um, we’re enjoying 2026. So far so good. Yeah, fingers crossed that it continues. Woohoo. Uh, one thing we wanted to talk about recently that has uh, we just started kind of noticing a new pattern that um, a lot of uh, we’re we’re selling a lot more higher price high-end homes. Prescuit’s kind of gone upscale. Yeah. Yeah. So, besides the homes, uh, you know, higherend restaurants, we’re starting to see really fine restaurants, more of them, a lot, as I like to say, we’re becoming kind of a boutique little town. Boutique little town. Boutique town. We’ve got really beautiful shops. Um, people are starting to develop more things. We’ve got some high-end condos coming right around the square. We’ve got some beautiful bars coming. Well, some of them are already here. And um, yeah, really starting speak easy. Really starting to see a lot of older and some historic buildings being renovated and repurposed. uh a lot of development, a lot of things coming. Uh you know, for for those of you, particularly those of you who live in Arizona and have for a while, uh Prescuit still has an old reputation which is kind of outdated that we are one horse town. It’s all about cowboys and you know, punching cattle and that kind of thing up here. Those are those are very much out of date. I don’t think anybody punches cows. Punches Do you punch cows? Are you supposed to punch cows? No, that’s a no. No. Well, I’ve never punched. Maybe in the olden days. I don’t know if you’re supposed to, but I think that’s uh punch the doggies. You’re supposed to call them doggies. We You were speaking out of your realm. Yeah. I don’t know. So, ignore all my cowboy, can you? Yeah. For those of you who don’t know Prescuit, it’s easy. A lot of people don’t know anything about Prescuit, so that’s easy because, you know, they get a they get an accurate first impression. But those of you who kind of have uh outmoded, outdated ideas about what Prescuit is, you should know it. It’s going We got stuff. We got stuff. We got stuff. We got We got great art, culture, galleries. The music scene has just gotten off the chain. Exploded. Yeah. A lot of stuff happening. And um of course the the homes, too. Absolutely. the homes are we’re finding a lot of buyers are coming in and and uh buying more in the million-dollar range and we have plenty of them. They’re they’re kind of it’s been our experience lately. They’ve been flying off the shelf. Yeah. The higher-end homes like so in Prescuit a home that’s let’s say a million and a half still passes as a very high-end luxury home. There are other areas of the country where that’s not much at all. That is not the case here. It’s a beautiful home here. Yeah, that’s it is a million and a half. That’s going to be a gorgeous luxury home. You’re gonna love it. Really, anything north of a million is going to be a luxury home. Easy. Uh that has changed since we’ve been here. Now, we’ve been here about nine years now. Yep. So, that has changed. Uh the median price uh of a home in the city of Prescat proper is about 650,000. So, it’s still hanging around there. Yeah. Um, so even if you wanted more of a mid-range, sixes, eights, nines are still uh you can find that here for sure. Um, they are sitting a little bit longer, which is what we find interesting. Yeah. Um, so even better for those of you who want to bank a lot and buy a more of a mid-range price. Yeah, we got them for you. This is your chance. Get in here and grab them. For those of you, you know, you’ve sold a property for a lot of money and now you’re coming here. Yeah. The options available to you to really go luxury. Uh yeah. What we’re finding is those higherend luxury homes, which are still relatively rare. Uh they fly off the shelves. A lot of people want those very, very high-end homes. And a home in the eights and nines is still a luxury home here. Beautiful. I mean, you know, so you’re not going to lose, my friends. So, if you want to come here and say, “Hey, I want to put a portion of my proceeds into savings or retirement and still have a beautiful home,” they are here. Yeah. Those of you looking for second home or part Yeah. Those those homes are nice. Uh you get a home in the sevens, certainly the eight. It’s going to be a really nice home. So, you’re not going to go you’re not going to go wrong. But what you’re not going to find is a home on the golf course with mountain views, 4,000 square feet, $350,000. Those days are kind of gone. That was gone when we moved here. Yeah, that was gone when we moved here. That we all missed the boat on that, my friends. We all did. Um, but the other good thing is too, Prescat Valley has astonishing homes, beautiful homes. You always get a little more bang for your buck out in PV, uh, as we call it, the locals call it. And it’s only 15 20 minutes from the downtown square. So it’s not like, oh, I have an hour to drive and I really wanted to be in Prescuit. You can enjoy a lot of the same stuff, but out Presca Valley and get a lot more home. Yeah. At least one very high-end subdivisions going in with Jasper. Uh we have some very high-end homes in the Jasper area. Yes. Uh so uh Prescuit Valley is coming on as well. Uh we do have if you are looking for uh a home that’s kind of off the beaten path, you want mostly privacy, not a lot of amenities, you can still find really uh lowpriced homes, relatively low priced homes in Chino Valley, which is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Prescuit. A little bit more, maybe maybe 25. Yeah. And that’s that’s expansive pieces of land, especially if you’re one of those folks who wants to have chickens or goats or horses, they’ll have them out there. They’ll have beautiful homes out there as well. Um, so if you’re looking more for the country lifestyle and you want to have uh like I said, chickens or uh that’s also another really great option for you. If you want kind people come at a premium. If you want to live kind of where everyone else is living that you you pay a premium for that. If you don’t want people around you, well, it’s going to be cheaper. Absolutely. Yeah. So, anyway, we wanted to share that with you. Um things it’s been kind of interesting this year watching what homes are selling and which are are it’s just been an interesting change of of pattern. But, um lots here for you. whatever price range you’re looking for. And we would love to show all of that to you and take you around. Yeah, absolutely. And uh share what we’ve learned living here the past nine and a half years and show you some fabulous neighborhoods. So, where can we go, Mr. Bro? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They think we’re funny, you know, and it’s we’re in 2026. We’re going to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. uh we uh we dated a while before we got married, so I know what she’s going to say three or four sentences before she says it and vice versa. So, we’re really not we’re really not interrupting. We’re just we’re just predicting the future. We’re not Yeah, we’re not trying to be disrespectful to each other. Um that’s just how we roll. We always have. And uh it’s not sadly it’s not going to change. I can’t see that changing. No. But anyway, we sure have fun. Yeah, it’s worked so far. So, cheers to that. Cheers to that. Yeah.
